0n 12/3/2022 Ally Financial and Nissan of Rockville Centre are using a 2023 Nissan Altima (Vin # 1N4BL4EV4PN309209) as collateral to open an additional $44,000 dollars auto loan on the used 2022 Nissan Altima (Vin # 1N4BL4EV7NN394186). The 2022 Nissan Altima was purchased and financed with Citizens Bank on 7/9/2022 for $45,946.88. The original sticker price on the 2022 Nissan Altima was $32,735 dollars. Despite all the payments I made prior to 12/3/2022 on the used 2022 Nissan Altima with Citizens Bank. Ally Financial refuses to correct the credit reports to show the actual amount I owe which is $9,087.86. as of 10/15/2023. This has hurt my credit and scores since the additional $44,000 with Ally Financial was added to my credit reports. In addition, one payment to Ally Financial was late due to an error by their own people which Ally Financial refuses to correct on the credit reports. Ally Financial also knew that opening this auto loan account was not right, however opened it anyway.
Desired outcome: Ally Finacial needs to lower their interest rates on this account since it was based on an illegal loan amount of $44,000, and to show on the credit reports the actual amount I owe which is $9,087.86.
