Cricket Wireless - Overcharged and refused to refund the money

Absolutely horrible. Had to cancel service due to poor cell coverage at my house and they refused to refund money that they incorrectly charged me (when I setup auto-pay it immediately charged my account against their policies basically double charging me for the same month). Spent hours talking to numerous individuals and the bottom line appeared to be that they had no capacity whatsoever to refund any money. When I asked for contact information to elevate this to their corporate office I got a physical address and no email or phone number. Spent hours searching for a valid phone number or email...

Cricket Wireless - not honoring promo

Back in April Cricket was offering a promo if you switch to there service you will get the third month for free. the only exclusion was that you are not switching from ATT which is understandable as they are owned by ATT. Upon my request to get credit for third month I was informed that Straight Talk (TracFone) is also excluded from the promo based on there vendor porting code.

Hence the credit is denied...

I went in to this store on 6/11/15 to look at phones as I am eligible to get out of a contract. The Sales Rep Shane came up and started immediately talking about how bad Sprint service was. I agreed. Cricket Wireless' legal team goes for drinks with state attorney generals and is afraid to have open cases when meeting. All Attorney General Complaints get what the customer is asking for. NEED A REFUND, REPLACEMENT GSM PHONES, AND COMPENSATION FOR BAD SERVICE? WRITE THE ATTORNEY GENERAL. I have been a cricket wireless PREPAY customer since 2003 in Modesto California. Both of my son's first phones were Cricket wireless since high school. The reason I choose cricket is because it is prepay without a contract. I get paid biweekly and my pay date never falls on the date payment is due. Many months my phone is shut off for a few days until I can PREPAY AGAIN. Naturally in this world of greed cricket has decided to charge late fees. Since we first got the phones the phone vibrates by itself and we need to take the battery out so it will stop. The screen goes back and we need to take the battery out. The phone screen dims in and out constantly. It also freezes. This was a promo phone with a rebate back. The service also is horrible and our internet is slow, dropped calls all the time there's no internet access. Since we switched to the new cricket we are very unsatisfied with the service. We will never by a Windows phone ever....

I have been a customer of Cricket for 5 years, I have had different phones over the years. 4 years ago, I added my 2 grandchildren to my account. In February 2014, I went to the Cricket Store located at 2900 N Classen Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73106 and purchased 2 Galaxy S4's for my grandchildren. The total was over $1000 for both phones.

We have been with cricket for at least 2 years. Cricket claims offer to switch I phones to their network. After 4 trips to the cricket stores and numerous phone calls and transfers, to cricket 800# and having paid for activation fee and sims card, which was $40 total. There is still no activation. I have a lot of terrible things I could say about Cricket customer service but I accept that. However, I don't accept blatant theft. After about 40 minutes of speaking with two customer service representatives they admitted they overcharged me. They overcharged at least $75. They stated it was completely their fault. I went in to purchase a phone for my existing Cricket Service. I purchased the phone and from the get go it didn't connect to the internet unless I was near wifi. I went back and they said 'eh sometimes it happens'. My old phone never did that. So I left . Went to the Apple Service Center and find out Cricket sold me a Sprint Phone. Never buy phone under the impression you will get a rebate. I called three times and was on hold for over an hour. Never received rebate, and it was over 60 days. The first time I called they tried to say I mailed in rebate after the date. I kept my recipe and told them no that's not right. Then the second time they say the same thing. I ported out my numbers from Cricket Wireless to Verizon on the first day of a new billing cycle and Cricket refuses to refund the unused service charges. When I contacted Cricket via electronic chat to resolve this dispute their customer service rep terminated the conversation without any response to my complaint... they hung up on me!

I am disputing this charge through my bank and I am seeking any existing class action lawsuits for these despicable business practices....

We had a family emergency and needed to get a two day courtesy extension for our phone service and Cricket Wireless very coldly refused. The nature of the emergency was that my wife's sister in California lapsed into the terminal stage of her multiple myeloma and my wife needed to have the phone stay on in order to communicate with family members. We told them we could pay in two days but they refused to give an extension. This company is the worst. I placed an order 3 weeks ago online for a
sim card and plan. It was then cancelled by your company 3 days later.
Which is fine because my order was never sent out. But last Saturday I

On May 19, 2014 my husband broke his phone. I called to file a claim to have it replaced and was informed that I would have to pay an additional $70 to have it replaced if they accepted the claim. On 1/9/14 I went on line to the cricket website to pay my January bill. I paid online, with my Mastercard debit card. There was an error message that said my payment didn't go through, so I called the customer service rep & made another payment over the phone. Each payment was for $36.00. On 1/11/14 I viewed my online statement & called the bank which confirmed that both payments were taken out of my account by Cricket.
