Office Depot

I went to Office Depot in Spokane Valley, WA to print a few resumes prior to some upcoming job interviews. I had a little trouble with their printers, but eventually figured it out. I said "Thanks" to the ladies at the checkout lane, and started walking out of the store.

One of the ladies (named Jessie) must've thought I was outside already because she turned to her coworker (Debbie) and said "That guy seemed kinda RETARDED, didn't he?" They proceeded to laugh afterward.

I stopped for a second because I couldn't believe what I'd just heard, and then I went back to my car out of embarrassment. I can't stand the use of that word, and I wanted to let them know how wrong it was to say that crap about me simply because their printers are kind of intricate.

I went back inside to buy a small bottle of hand sanitizer just to catch a glimpse of their name tags (for this complaint), and I told them how messed up they were for saying that about me. Jessie tried to gaslight me, but I know what I heard and I won't forget it. The customer service I experienced was some of the worst I've ever seen.
