The only reason they have received one star is because you must give a star to give a review. I had my loan with American Financial and after three years Westlake stated they bought my loan, not the warranty and is not honoring it. I had auto deduction coming out of my account with AF and wasn't aware of the company going out of business. Once I seen that my payment didn't come out that Saturday, I called on Monday to see what the issue was. That's how I found out, not by a letter nor phone call. WF tried to charge me a late fee that I was not going to pay because I wasn't late. It took 6 phone calls and 3 months for them to take it off my account. Their customer service is in another country where you can hardly understand what they are saying. I've called twice this morning because there is a "new fee" of $16.47 on my account. I have sat on hold for a manager 40 minutes, we were disconnected for me to call back and be on hold another 30 minutes. I am at work. I WOULD NOT REFER ANYONE TO THIS COMPANY. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE.

Desired outcome: Stop adding to my bill there is a $16.47 that needs to be removed.
