Don’t order anything from Cuisinart. I have bought the pan from them, but after 3 days the sticky spot developed. It has spread very quickly and within 2 weeks the whole bottom of the pan was sticky. I emailed the support team and told that it was terrible pan and it could be defective. I wanted to change it, but the support team was tricky and wry, therefore they still haven’t told me what I needed to do next....

Purchased a Cuisinart Electric Pressure Cooker in Feb. 2015. It stopped working 45 days later. Contacted the retailer and was told that they would not accept it for return after 30 days. Contacted Cuisinart Customer service via email. I got the runaround for a week with them telling me that the serial number was not theirs. I finally emailed a photo of the bottom of the unit to them. They admitted that, yes, it was the right number and that, yes, it was under warranty, BUT, I would have to pay shipping to send it to them and enclose an additional $10.00 for them to return a new one to me. I contacted...

Cuisinart - New Jersey, Trenton - Defective Product (twice)

We purchased a Cuisinart coffee maker, Model Dcc-3000 from R.C. Willey in January 2013. This coffee maker features an internal storage carafe for the brewed coffee as opposed to a traditional external coffee pot. The design idea is the brewed coffee stays warm within the internal carafe until you are ready for it. Then. you push a button and the coffee dispenses into your cup. The problem? It leaks! The first model lasted about 6 weeks, then when we would brew our coffee it would brew and dribble right out onto the floor. We followed all maintenance suggestions, and the problem persisted. R.C. Willey...

Cuisinart - New Jersey, East Windsor - 8 Stitches To Left Hand

I purchased a brand-new Cuisinart SmartStick (R) hand blender. I used it to make a milkshake in the cup provided. I then unplugged it and cleaned it per instructions. The blade snapped into my left thumb during the cleaning process--it happened so fast and shocked me. I received 8 stitches to my left thumb at the emergency room. Cuisinart has behaved so unethically--first they asked me to send them the blender for their own evaluation to decide if they would reimburse me for medical treatment. Given their F-rating with the BBB and all the negative publicity they have received on the Internet I did...

Cuisinart - Terrible Experience!

This is the 2ND Keurig Coffeemaker I have had to exchange. I paid the premium price because the major selling point was the quietness of the machine, but within weeks both machines became louder than my old Keurig brand. I paid $30 to ship the 2nd machine back to be fixed and I expect to be reimbursed for that thirty dollars. That's only fair! The "Customer Service" rep on the phone told me there was nothing he could and, "It was my responsibility to cover shipping." But it's their fault- it's a defective machine. Why should I pay???...

I'm on my second unit and, like the first one, it leaks. Same identical problem that renders the unit unusable. I thought it was a quirk on with the first one going bad but now, the second one is also bad.

They have a phone number for a department called customer service but this goes to someone who tells you we can't help. This phone number is to a NO CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

If you don't mind your coffee maker only lasting a couple of years then Cuisinart might...

Cuisinart - Non-stick pan

I bought a 12" non-stick pan from Bed Bath & Beyond about 6 months ago, and the pan surface is losing its non-stick surface. It appears to be blistering, then the blisters flake off. I've been zealously protective of the pan, never use metal on it, and clean only with the soft side of a sponge. Also, I bought another pan at the same time, with a promotion included, and Cuisinart inexplicably refused to honor the promo (to receive a grill pan for the purchase of two pans). Very disappointed, twice over now....

Two weeks ago I purchased a Cuisinart CBCW-24 Series coffee maker. Worked great up until about 2 hrs ago. I turned on the on/off button and the on light did not come on. It brewed the coffee but no light to indicate whether the machine is on or off is aggravating. So I dug the instruction booklet out, called customer service and Larry told me that while I am the second person he as spoken to about this happening the only thing he would recommend was to return it to the store I purchased it from. Larry said that since they have not been made aware of any problems with the model, there was nothing...

Purchased a Cuisinart DCC-1100 Series 12-cup Programmable Coffee Maker on 9/29/10. This has the thermal holder for the coffee. I got this so I could keep the coffee hot and save electric. The directions say it keeps the coffee hot for "hours". Not true at all. Best it does is 15 minutes. Called the company and they told me I should boil water and put it in the pot before brewing the coffee. Duh! They told me they would replace it but I had to send it back at my cost and pay for shipping the replacement. Right! Sure I would. The pot lasted two weeks gave it to a neighbor and got a different brand....

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS COOKWARE!!! I have older Cuisinart Cookware which I've had for five years and it's still in GREAT CONDITION. My last purchase of the Cuisinart 10 piece cookware set (SAME MODEL#)is TERRIBLE QUALITY. In just six months of light use...it is PITTED and stained (I don't wash them in the dishwasher.) According to Cuisinart this set was made 'lighter weight' per customer request. It is TERRIBLE and the older (not THAT much heavier) cookware is by far clearly better made and there is no pitting or staining. I have to pay shipping both ways to have one skillet...

Cuisinart - Alabama - Weak blender blades

I'm on my FOURTH cuisinart SPB-456-2 blade. It's for the smart power 7 speed blender. The blender itself has proven to be pretty tough after 5 years of using it 3~5 times a week but their blades simply cannot withstand frozen items.

The base of the blade that grabs the spinning rubber "teeth" that are on the main drive shaft is made of plastic and threaded onto the main spinning shaft of the blade assembly. Apparently this plastic base screws onto the shaft and if something in the blender catches the teeth just right, it'll strip the plastic base of the blade assembly...

After grinding beans and brewing coffee and entering the warming mode and around 15 minutes later we heard a loud crackling noise from the kitchen and then noticed smoke coming from the bottom of the unit below the heating pad area. Cuisinart only offered to waive the $10 warranty return fee and ship another unit. Decided to keep it and notify everyone of this potential hazard so it would not be pushed aside by Cuisinart....

Cuisinart requested that I ship the broken breadmaker oven to them I did so on May 14, 2009. The lid had broken, but the rest of the oven was in perfect condition. I contacted them and was given the order # 9700898689 for further tracing.

They sent me a breadmaker that was not mine and it is defective on June 19, 2009. It leaves the bread raw that is the oven part is broken. They included instructions to send this machine to the United States for further repairs. This is not my machine, and I would like my machine which remains in Ontario to be repaired and returned to me. It remains...

Cuisinart - Dangerous

I put boiling chicken broth into the blender, following the directions on how to handle hot liquids. I was holding the lid tightly on the blender. When I turned the machine on, the top of the blender blew off with incredible force. I have serious burns on both of my forearms and my chest. Luckily, the liquid did not get on my 7 month old infant who was sitting nearby in her high chair. VERY DANGEROUS!!!...

Cuisinart - Connecticut, Shelton - Cuisinart gave me the run-around

The company gave me a run around just for a 1.5 Qt. saucepan lid that was missing from the kit that my husband bought for me on Christmas. We emailed them on the 29th of December as soon as we got back from our vacation and they just responded by email on the 19th of January telling us to call an 800 number. I called the number today and they gave me a number for Cuisinart and I was thrown back to them. I only wanted to get the missing lid and they will charge me 30 bucks for it when we already paid for it in the first place. They will replace the entire set but one of the skillet in that set burnt...

Cuisinart - Oregon, Eugene - Customer Service

I ordered a part from Cuisinart on a Sunday. 30 mins later I found out that I didn't need the part and cancelled the order. They shipped it anyhow and for a 1.59 part charged me about 7.00 for shipping. It was shipped on a Monday.
When I inquired why it had not been cancelled they said they don't take messages on Sunday. And there was nothing they could do, however, I could ship it back and they emailed me a packing slip. When I inquired about a refund for the shipping costs that I paid no-one would give me an answer, although I was very explicit, and sent 4 emails. Each person...

Cuisinart - New Jersey, East Windsor - Bad service

Within a year of owning the Cuisinart coffeemaker DTC 975 series, I had it replaced once; the second pot malfunctioned within 2mos. Total cost of shipping on my part approx. $20. for each replacement. Told by Co. rep. out of thousands of coffeemakers there may be 50 defective. I of course received two of them. Why should I incur the extra expense of shipping for their defective product. I've decided not to chance another defective pot and absorb the loss. The original cost was $99.00. I've been using a 5yr old back up pot while waiting to resolve this issue; original cost $20....
