I bought Whirlpool dishwasher from Home Depot Canada as online purchaser on 16 Oct 2023 Item was delivered on 20th Oct. from 2nd day item keeps peeping and does not finish the cycle. We called WP CS and requested service. Tech came on 25th Oct, cleared the error and said item is go now. Same day at evening the error pops up again. We called WP CS and requested service. Tech came in and after checking said the pump is defective and needs replacement. He said needs to order parts and did not give time frame for parts to arrive. Item is covered by 30 days money back guarantee. Called Home depot and they processed the return case number [protected]. They told me to call WP to schedule pick up and refund will be issued after item is returned. In the meantime I ordered new dishwasher from WP website on 2nd Nov. New dishwasher was scheduled for delivery on 08th Nov. I called WP CS on 07 Nov at 3pm and told them new dishwasher will be delivered on 08th Nov. can the delivery team pick up the old machine to return it to WP? the representative said yes and requested to call after item is picked up to process the refund. I called WP again on 08th Nov at 12:48pm to inform them new item is delivered and old item is picked up for return by same delivery team. Representative said that is fine and I will process the refund. Couple of days later we received a call from WP saying they did not receive the old item and can't issue the refund. I have called them many times and informed them the old item was picked up by the same delivery team who delivered the new item, they said old item is supposed to be picked up by another team and I should have waited for their call to schedule pick up. I told them I did not know that and I called in advance on 07th Nov and asked the rep if same delivery team can pick up the return and called again on 08th Nov to confirm item was picked up and representative did not say anything. I am unable to reach resolution with WP, they keep asking me to return the old item in order (which I don't have) to process the refund.
