Romano's Macaroni Grill - Salty food - blood pressure killer

Hello, my name is Marilyn. My sister Emely and I ordered food from your restaurant located at 3207 Buford Drive, Buford GA 30519 on Friday 2/16/2024 at 6:10 pm which were 2 orders of Truffle Mac & Cheese. One with chicken, the other one with shrimp and sausage. The name given for the order was Marilyn, my sister Emely paid for our dinner that night. We both picked up the food at 7:19 pm. When I got home in Grayson GA which is about 25 minutes away from Macaroni Grill in Buford I noticed my chicken was so salty therefore I was unable to eat my food. My sisters plate was the one with the shrimp and sausage, the sausage was ok however the shrimp was salty as well. I am not talking about a little extra salt, I am referring to tons of salt. I called your restaurant and explained the situation to a Manager called Rafael whom apologized and offered to replace my food. I told him I may not be able to pick up the food that weekend but I will call the restaurant when I’m in the area to get my replacemenr food. I hung up but then missed a call from your restaurant at 7:45 pm, I immediately called back and explain to the girl that answered that someone called me from the restaurant. She then asked me if I knew what they may be calling for. I said yes and again explained the situation regarding the salty food, she placed me on hold and then the General Manager answered, her name is Pat Johnson. She asked me to explain what happened and I told her that I had already spoken to a manager named Rafael and explained to her the situation regarding the salty food. Pat apologized and offered to replace my food just like Rafael did. I then tell her that I may not be able to get the food that weekend because I live in Grayson GA but I will call them once I’m in the area again to reorder my food. Today February 22, 2024 I decided to head to Buford GA and remembered the food they offered to replace therefore I called your restaurant at 3:19 pm and a young lady answered. I told her I was calling to place a replacement order due to the salty food situation on 2/16/2024. She asked if I spoke to anyone about it and I said yes, I spoke to a manager names Rafael and a General Manager names Pat Johnson. She placed me on a brief hold and puts Pat on the phone. I then proceed to explaining to Pat that I’m the lady that they sold the salty food to whom she spoke to on 2/16/2024. Pat said she does not remember talking to me however she remembers something about a customer complaining about too much salt on the food and that she was going to make an exception and replace the food. Pat said that in situations like that she writes down the customer name and phone number and that she did not have my information nowhere. I said, ma’am you called my phone on 2/16/2024 right after I spoke to Rafael so you must have gotten my number from somewhere. She then places my order (I provided my sisters name and phone number for the order since she originally paid for the food on 2/16) and I arrive to the restaurant about 15 minutes later. I went to the pick area and explained once again to the waiter that I had spoken to Pat on the phone and that I was picking up my order of 2 Truffle Mac & Cheese. Pat Johnson comes to the counter and again starts telling me in front of about 3 employees and other people that she did not speak to me on 2/16/2024 and that she writes down peoples names and number etc. I then tell her ma’am I spoke to Rafael, then I missed your call therefore you called me so you have my number. I then tell her once again that I spoke to her that night and that I have records of the calls and duration of the calls. She brings out a paper and says that she pulled records of a Marilyn ordering food, not Emely and that the phone number I provided to her for the replacement order was different. I told her that Emely is my sister, I am Marilyn. I provided my sisters phone number because she was the one whom paid for the food on 2/16/2024. She then reiterates this is an exception she’s doing for me although she knows she did not speak to me. At this point she’s not even mentioning that she recalls a situation with a customer complaining about salty food on 2/16/2024 and I did not want to continue the back and forth because Pat Johnson was humiliating in me in front of employees etc. She said that next time I have to make sure the person jots down my information because she did not jot it down. When I spoke to Pat Johnson and Rafael on 2/16/2024 I made sure I asked for their names and titles because it was my duty therefore I did my part as a customer. I cannot and should be blamed for Pat’s lack of responsibility as a Manager. It was her responsibility to write down my name and phone number. I feel extremely humiliated and horrible. She made me look like a liar while everyone was watching and due to that I will never be able to enter your restaurants again. Pat was unprofessional! I have no need to call your restaurant and lie to you. I have proof of everything that happened on 2/16/2024. In addition, Rafael spoke to me. Pull up your call records. Question Raphael too. Was Pat Johnson drunk etc on 2/16/2024, does she drink etc on the job? Thats the only reasonable explanation to this. In conclusion, I threw out the replaced food because Pat Johnson made me feel so bad that I was afraid she did something to my food. I have never ever been humiliated like this before. I will take this horrible experience with me and let all social media platforms know not to step into that restaurant. I need someone to look into this urgently. Pat Johnson is an evil and devious person. She literally put me through hell for salty food they sold to me. This is so unfair. Macaroni Grill need to hire good people, my voice will be heard out here.

P.S. If your calls are recorded, they need to be reviewed asap. Please let me know if you need my phone records etc. Thank you!

Claimed loss: Lost my money, my gas, my efforts etc

Desired outcome: I want an apology, I am very disappointed
