On 6/4/2023 around 7:37 pm I walked in the Taco Bell location located on Barry Road in Kansas City, MO. In my opinion my order was simple. (I chose from the veggie lovers menu because I have been vegetarian for 7 years.) I ordered their new promo burrito: Salsa Verde Potato Veggie burrito & an order of Nacho Fries and cheese sauce. After placing my order a gentleman kindly assisted me with paying and offered a free water, I accepted. After waiting for 10 minutes in the lobby, I noticed a staff member whom also noticed me. I could tell he could tell I was irritated as I was 7 minutes away from my job and now had 15 minutes to get back + eat. He gestured to another employee that my order needed to be made. A manager with long red/strawberry blonde hair assisted the employee in making my food. I kindly thanked the staff member that begged my food and left once it was handed to me. After getting to work and waiting until my last break to eat my food (because I spent my lunch break basically waiting on it) I noticed my Vegetarian Burrito was packed with steak. :)
Desired outcome: I would like the employees to be made aware of the experience that I had today because this was a very careless mistake. Especially when there are two people on the line at the same time.
