Unprofessional and disrespect
This past Sunday March 16th, 2025 I attended a pre-arranged luncheon that my brother arranged beforehand with your manager at the Macaroni Grill here in Harrisburg Pa of which the menu consisted of two salads and five entrees to choose from. We arrived and was seated at 12:45 for our luncheon and was told by the waitress Gabby that she was the only person to take care of our party which consisted of approximately 30-40 people. The drink orders were taken around 1:00 p.m. and then Gabby came back delivered all of the drinks and took our salad orders of which they were delivered completely by 2:15 p.m. Then Gabby proceed to take all of the parties meals orders and delivery of meals started with the pasta Malono, then truffle macaroni, then the spaghetti and meat balls and the last meals to come out was the, chicken parmesan and by the time this was received by the last folks it was 3:20 p.m. so everyone who ordered such packed up their food to take it home because everyone else was finished with dinner and asked for their bills. Well in the process of this two and half our waiting period people did not get drinks as ordered, people asked for bread and that was not received and then upon me receiving my meal and even when my brother who arranged the luncheon asked where his food was, Gabby told him, he'll have to wait, its coming. Now for my meal, which was the chicken parmesan, I asked when I placed my order that I receive for sauce for my spaghetti because it usually comes dry, well when I received my meal at 3:20 p.m. I did not get the sauce, of which by this time I asked for the manager to come to my table where I was seated with my mom and neice. A manager Larisa came, and I explained the extra/extremely long wait for entire party, the fact that one's requested items, not received and that it was now 3:20 and I was not going to be able to enjoy my food because everyone except the last group was done n waiting on checks. Well Gabby the waitress came over, snatched the receipts out of the managers, Larisa hand and said I am going to fix these [censored]ing receipts. I looked in dismay and then said, excuse you, all the while Larisa just stood there as I then said this is awful customer service and unacceptable using foul language at a customer. Larisa, said I'll talk to her and then asked me if there is anything else I needed. I asked for a bag for my to go box. When she brought the bag, I asked for her name, the district manager name, etc. because the fact that a waitress who I here to provide a service, no matter how busy a restaurant every gets, in no way should every disrespect a customer and you as the manager allowed such to happen and neither apologized. Well Larisa said cooperate will call us about this and walked away.
Well about 10 minutes later a manager name Jordan walked out and said I heard there was a problem. I proceed to tell him about the action of the waitress Gabby and Larisa and of which he was uphauled and said that should have never happened and I am sorry you were treated this way. I told him thank you and I would he contacting someone higher up about
This luncheon was pre-arranged well in advance, and the restaurant should have been prepared for such large group. So why was it that Gabby was the only server? I think that sitting from 12:45 p.m. - 3:20 p.m. to get dinner was just unacceptable and then on top of such there was a 20 percent tip added on everyone's bill for the service. Now considering how I was disrespected, she absolutely did not deserve my money but had no choice in the matter since such was already on my bill.
To be perfectly frank, our party spent no less than $500.00 yesterday in Macaroni Grill and feel that I would never return to this restaurant, nor recommend this restaurant, not because the food was not good, but because of the disrespect / lack of good customer service by Gabby and the lack of manager Larisa handling of the matter.
Recommendation: Please do not eat at Hbg Pa Location.

I was given a gift card early in 2023 after I had an accident where I broke my ankle. I finally got out to a Macaroni Grill in Virginia this past Saturday, December 30th, and when I went there, they told me I would be unable to use the gift card, even though the card I got clearly said I could print out what I had and present it as a gift card (I had a pin...

to guestrelations
Hello,
Upon googling your corporate office phone number, I called 281.367.3773 on Tuesday July 18th 2023, and left a message with the manager who answered the phone but I have not yet received a call back from corporate guest relations.
I moved to the area seven months ago and have dined at the Macaroni Grill in Corona on about five occasions. Each time, there is no one to greet customers or seat them, so I just go into the bar.
July 17th, I ordered the Mama Trio dish that includes: Parmesan Chicken, Lasagna, Fettuccine Alfredo. The first portion that I tasted was the Lasagna and I kept with eating it in its entirety. Then I cut into the chicken and took a bite to eat but it was full of gristle. I found the fettucini salty and undercooked. I asked the waiter to please send the dish back. The waiter came back indicating that the manager would discount the dish 50%. I articulated my being now a regular customer and that I wish this entree to be removed from my tab. I also had ordered a glass of wine and was planning to order a second glass. The server came back and said no, you must pay the tab. I further asked that I only be charged 1/3 for the entree since I ate only 1/3 of the dish. The server came back and said the manager said no. I asked to speak to the manager. The server said the manager was busy. So I paid for the dish and wine and left.
Normally my tab at the Macaroni Grill will run about $50.00 - $60.00 as I order the salmon, shrimp and wine.
Additionally, Iv noticed people waiting to be seated but no staff helps the potential customers.. People have waited 20-30 minutes and then have left. The restaurant is often close to being empty even at rush time hours. The front door windows look as though they have not been wiped down or cleaned in months. I had to reach up high to open the door because I didn't want to touch it. Also the glasses are filmy and not clean. There has been lipstick on a glass that was served to me that was not my own.
The manager at this location is not doing their job. Management and servers don't care. I can hear the girls in the back socializing and customers are not their priority. Then when the servers are at the bar, they openly gossip about customers past and present for all to hear.
I have been trying to obtain a resolution since July. Marisol at the Corona California location would not come out to discuss and meet with me in the restaurant to discuss the matter. The Texas location tried to resolve the matter but Marisol, offered me a $30 gift card that is not acceptable. I paid for a meal that I did not consume.
Sincerely,
Tonna Bowen

Desired outcome: I paid for a meal that I did not consume yet still was made to pay for, I request a $95 gift card to your restaurant. Marisol at the Corona Crossings Restaurant should be ashamed of herself!

Read full review of Romano's Macaroni GrillIncorrect order, 30 minute late pickup, moldy and spoiled food received
On Saturday, 3 November 2022, I placed an order at the Macaroni Grille in Round Rock, Texas. I ordered: Truffle Macaroni, Truffle Fries , Pasta Milano, Pick 2 Apps which were bruschetta and fried mozzarella, Kids meal Alfredo and Ravioli, 3 Loaves of rustic bread, which was to be picked up at 8:30 p.m. I arrived at 8:28 p.m. and called to let them know that I had arrived, and that I was in slot 3. I was told that, "they were bagging my order right now," and that it should be out in less than a minute. At 8:47 p.m., I went inside and asked about my order. I was directed to the bar where they told me that my order would be out, "in just a few minutes," and that thy were frying up the fries. I went back outside, and waited patiently for my food. At 8:55 p.m., I called and asked to speak to a manager, I was placed on hold and then a manager came on and told me that, " a lot of orders came in," and that my order would be out in a minute. (No apology, no asking for understanding, just basically telling me that I was going to get my food whenever they decided to give it to me.) The manager finally came out at 8:59 asked if I was my name, put the food in my window and left, almost causing me to drop the food. All of this was frustrating and unacceptable, but the condition of the food was what really caused issue. I was missing the Fried Mozzarella from my order, The kids pasta had no sauce on it, the macaroni had the incorrect noodles and tasted off, the bruschetta was warm and mushy instead of cold and refreshing (A clear sign of how long it had been sitting at room temperature), the drinks were wrong, all of the food was stone cold unappetizing and inedible, but none of that was the worst part. I received spoiled Olive oil and Moldy cheese! A kitchen that is that careless can not be trusted, and frankly is probably in violation of many health codes. Not only was the food of poor quality, it probably was unsafe and unsanitary to eat. We had to go and spend another $73 on food after this. This was a horrific experience all of the way around. I paid $69 for food that I couldn't even eat. I tried to call back and request a refund but I was put on hold and they never answered again. I called again on Sunday, 4 November 2022, and I got the same response. A refund is not only appropriate, but warranted. If you want delicious food, amazing service, and a good experience, then do not go here.
Desired outcome: A refund for the time wasted, and the food that we didn't even get to eat. Not to mention the food we had to buy afterwards because the food was inedible.
Delivery from restaurant (102 E Winchester St., SLC, UT) to home in Draper, UT
I'm actually complaining about the delivery of an order. I ordered online (and have been for years) to have it delivered to my home from the Macaroni Grill located at 102 E Winchester St., Salt Lake City, UT 84107. It was perfect during the pandemic. Just recently, we never received our order. The text I received said it had been delivered by I never saw it. It was either delivered to someone else or the driver decided to keep the order. I called Romano's Macaroni Grill to let them know and they informed me that once it leaves their restaurant, they have nothing to do with it. I requested a refund, and they replied I would have to get the refund from Uber Eats. I called Uber Eats and they said I would have to get the refund from the restaurant. My charge went through from Romano's Macaroni Grill. Called the restaurant back and they were very rude. Now I'm out $65 for a meal. Guess I won't be ordering from them again. Like their food so I don't mind going to the restaurant.
Desired outcome: A refund of what I paid the restaurant.
The building is leaking really bad!
Myself and my family came in to eat tonight 09/15/22. It started to storm outside but inside the restaurant there were leaks in most of the restaurant! I went to use the rest room and almost slipped from all the water dripping from the leaks onto the tile floor. My husband said the dry wall in the restroom felt like it was going to fall in on him! It’s not safe!

I have been trying to order Feast For Five for $30 from the Macaronni Grill in El Cerrito Ca. Everytime I am ready to place the order I get the message "invalidated basket". I have ordered before the same thing with no problems at all. Now, it has been the same problem in two different days! I think it is a shame to offer something you don't really have!
Desired outcome: Correct the mistake so we can order online of course! Otherwise you are a fraud!
Shrimp Portifino
I dined at your Round Rock location last night, 6/10/22. I ordered my fav dish, Shrimp Portofino. It was so bad. The pasta is way over cooked and mushy. There was no flavor in this meal whatsoever. When you opened your location in North Austin, so many years ago, this meal used to be so good. Very flavorful. Pasta was never overcooked. I guess you guys stopped putting Pine Nuts in the dish, cuz I didn’t have any of those. Very disappointing. The one good thing about this meal was our server, Star. She was so attentive and sweet and bubbly. She was awesome. Was really the only reason I didn’t complain last night.
Macaroni Grill Food and $2 Inflation Fee
The experience was a negative 10. The food was disgusting. The order was made incorrectly twice. I ordered a side of truffle fries that took 45 minutes to arrive: possibly being imported from Italy. The shift lead was extremely rude and did not apologize for any error. The $2 Inflation Charge was ridiculous and not on the menu. This was the worst dining experience. I will never dine here again and this location was the worst.
Desired outcome: 100% refund

Hidden "Temporary Inflation Fee" when bill is presented
Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice, shame on me! I stopped visiting Macaroni Grill (Winter Garden) a few months ago due to bad service! So I figured I'd try it again after a few months. My family and I visited the Lake Buena Vista location, ordered our meals and at the end was greeted with a $2.00 Temporary Inflation Fee to my order. I was not informed that a "stupid" charge was going to be added to my bill. If I knew that I would have not stayed. I am requesting my $2.00 back in the form of a check, not coupons. After consulting my family, we all agreed we would never patronage your restaurants again. It's bad business period. Not only did you lose a customer but it forced me to under tip your wait staff. So, now you're affecting both a customer and your employees. The restaurant business has always been a struggling business in general and no wonder it is after the brain power that thought that squeezing customers with a ridiculous fee was a smart idea. Hey, Einsteins just raise your prices. At least that's not insulting and the consumer is aware of what they're paying.
Desired outcome: Mail me back my $2.00 in a form of a check, not coupons. Will never visit your restaurant again. And, believe me I will not encourage anyone to patronage any of your locations and other restaurants.
Food Order was spoiled
I visited Macaroni Grill yesterday evening for dinner on October 14, 2021, and I am sad to say I was quite disappointed in my meal. I ordered a seafood ravioli and not only did my order arrive super fast which leaves me to suspect if it was truly prepared with quality and care, especially, for the price I paid! But the meal also appeared spoiled! There was a slimy film on the pasta and a sour taste. In addition, I put the platter close to my nose to give it a quick whiff, and it smelled similar to spoiled milk-ICk! The food and sauce also had bubbles similar to the ones seen when a food item has recently become spoiled. I am not sure as to why someone decided to give me a spoiled platter of food after I paid the restaurant money in good faith consciously thinking I was going to enjoy a nice meal. Instead, I was disappointed, felt ill and overall disgusted with the whole experience.
Desired outcome: Refund or FRESH Meal re-prepared from restaurant or Gift Card
I’m composing about the quality of the food
The fettuccine didn't have enough sauce and the chicken wasn't grille. The salad had to many hard pieces of lettuce and the chicken wasn't grilled either. Not enough sauce on the spaghetti either. Overall the food wasn't worth the price. No one was satisfied with either meal.
