Received stamps for pots when it should have been for glassware
Please explain to me why I was given stamp for pots and not for the glassware when I was purchasing items at the self checkout? I went into today and was refused my purchase because I was given the wrong stamps. I have no idea what the clerk was talking about with pots. Why was I given useless stamps when I earned those stamps. Is this another false advertising scam or just not giving the customer what they paid for? This is not acceptable.
I went to the store June 22nd to get a set of glasses and the person working customer service acted like I was lying. We were given these at the self check out.
How you treat customers who spend thousands with you is pathetic
Superstore didn't even reply to my message on Facebook. What poor service.
And I was lied to at PC Financial where I was told a Manager would be emailing but rather I got a email from PC Financial telling me o contact the Manager. Case 21479691. I've been lied to and jerked around because you gave me the wrong stamps at the self checkout.
I had to spend $20 for each stamp and you gave me fraudulant stamps so I want a refund from each of the stamps that was given to me and you can see in my file that I never signed up for stamps for pots.
I have complained so many times that I am going to file a formal complaint.
Claimed loss: $260
Desired outcome: Refund of $260 and not PC points. I want my money back. This is not okay.

Flyer prices via e-mail
On November 9th, 2024 I placed an order for my weekly groceries, the order was delivered at 3:17 PM that afternoon via Instacart. I had ordered two items from an e-mailed flyer I received on November 7th, 2024 that supposedly were on sale, from November 7th to November 13, 2024. Scotties Supreme White 3 ply tissues (6 pack) for $4.00 per six pack, I ordered 3, I was charged $11.95 per six pack. I also ordered 2 PC oranges juices priced at $3.99 each per sales flyer and I was charged $5.49 each. A few weeks ago I called Atlantic Superstore Tantallon regarding the fact I was not being charged sale prices on the items I had in my cart, they informed me the sale price amounts would be rung in before my items were delivered.
So on these two ordered I was overcharged a total of $26.97. I took the paperwork to Atlantic Superstore Tantallon, which is less than a mile from where I live, is it not reasonable to think my grocery order came from this close store? In any event the customer service people could find no record of my order and delivery. They informed me they could do nothing for me as they did not supply this order. They should have done the checking into where it came from because nothing on internet order/delivery shows a direct store where it was sourced.
I found someone from Instacart who advised it came from Bedford, which is several miles away. I called the Atlantic Superstore Bedford and spoke to someone who was going to speak to someone in the know and they would return my call, it's been a few hours and no response, what do I do, pack up these items and return them at my expense to Bedford? Because it's a substantial amount, I may very well have to.
Desired outcome: I would like a credit applied to my credit card for the price differences and have the flyer prices honored.

PC extra fine whole green beans frozen. 500 g
Best before date on frozen product: 2025 JL 02 21:37, L [protected].
I have purchase this product from a couple of your retail outlets. The first time I purchased it was from your "Independent" style local outlet, and I knew they had on occasion, issues with their freezers. I got non edible product. Assumed it was a freezer issue. Second time I purchased from a different location, and a different grade store ( Atlantic Super Store), (whom, I've not been aware of freezer issues)... I got non edible product. I had purchased this product in the past and was super pleased with finding small GREEN beans, that cooked as instructed via the package, where every palatable. These last couple of bags of frozen Green beans, purchased from two different locations, and two different areas, were not edible. The beans were not green... more of a gray color with a hint of green, and tasted,.. ( sorry for the detail, but accurate) much the way Goose excrement smells. I feel like you changed farms, and are getting a far inferior product. Hoping you will take this under consideration, for your next purchase of frozen green beans. Just so you know, I took the financial hit on these, as I did not return, but supplied disappointedly to my compost pile! Guess I should just grow my own.
Claimed loss: Did not claim. Should have, but didn't want a small store to take a hit, and did not want to travel the distance to the second store to claim.
Desired outcome: Want the company to find a new supplier. I want to be able to purchase your frozen product with the confidence, I am getting a top notch product, I want on my table for my family.

Superstore carts make me feel like a thief
I was in Atlantic Superstore today around 12:30. Just trying to get some frozen meals for the week. I came in for my things, checked out and then headed for the doors. The front doors man told me to have a nice day and smiled and I followed back with the same. When all of a sudden as I am exiting my cart locks and some alarm starts going off. There is a line of people behind me and as they start to serve around me. The front desk guy comes over an says he needs to check my Receipt. It was super embarrassing and make me feel like a criminal. They didn’t need to check my receipt only UNTIL my cart locked. They didn’t check any other receipts except for mine either. I’m convinced they have people looking from above and locking to carts at the doors just to try and catch thieves, but I am NOT one! And then they never offered to help me as I was trying to push this locked cart to my car just trying to get my groceries in. Makes me want to shop at Sobeys.
Desired outcome: Don’t lock the carts.

Delivery / customer service
I started on this journey with an issue on a delivery transaction. Now it is so much more than that. I've been trapped in an endless loop of trying to find someone to hear me. Making calls only to be shrugged off and given the same email address that goes nowhere. I write emails anyway, but they just get rejected by your system. I'm putting one of the threads below, but honestly I am so disappointed in this experience that I can't believe I've been a loyal customer for so long. I have over a million points that I don't even want to use now. I know that doesn't matter on your end because there is no financial benefit for the stores, but you've spent millions of dollars to develop loyal customers only to have your customer service training and practices fail.
That's all.
Lara Cassidy
Hello,
I was told by my Atlantic Superstore on Chain Lake Dr. to send a note to [protected]@pcexpress.ca. I did just that and it came back to me with the below. I found your email address online.
Could you please see my notes below and get back to me with your thoughts on if you feel this customer service is acceptable?
I know I sound sarcastic here, but I’m not being so. I’m being genuine. I find this situation has left me feeling so let down from a shop that I choose regularly to spend my earnings at, that I need to know that I have not been so wrong to do so.
I’ll look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hello,
I sent the below email looking for an answer. Instead I received this:
Ticket (#324726) has already been closed. This new request will not be actioned.
Please send a new email to [protected]@pcexpress.ca to raise a new ticket.
This is NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Would like to hear from someone with at the very least an apology, but more than that - I would like to be compensated for my missing items.

To whom it may concern,
I wanted to write you a note to explain the situation I encountered with my delivery order yesterday.
First, let me say that it was my first time using PC delivery - and I suspect my last.
I was in a unique situation yesterday where I found out I had surprise guests showing up at my home at 5:00pm, but I am temporarily incapacitated and unable to walk any distance or lift any weight. I had a moment of brilliance and decided to order groceries as I haven’t been able to shop and had very little in my cupboards.
Communication from the shop was good except for a note I received that some of the items I ordered were unavailable and would be replaced with a selection of my choice. I didn’t want the replacements, but there was no way to 'reject all'. No matter, I wrote a note in the ‘notes’ section.
My order was due between 5:00 and 6:00 pm. At 6:05pm I received a call saying that the driver had delivered my order to the wrong address in a different building nearby. The person at that address called the store to notify them.
I was then given the choice of going to get my groceries from that building or waiting until sometime the next day to receive my order. Neither good options. When I expressed this wasn’t really acceptable, I was basically told “too bad”. The store doesn’t pull orders after 5:00pm and it wasn’t their fault because they have no control over the Skip The Dishes drivers.
Thankfully, one of my guests arrived during the call, took over the situation and went to get the groceries for me, but when she arrived back several items were missing that I was billed for.
I was very surprised that:
a) Skip The Dishes was the delivery service as there is no mention of this when ordering.
b) PC Express at the store had no accountability and could not offer any workable solution.
c) The attitude that I was met with - that it was basically my problem and no-one was going to help me.
d) There was no type of follow up to see if everything was in order once my groceries were retrieved. Especially as it wasn’t.
As a very good customer, I feel completely let down.
Regards,
Lara Cassidy
Desired outcome: An apology, a refund, an explanation - all of it or nothing. I've lost my enthusiasm now.
Hello Sir,
I have come to your Atlantic superstore 429 Coverdale Rd, Riverview NB E1B 3K3 on Sunday March 16, 2025 between 8:32pm- 9:00pm and was doing shopping. I want to purchase groceries and the manager was impatient and rude while i was billing the items. Manager I do not know the name but he was around 50 old and you can find his name of shift as per timing i am providing you.
He was literally angry and rude with me while I was taking a little time and he told me do not come to store at 8 :30 pm to buy anything and not allowing me even stand there I was feelings like I was discriminated by him. AND he was showing me bigger eyes and gave me look like get lost from here. I was saying him sorry 10 times but he wasn't consider it.
I want action against him otherwise I will do police complaint and harassment compliant in SNB and do file against him.
Carte cadeau
Desired outcome: Un remboursement
Paying for items at checkout
It’s Saturday morning. Went in to purchase a few items. The store was a typical busy Saturday morning. When I went to check out my items there were only 2 cashiers on a busy Saturday morning. Oh right the other option is the self check out which was overloaded next to the 2 cashiers with line ups down the store carts packed other waiting with their few items. This is horrible. Just something else to on to the frustration people are feeling with shrink inflation and sky rocketing prices as this company is making more profit than ever before. I left upset and drove up to Sobeys. All cashiers were on and the bonus …. eXPRESS checkout 15 items or less and No self checkout. And the food quality and prices … much better. After shopping at the Tantallon Superstore for 20 years I bid you goodbye. Stan
My shopping experience
I shop at this store weekly. 509 Atlantic Superstore, Montague, Pei. I had 2 bad experiences lately. Before shopping, I used the washroom & it was very dirty. Totally turned me off. The second time I went to buy bananas & they were all half rotten. I would like to receive a gift card for these experiences. I am a regular customer & would appreciate a gift card. My email address is [protected]@live.ca

The contradictory policy of the student discount Tuesday
Morning, my name is Megan Liu. I am a student at Mount Saint Vincent University.
I live Westwood community of Halifax which is nearby the St. Margret Bay Atlantic Superstore. I went there this morning (May 09, 2023) and tried to get benefits from student discounts. However, the manager told me that there only the city superstore has the policy not here, which really doesn't make sense to me because I just got it last Tuesday! (May 02, 2023). I explained to her at that time, but she and the cashier both insistently hold the original opinion. I sent the message on Facebook trying to clearly tell the story to the communicator. I asked for help to know what I should follow in the conflict situation and could they like to check it for me.
The communicator online told me that there is no longer an offer for the student discount. When I asked the question about where I can get the news of the elimination of the policy online, I got the response that I might not find out the information about the new policy for the specific store, which is really blurry and doesn't make sense to me.
wrong prices
I am a loyal shopper at your store, but very pissed off at the moment. The last 4 times i went in that store to buy things,it came up a bigger price than the ticket on the shelf.Knowing my prices and watch everything ,i had to get a employee to fix the price,if i didn,t see it,think of how many more people are paying the wrong ,more expensive price. With the cost of everything now, people have to watch every penny spent, its hard, and also my husband went shopping there saturday passed,i was home sick and bought almost a $100 worth the stuff and found 2 things on the receipt, with wrong prices, they were supposed to be on sale.i just thought i,d bring this to your attention.hope this gets resolved
Exclusive offers and flyer offers
Hi I frequently shop at the Elmsdale Superstore in Nova Scotia because I live in Enfield and it's 6.3 km's from my house. the problem I have is they never carry enough flyer deals or exclusive offer deals. I will often try and go there on the first day of the sales because I know how hard it is to buy the products that are available. for instance this week I had received an exclusive offer for atlantic butter $3.99 I literally drove there 3 times to know avail I even called tonight because the deal is over this evening and they said no we don't have any we only received one case this week so frustrating! So then I called some other superstores to see if they had any out of all three I called they had the products as they usually do problem is they are too far away I would burn more fuel then savings. my brother in law works as a manager in another location and he tells me they don't order enough stock for up coming flyers because they don't have that problem at there store, while I'm at it there is hardly ever a time I don't come home and look at my receipt that I'm not over charged for something again not worth the fuel to go back for a couple of bucks! sorry for the rant one pretty frustrated customer here I would rather you didn't send me exclusive offers I cannot take advantage of thanks a lot!

the employee overseeing the self checkout at the Fredericton northside location Sunday July 24/22
I was scanning a few items this morning when the clerk on duty came over and started rummaging through my bags claiming there were items I hadn't scanned. The fact of the matter was I had two of the same items. I double scanned one of them and then bagged them as I always do with identical items. She told me I couldn't do it that way. She made me feel like I was a thief and never took her eyes off me during the entire transaction. Is it not her job to help people, not critisise them? I never caught this ladies name, but the incident took place July 24/22 between 7 and 8 am. I do not like being treated like a common thief. I won't be back there again. Should nothing be done about this I will go to the higher ups. It'll likely all be swept under the table, but I will make waves.
