Checking account
Bancorp South allowed 14 bogus checks To be written against our checking account amounting to over $40,000 dollars. They refuse any responsibility because I didn't catch it myself within 30 days of statement.
We had written only 1 check during that period except for a cash draw at bank.
All bogus checks were obviously bogus and signatures were not even close. They refuse any responsibility...
My other 3 banks assume me this isn't normal business for any banks.
Need help. We are retired on fixed income.

Desired outcome: According to an attorney who read the contract, we are responsible for the first 3 checks because we didn't catch it within 30 days of statement
Overcharging nsf
I have paid an unbelievable amount of insufficient fund charges every month I have been with this bank. When I make a purchase and the bank does not post it for weeks and I might make a withdrawal from an atm, the next day they will post up to ten charges that might be 2-10 dollars and charge me 35 dollars each. I think that is very unethical and everyone...
