I opened an account with US bank. I then received a letter from the regulatory research dept. at US informing of a problem with my name/ssn combination. Enclosed was a substitute W-9 form advising if US bank did not receive the requested info from me within 30 days they would begin deducting 24% backup withholding from my survivor pension. I did not comply. They sent products with an alias name on them. Credit view status unidentifiable. Especially made debit card deductions of 10$ per ATM transaction, miss printed checks could not use the product due to alias. Posting credit card payments late. Leaving payment in account after supposed withdrawal to hold for merchant then suddenly deducting payment days later from posting available balance. Dual checking account to incur double negative account status for the purpose of negative credit reporting. Refusal to except bill pay check to cure negative balance. Check never cashed payment stopped. Rude CSR service on scheduled appointment to discuss issues with debit cards, checks and over all online banking service. Kicked off site in the middle of transactions.

The bank has caused me extreme stress and is planning on causing more to report and stress credit worthiness. Constant credit checks and false reporting with credit file security freezes and fraud alerts in place for over 6 months.

Claimed loss: Loss of eligibility and consideration for housing assistance and credit application denials. Loss of sense of security that money deposited into pension account is being monitored and hacked for the purpose of financial stress.

Desired outcome: I want to file a complaint/claim against US bank for vicious financial abuse for the purpose of negative reporting/credit report stress and damage using dual account.
