Rude Driver & Worst Experience with Billion Stars Express
I often travel between KL and JB using various bus services, but my recent experience with Billion Stars Express was the worst yet. I had purchased a ticket for a 9:00 am departure from KL to JB and arrived at TBS by 8:00 am, prepared to board by 8:45 am. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting over an hour before a different bus (KBES) arrived. When I asked the driver why a different bus had shown up instead of Billion Stars Express, he impatiently questioned why I was asking so many questions. He then rudely prevented me from boarding and told me to request a refund instead. Pressed for time due to an important meeting in JB, I attempted to board anyway, but the driver became aggressive, pushing me back and nearly causing me to fall. Feeling unsafe, I ultimately decided to request a refund.

Disappointing experience with billion stars express
After reading several reviews and considering the experiences shared by other customers, I must say my journey with Billionstarsexpress was highly disappointing. The bus was delayed, the staff were unhelpful, and the overall service was below par. From the lack of information to uncomfortable conditions during the ride, it was not the experience I had hoped for. I would advise potential customers to be cautious when choosing this service.
Dangerous and unprofessional
Avoid at all cost. After starting 30 minutes late from Penang , ( that can happen and wouldn’t judge on 30 minutes delay, the driver stopped for half and hour almost an hour in the middle of nowhere to wait fur a “passenger”. The passenger was not a passenger but either a friend or a member of the staff …we were slready 1:30 minutes late . he sat in front of the bus talking with the driver. Then the driver went full speed ( no respect at all with distance for breaking …) constantly obey the speed limit, the bus was equipped with one of these alarm … and it kept beeping … this is all very concerning already when I heard music seating behind the driver on the first row. I took a look at him and he was littarelly watching videos on YouTube or whatever while driving … this company should not even be allowed to drive buses , stay alive and avoid it : bus KDW2311 Penang KL on the 17 April 2024 what a shame ….. departure 10:00 am when the real time was more 11:30 from after the Penang bridge

Disgusting service and behavior from billion star/etika driver
I had the worst experience ever traveling with your company on 1 January 2025, from Butterworth to KL Sentral (12:30 PM, bus plate KEQ 7111).
First, my booked seat was already taken. When I asked the driver about it, he replied rudely: “Nak naik, naik. Kalau takmau naik tinggai.” Seriously? That’s how you talk to a paying customer? What kind of [censored]ing retarded old man? If this is the kind of people you hire, you should be ashamed.
Then, while I was lining up, the driver asked if I was with the man behind me (a stranger). When I said “No” he repeatedly joked, “Amboii! Nak kahwinkan takmau.” What kind of unprofessional and inappropriate behavior is this? He kept repeating it, even after I took my seat, making me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. You think that’s funny? It’s stupid and disgusting, not funny at all.
Also, how does your ticketing system even work? How can someone buy a seat that’s already booked? This is not just poor management, it’s a complete failure of your ticketing system and it shows a lack of care for your customers’ experience.
This driver’s behavior is a violation of professional conduct and unacceptable by any standard. He was rude, inappropriate, and clearly not fit for the job. Billion Star needs to seriously re-evaluate its hiring process and retrain its employees. Judging by the other complaints I’ve read, I’m not alone in facing these issues, and it’s clear your company doesn’t care about resolving them.
Get your act together, or just stop operating entirely. You’re a disgrace to the transportation industry.

My luggage was stolen on bus PRE 7999 on October 31, 2024, during the journey from Penang Komtar to Melaka. I only realized it was missing when we were transferring to a different bus.
This is completely unacceptable. I have heard concerning things about your company, but I never thought I would experience theft firsthand. I strongly suspect involvement from within your organization, and it is truly disappointing to feel such mistrust.
And thank you for your mistreatment and bad services because I tried to call, but everybody blocked me proving that this company is involved of stealing from people.

They were late for 2 hours and they tried to change our booking time from the Easybook app.
The bus was late for 2 hours and they tried changing the time of our original booking from 10:15 to 11:45 and gaslighting us telling that we were late but we were already there around 10:00 pm. They sent a bus with broken seats and very dirty and it is like a 3rd party bus. The customer service was very rude telling us that there is traffic when 4 bus have already passed and there is no traffic. I have screenshots and videos of the incidents but the file is too large so I cannot post the videos but see the photos. Take note, the booking cannot be rebooked or cancelled. We also tried reaching out to Easybook but they just closed our ticket. Do not be deceived their whatsApp number cannot be called.

Super delayed and ridiculous free seating
We booked Billion Star Express bus to return to JB Larkin Sentral from KL TBS on 8/6/2024 at 5pm. Guess what! Almost 7pm, we are still waiting at TBS.
Staffs at counter chit chat but no one make inititiave to inform and update passengers on the delay. When someone is asking just said on the way and delay without apologize at all.
I wonder buses are on the same expressway. How come other bus company can be on time without facing traffic jam issue?
On the same day morning, we took Billion Star Express from JB Larkin Sentral to KL TBS at 8.30am. Bus is slightly delayed and departed at 8.45am which is accepted.
Booked 3 seats in a row together, when board in the bus, seats have been taken. Only being informed by driver that is free seating. With no choice, we have to sit separately. In this case, what is the point to let passenger to choose preferred seat but actual is first come first serve basis.
Some of the passengers booked same bus with us even being asked to wait for next bus as the bus is fully booked. Ticketing system allows double book. Ridiculous!

Lost package
I am an Indian tourist.
I left behind a black plastic shoe bag with 2 brand new Adidas shoe boxes with new shoes inside when I got down at Hentian Duta stop, Kuala Lampur, on 28.5.24 afternoon around 3.30m. Bus delayed without any notification
This is the first time I taking this billon stars express and I had the worst experience with this bus service. I booked a bus ticket scheduled for 10:30 PM. However, on the morning of the travel day, a staff member contacted me via WhatsApp to inform me that the bus had been rescheduled to either 9:30 PM or 11:30 PM. Given no other choice, we opted for the 11:30 PM slot.
Following the ticket's instructions, we arrived at the pick-up point 30 minutes before the scheduled time. However, it is now 12:10 AM, and the bus has still not shown up. To make matters worse, the person who contacted us this morning is now uncontactable. Billions Star Bus service to KL at 8.45am, Mar 4th
The office operator at Trans star office Nancy was extremely rude in conversing. She didn't let me sit in the office to wait for Billion Star bus scheduled at 8.45am, March 4 from Grantall Mall, McPherson. Nancy was extremely rude at that time saying "are you listening to me?", go outside and sit and wait for 3rd party billion star bus. It costed me whole day, Im not able to attend client meetings now in KL and lost today's salary. On top of it my whole morning was wasted crying in front of police telling that my office manager won't be happy as I won't be able to reach on time to KL. I called Billion star they were unresponsive, sometimes they picked up the phone and didn't gave any assurance when I'll get my bus. I have attached Whatsapp screenshots as well, where I was pleading them to tell me when will I get my next bus they didn't responded at all. And I somehow managed to get a bus myself around 11.15am.
Nancy told billion star is 3rd party and they are not responsible for it. She also called police to come down and while police is on the way the bus came around 10am, but she didn't let me in the bus and bus went away. Police resolved it in 5 mins, they cleared me up - nothing on me. I have attached the police report number. The whole thing just wasted by whole day.
Claimed loss: $800 1 day salary lost
Desired outcome: Please refund my today salary which didn't happen due to the delay of bus. Also file a complaint against Nancy for being so rude to the customer, ultimately led me to cry for hours and business interruption.

I've booked a ticket to go to Sg. Nibong from Hentian Duta.
I rushed from Puncak Alam and reached Hentian Duta at 6.45pm.
Then, I went to counter No. 14 to check in and the receptionist told the bus will be late about 30 mins to 45mins.
I said okay and waited at the platform for the bus.

Unprofessional driver and delayed plans
Took bus from Lavender mrt to KL scentral. 2pm bus was postponed to 3pm. Eventually bus move at 4pm. Didn't inform us the delay which is definitely unprofessional. My ticket was direct to KL Sentral but the bus stopped at Melaka without prior notice and stopped at TBS. This has affected our plans in KL. Bus arrival delayed
The bus arrived an hour late and took three breaks of 30 to 45 minutes each time, resulting in a longer arrival time at the destination. From 7.45p.m (Sunday) to 1.40a.m (Monday).

Bought the ticket on 4.30pm but bus arrived on 5.30pm. I noticed the bus wasn't came from other place, It was actually parked behind Sungai Nibong Terminal and only depart on 5.30pm.

The bus trip is on 13/112023 from Tun Aminah to TBS and the bus is STAR BILLION BUS . The driver is being so rude . My seat is suddenly same with other passengers and the driver is do nothing . Dropping this message to raise a complaint against the driver.
Following are the details:
Departure date and time: 3rd November, 2023 at 12:30pm.
Route: Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur to Kitchener Complex (Lavender MRT, Singapore)
1. When the bus reached Berjaya Times Square, my Fiancé went to the driver to check if it was the correct bus, but the driver was very rude. Moreover, the bus was very dirty and uncomfortable which had food litters and sand with tiny stones on the chairs. My Fiancé and I had to clean the dirty seats so that we could sit.
2. At the next stop, which was at TBS, the driver rounded almost 3 times around TBS and then ended up stopping at the petrol station to refuel the bus. Then, once the bus was refuelled, the driver drove to the pick-up point. At the pick-up point, all passengers were told to visit the washroom before the journey as he would only make the next stop straight at JB Larkin.
Many passengers have visited the washroom and have returned to their seat. But the driver waited for 2 hours and then made a move from TBS which we felt was too long and unnecessary.
3. Once we left TBS, the driver stopped at a Shell Petrol Pump before or at around Pagoh.
All the passengers got down to go to the washroom, so my Fiancé and I also decided to go. While we were about to leave the bus, the driver started shouting saying "why do you all need to get down one by one to go toilet, I didn’t stop the bus for you all to go toilet”. Yet, we ignored it.
4. Once done, I got into the bus again along with a Chinese aunty. The driver literally waited for all the Malay passengers before he made a move. Once they were all in, the driver wanted to make a move, but I told him twice him that my Fiancé is still not here, but he refused to wait and said he can't wait anymore that’s all everyone on the bus already, went to his seat and started his engine. But the driver was very stubborn, he still made a move and didn't wait. My Fiancé was running towards the bus, and a Chinese passenger too told him to stop the bus as my Fiancé was chasing the bus. Then that is when the driver decides to stop the bus and let my Fiancé in, while shouting and being so rude. Which is not the right way, as he didn’t give us any specific timeline on when to return to the bus. It is unacceptable behaviour; we are paying for the bus ticket to drop us from one location to another not to be left in the mid-way.
5. Then, at Larkin. I needed to use the washroom. So, I walked over to the driver to let him know that I needed to visit the washroom. He was still arrogant; he just nodded his head to me without even giving me an answer.
6. Moreover, the driver also helped a lady passenger to hide her electronic cigarette (vape) in order for her to bring it to Singapore. He was nice to only the Malay passengers and was rude to the rest including my Fiancé and myself.
7. His driving was very reckless and it was very scary to put our lives into someone hands who is doesn’t even care about anyone else other than his own people or himself.
Desired outcome: I need the proper justification for the all the incident we faced and trauma fear we had to go through because of the reckless driver.
