I was going to buy some cakes from this particular store at Toa Payoh Hub (Blk 500, Toa Payoh Lorong 6, #02-31). I politely called out to the two lady staff chatting happily behind the counter and ask for assistance but they simply ignored me. I was utterly shocked by their attitude. Soon enough (after a few minutes), more customers gathered at the counter. Only then did the staff respond unwillingly. Is this how a retail shop supposed to treat its customers? I will never buy from this store again. No thank you.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have went to the various branches of Bengawan Solo and I do have to agree that they have the worst customer services ever. The sales person would never smile while serving the customers and they even ignore your enquiries on the food that you would want to buy. If it isn't that the cakes are nice, I would have never step foot in Bengawan Solo ever. In fact, I feel that one time experience is actually enough for me to have a lifetime of regrets.
