Purchases of canvas prints were paid for and ordered beginning of December for Christmas presents. These were due for delivery 3-5 days later. Over four weeks later nothing has been sent and the c0mpany are not answering calls or returning messages, ignoring emails and text messages. Eventually had text message from owner who on two seperate occasions said the canvases were being sent special delivery that day after waiting in for delivery they did not arrive. They offer special offers on sites such as KGB and Wowcher but do not deliver the goods and ignore all complaints sent. No customer services to contact and owner will only reply to text messages when he feels like it and uses the excuse he is busy! Offers are too good to be true to beware.

I have sent over 70 text messages to him (owner) now, some of which he replies to but others he completely ignores. He told me that he posted them on Tuesday using parcel force 48 hrs delivery but the tracking number he gave is not regognised and he says he can't give me a copy of his receipt as its unreadable! I posted a comment on KGB facebook page and they quickly got in touch with me. This company is still advertising this offer now and they haven't even sorted out the orders from the beginning of December. I to am not giving up, I enter a contract for this product at that price and thats what I want. KGB have offered me a refund however that doesn't cover 2 mornings off work and untold telephone calls. I will keep you posted if I have any luck would be interesting to hear if you do to.

Wow I didn't realise so many people would have responded to my complaint...what a total scammer. I contacted trading standards in Leicester to report this guy. They said that if they had more complaints they would investigate fully so please contact them. Unfortunately I don't have the number in front of me however I will repost it later on today. My concern is that my canvas has a picture of three small children on a beach, he says this has been printed and has been sent...where is it? the parents of the children whom it was a present for are now very concerned it will fall into the wrong hands. Thanks everyone for commenting and hopefully we will save others from losing out to this low life.

I have spoken to KGB recently and directed them to this complaints board. It seems they are having trouble contacting him also and they say they are taking their investigations into him seriously. I have opted for the refund as the two canvas I bought were Christmas presents and I am so embarrashed that they have had to wait for so long I have bought something else instead. KGB also informed me that the only money Vcreates Prints have received is for the actually canvases that have been delivered, they hold back the money until there is proof of them being received. I have also lodged a complaint with Leicester Trading Standards and hope that all this publicity stops this guy cheating others.

I stand by everything I have said in my posts. Mr Cartwright is a liar who promised me on two separate occasions that he had personally taken my canvases to the post office to send by special delivery and that I should wait in the next day (taking two mornings off work) as they would be delivered...they never showed up! The tracking number he gave was false, he made excuse after excuse when I asked him to scan me a copy of the receipt of postage stating that the quality of the paper was poor and he couldnt scan it to me, when I asked him on over 20 separate occasions for an email with the details of where they were posted from he never sent it. I even expressed my concern that the canvas photo was of three small children on a beach and how the children's parents were upset that this photo could fall into the wrong hands as Mr Cartwright had said it was printed, he did not even have the decency to respond to my worries and so I am left with upset parents wanting to know where the picture of their children is. No Mr Cartwright you should be ashamed of YOURSELF...you have left people without Christmas presents, left parents worried about the location of pictures of their children, lost me time off work and cost myself and others money and time chasing you for answers whilst being ignored or fobbed off with lies. Have you ever heard of honest is the best policy, you may not of had so many irate customers if you had at least told the truth.

Hi Vaughan,

In response to your last post,

I do not believe anyone is disputing that some orders were delivered? The issue is the numerous customers who did not get the products they had paid to be delivered for Christmas.

I for one did not receive an email from KGB regarding this deal until I contacted them, hence my previous post, but this not your concern. As far as the deal being a scam, I agree, it isn't, unless you have taken money from people outside a KGB transaction and have not refunded them.

As I said, I for one did not receive an explanatory email.

"Refunds you can get from KGB direct or from us if you have brought direct.Simply email me with the Subject Refund Direct quoting your order number and how you paid and we will ensure you are refunded."

Any reasonable person can see that refund promises from someone who has repeatedly made promises that have not been kept, are not necessarily to be trusted? Why should they be?

Reiterating that KGB customers can have their money back and were not victims of a "scam" does not make up for the fact that people handed over money on the basis something would be delivered before Christmas that wasn't.

It also doesn't compensate for the fact that people had to buy alternative presents, if they had the chance, given that delivery promises were being made right up until Christmas Eve. It doesn't account for embarrassment on Christmas Day when people did not have a gift to show for their efforts. It does not make up for the times when people stayed in to greet non-existent delivery men, the times they spent on the phone being told snow was delaying delivery from the flatlands of Leicester, while parcels were arriving up until the 24th from outside the UK.

Thanks nlambert for posting KGBDeals phone number, Thankfully I didn't actually need it in the end as my email was responded to very promptly.

However I am a bit disappointed that KGB is aware of the problems with this deal and has not been proactive in remedying the issue by contacting the people with outstanding order to offer advice, apologies, a refund...

If KGB releases money to VCreates only when orders have been delivered and scores of people have complained about non-delivery I feel the company should step and contact customers to admit many orders have not been delivered, they are not likely to be delivered, KGB cannot contact the seller themselves etc. rather than just stump up the refund on request.

After reading this board I am somewhat shocked by your comments etc.

However you are entitled to your comments and further more your right to complain, but to slander a person is wrong especially when your saying things that are not true.

Now there have been issues with Customer orders which is has caused delays and issues and certainly not the customer service we wish to offer.

Our delays have now been resolved and things put into place to deal with orders more quickly.

Now in relation to scam and fraud, i can assure you this is not a scam, monies that have been paid to Wowcher or KGB Deals have not been released to me and are not so until the campaign is finished, so we have not taken your money and done a runner as some of you have said in posts etc.

Now KGB DEALS sent out an email before the weekend explaining the situation.

Just had Vaughan call me off of a private number. He also sent me the email which was supposed to have been sent out by KGB? He apologised (again) and said there was no excuse for how things have panned out. I'm currently trying to establish if my order is one of those due to go out by Jan 31st, if so i'll wait but if not or i don't hear back again then i think i'll give up. Funnily enough he only rang back after i text him pointing out what an earlier poster had written re: him being guilty of fraud and commiting a criminal offence!

Has anyone contacted the Leicester Mercury? I know exactly where he lives because I nearly rented a room from him. He took a deposit off me, but when I changed my mind about moving in due to his erratic behaviour and unreliability, he procrastinated in refunding me. I took legal action and now have a CCJ against him. We ALL need to make a concerted effort to turn the screws on this guy.

I hope he is never able to find good work again although he is probably the sort of person who won't get out of bed for less than £200 anyway, what a cowardly idiot. He is an ugly berk 'n' all.

Mr Cartwirght just called me, he belives he does nothing wrong! i got angry... icouldnt help it, he also got angry and kept calling me LADY, then proceeded to ask me my name. He is a complete BEEEEEP, im so cross, i ordered from him on the 25th of november and he cant see why i am angry!
He called me off a new number [protected] if you cant get hold of him try this number, or like other people have suggested send him a nasty text and he will call you right back!

Vaughan Cartwright just called me again. If you text him calling him a liar, thief, scammer, con-man, asking him how he sleeps at night etc., he usually bites. Trouble is, you get into a slanging match after that and he hangs up on you.

I rang Moneybookers. Vaughan Cartwright had given me a fake reference. (Keep typing his name in full, it's good for the search engines.) Moneybookers had no record of his 'refund'. Unfortunately they can't refund me because the money has already been withdrawn. Told me to take it up with my bank.

I'm sick of it but I will not give up.

Well the deadline came and went and he hasn't refunded me via paypal. Claims he is now waiting for a transfer to his paypal account as he couldn't use his card with it (as he has previously told fullcrumb). I asked him how long he expects it to take and he said it should be there "soon". I'm going to continue hassling him every hour til I get my money.

Same boat here - ordered 2 prints on 13th December for Christmas presents. Nothing arrived. Emails and phone calls either ignored or met with standard response. Today I tried texting him directly again since he wouldn't pick up his phone. He replied instantly to inform me that my orders would be with me by the 31st January. Not a chance!
Thing is, I want the prints cos they're special sentimental photos which were supposed to make two people's Christmases extra special. I will seek a refund from KGB if this final deadline passes as I expect. I've told Mr Cartwright I've already taken this futher, and have contacted Watchdog, Consumer Direct and am in the process of contacting Trading Standards for Leicester. Strangely, no reply again!
Please people, keep complaining - keep at him.

V Cartwright is a liar - what kind of person is he? Lies lies and lies. Surely common sense would prevail and he would find a way to get himself out of this mess, he surely cannot be enjoying all the calls, texts, etc but he continues to lie and string everyone along. Absolute madness!
I havent checked my KGB refund but I am confident they will see it through. Hope those of you who have paid Vcreates directly get your money back.

I texted him more this morning and no response. Called more and no answer. Texted him telling him I was coming over to see him in person and he replied instantly.

He claims my paypal refund will be with me within the hour. I don't believe him, but I will let you know how it goes.

Im in the same position - ordered 3 canvas's on 12th december still not arrived. Mr Cartwright ignoring calls, texts, emails and wont respond to my paypal dispute! aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!
Have escalated my dispute to paypal and I have emailed bbc watchdog - http://www.bbc.co.uk/watchdog/gotastory/
Please everyone email watchdog - the more people the more likely they will investigate!
Also does anyone have the details for the local trading standards office for VCREATES?

I also got a refund from KGB today for the 2 canvases I bought through them. Pretty prompt to be fair.

The third canvas, paid directly to Vcreates, is another matter entirely.

Vaughan Cartwright told me he would pay me through Paypal. He said he would do it by 5pm yesterday. That came and went. I had another shouting match with him over the phone and gave him another deadline of last night. That also came and went.

So today I've been texting him. Apparently Paypal wouldn't accept his card and it would take 3 days to do a bank transfer so he's refunding me through Moneybookers, who my payment originally went out to. He has given me a reference number and said it would take 24 hours before being on my card. The next step is to ring Moneybookers and get them to confirm the reference number / transaction. I'm not holding my breath!

I've had that many texts back and forth with Vaughan Cartwright in the last 24 hours that I actually feel like I know him. He's either a compulsive liar or he's just trying to buy time by fobbing me off. It only makes me more determined though. Keep on at him folks!

Hey all I have found a place that does 24 x 20 inch canvas for £19.99. comments on forums is they are good and of course very cheap. but that may take 1 or 2 days longer to deliver something than indicated but always deliver!
Did my research so hopefully wont be disapponted. However, I wont post the link today, I have placed an order for 2 of the canvases and should get them by Tuesday. If I do, I will post the link here for all of you who still need to order a canvas. Fingers crossed :)

This chap has committed fraud in my opinion. I don't think the police would be overly happy with the amount of complainants contacting them though! He has represented a product for sale, taken money for the product without any intention to deliver that product. That is fraud by false representation, it's a criminal offence! I just want a refund personally and that will be the end of it for me... On the other side of the coin I do want the guy stopping from ruining peoples' Christmas next year! I genuinely don't know how anyone with a conscience could do something like this!
