Yvette took a $400 bridesmaid dress, ruined it and came close to ruining our wedding. She took up the hem for two layers (one of these layers was taken up about 10cm higher than the other) and both layers were taken up too much. She did this without being asked and there is no way to take back the damage she has done to the dress. She also took the dress in around the bust and it looks very puffy in spots as it was done poorly. Luckily I was able to contact the company who stocks the dress and we have another one arriving from America a week before the wedding which has cost us $500 and we will need to pay for correct alterations on top of that. Don't go to Yvette's Clothing Alterations!

We took a brand new suit and a jacket to this place and they were totally ruined. The sleeves on the suit were different lengths and the excess material was stuffed back up in the sleeves. The buttons were also crooked. The other jacket sleeves were sewn crooked and crooked stitching was sewn onto the bottom of the sleeves. No showing sewing was on the original jacket so it should have been blind sewn so no stitching was visible. Be aware of the poor quality work which was carried out on our clothing by this business. Hundred of dollars wasted as we now have to purchase a new suit and jacket and get a professional to do alterations.
