I first reached out to *** Quick (I think they're the owner of Voodoo Plants) on *** marketplace. We planned to meet up three times for me to buy a sapphire colocasia. But each time, they blew me off. They never let me know about any changes until after we were supposed to meet. The most recent time, I drove across the island to the address they gave me and messaged them beforehand, just like they told me to. But they canceled after I waited in front of some random house for a long time.

I asked a few potential buyers about their experiences with this business, and unsurprisingly, none had anything good to say. You can't leave reviews on *** marketplace, so I went to their Instagram to warn people. Thankfully, I was able to reach a few people. However, when I commented about my expectations and experience with ***, I got some unprofessional Instagram messages with name-calling and disrespect. I made sure to take screenshots and document EVERYTHING. I also have a decent following on Instagram and *** as a professional model/business owner, working with big names like Billabong, Editorial, and PAPER Mag. I hope this helps some people avoid this scam of a business. The theory is that this person wants you to buy from their website so they can steal your money. When you want to buy in person, they cancel and ignore your messages.

I bought 9 plants and a Jade *** seed ($15.85) from VooDoo Plants Hawaii, but they didn't include the seed in my delivery. I spent almost $400 on my order, so this was disappointing. The delivery took longer than expected, which made me quite anxious. I tried emailing them about the missing item, but I didn't receive any response.

One of the plants I received, the Maui Gold Protea ($45), was infested with ants. It was quite bothersome to deal with.

I also noticed that the business is listed as delinquent for Annual Filings on ***. Additionally, it seems that they don't have a GET license as required by *** law.

Overall, my experience with VooDoo Plants Hawaii has been quite frustrating. The missing item, delayed delivery, ant-infested plant, and the lack of response to my email have left me disappointed. It's also concerning to see their business status and potential licensing issues.

I contacted VooDoo Plants Hawaii on March 9th through *** Market Place, where they advertise. We agreed on March 10th to purchase a Bienevue and another purple/pink hibiscus plant for $45 each, with $20 for shipping to Maui. I made the payment through Paypal on March 10th, and Krysten assured me that the plants would be shipped out the following Wednesday, along with a tracking number. However, the plants never arrived, and I never received a tracking number.

I reached out to them again on March 16th, and they said the shipment would be sent out soon. But, unfortunately, there was no sign of any shipment. I contacted them once more on March 22nd, and they assured me that the plants would be shipped out the next day. However, on March 25th, the plants were still nowhere to be found.

At this point, I requested a refund, but Krtysten informed me that they do not offer refunds. They claimed that the plants would be shipped out that day, March 26th. However, I still did not receive a tracking number, despite asking for one. I waited for over 4 hours without any response. I then informed them that if they continued to disregard my concerns, I would have no choice but to file official complaints with the proper authorities. Their response was simply, "Go right ahead."

They then claimed that the plants were sent out the day before and that Krysten was currently at work. They promised to provide a tracking number once she got home. Unfortunately, that was the last I heard from Krysten. The plants never arrived, and I never received a tracking number. It is clear that Krysten was not being truthful. This business is nothing but a complete scam.
