My son and I came in to the restaurant to watch a football game on the TVs and to get dinner/appetizers.

We ordered pretzel bites and discovered the cheese dip was beer cheese dip. I asked for an alternative dip of just cheese and was told it's not available- after I had been told they make the dip and pour the beer in but the alcohol doesn't evaporate. Essentially you'd be serving alcohol to Minors.

I asked couldn't they just make a separate cheese dip for minors and the server said no. I then asked for the server to request a manager to come over so I could make a suggestion.

She came over and first mistook my son for a girl. I asked her if they serve a cheese dip without beer and if they don't why don't they. She said she didn't know and continued to act like it shouldn't matter to me- that's just what the corporate office does.

I found her attitude to be condescending and poor as a manager to not offer an alternative dipping sauce for the pretzels. I also found her demeanor of a fake smile, flippant attitude and lack of customer service skills to be condescending- she needs to have management training or not be the manager on duty.
