When we first moved to the Springs in 2020, we started with Springs Waste, but unfortunately, once Waste Connections took over, the quality of service has been rapidly declining while the prices keep going up. You can expect frequent missed pick-ups with absolutely no credits given for the inconvenience. It's become a running joke in our neighborhood that Waste Connections won't pick up during any type of weather, whether it be sunny, rainy, too cold, or too hot. Despite all of this, the bills just keep increasing.
Waste Connections encourages you to download their app for the latest updates and communication, but let me tell you, this app is incredibly inaccurate and doesn't properly notify you of holiday pick-ups.
On the occasions where I've reported a missed pick-up (which happens often), I've left messages and never received a call back. And when I do manage to get a customer service representative on the phone, they either don't have the answer I'm looking for or give me false promises of picking up the missed recycling, which never happens.
But the final straw came today, on June 24th, when I finally cancelled our service. The representative I spoke with couldn't even tell me when they could come pick up our missed service, and they couldn't even give me the option to speak with a manager. Instead, they agreed to cancel our account but we won't be able to have our bins picked up until September 7th! That's an entirely unacceptable wait time.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against using Waste Connections as your trash company. And if Waste Connections is reading this, I hope they take this feedback into consideration to improve their service and prevent others from having a similar experience to mine.

I sold my business so I called December 26th to cancel service because the new owner is going with another trash company. He tried to use my current trash company but they would not return his calls. I have called 5 times and have been told my rep Damien would call me to cancel the service. I have yet to get a phone call. I called again on Wednesday and Thursday and was told Damien was out that week but they will escalate it to a supervisor. I have not received a call back as of today. I called Friday to make it their last pick up because the new owner has canisters being delivered. I called again today and was told someone will reach out to me and as of 12:45 pm no one has called me. This is very unprofessional and I should not have to wait 6 days to receive a phone call, to me this seems to be a stall tactic in order to charge me for more service days. I need a resolution today!

While the company did start charging me for the additional trash can, their promise to deliver seems to have fallen on deaf ears. The customer care representatives and distribution centers have thus far proven to be unreliable and unhelpful in resolving the issue. I can only hope that management takes charge of the situation and brings the much-needed control to their operations.
It's quite disappointing to see such ineptitude and lack of accountability for a company whose services are meant to make our lives easier. As a concerned customer, I do hope that they'll improve their services and customer experience going forward.

Waste Connections is an online waste management service that claims to provide reliable and convenient pickup and disposal services for your home or business. Unfortunately, our experience with this company has been less than satisfactory.
Several missed pick-up appointments prompted us to cancel our services with Waste Connections. However, to our dismay, we could not reach anyone on the phone to complete the cancellation process. Even our online attempts to cancel seemed to have gone unnoticed.
Despite having no service for two months, we were astonished to receive a bill for the amount of $140.58. It appears that Waste Connections has charged us for services they never even provided. When we finally managed to get someone on the phone, we were told that they would have to investigate to confirm if they had indeed serviced our address. We've put our fingers crossed for a positive resolution, but after speaking to a customer service representative named Randy, our hopes are not high.
Overall, our experience with Waste Connections has been nothing short of terrible. We cannot recommend the service to anyone in good conscience and would strongly advise potential customers to think twice before signing up for their services.
