I locked myself out of my account do to fact l forget my password. Customer service rep has not clue on how to help and l am left unsure if this app is free or not since their rep has no idea either.

There is no way to reset password and their customer service rep can not help

When it works it’s great, but the app is hit or miss whether it will even open. I haven’t been able to open it at all today and I can’t even see what’s on my schedule much less schedule new appointments or get any customer info. It’s really starting to make me rethink having it.

Does not work ... period
This company is a fraud and I think the FCC needs to get involved and shut this company down. They charge you and will tell you that they are not able to cancel and they have no authority to cancel. This is definitely a fraudulent company with a lousy software.

The overall software is good. Still missing come crucial features. The app constantly needs to be restarted and desperately needs an update which apparently hasn’t been done in over a year. The developers need to work on this ASAP especially since this is one of the most expensive scheduling tools out there.

It simply don’t work as advertised. They secretly lock you in a 1 year contract with NO option for a buy out. They don’t return calls or respond to emails. Everything is done through a third party. There is no option for QuickBooks sync, let’s not even talk about credit card payments. THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCAM EVER.

I like the app but have had to delete and re-download 4 times and I’ve only been using it for 4 months. And of course it happens when I really need it to work because I don’t have access to my computer. But generally speaking, I really appreciate this app and it makes it convenient and easy to communicate with clients on the go.

Do not use this app unless you want to be ripped off the salesperson made false claims about no credit card fees the app is hard to navigate and isn’t adequate for service detail information for customers I was charged twice for one month then when I made a dispute they said the other charge was for the previous month straight trash!

I have the app on my phone and absolutely love the connivence of taking payments and staying connected with my clients while I’m on the go. Unlike most apps that have restrictions from the desk top version, thryv allows you to do all the same things from your smart Phone, including sending out email and text campaigns. I couldn’t be more happier with my decision!

Best CRM software out there to run my business from palm of my hand & automate all my client communication & social posting. 1 place & dashboard to manage it all - even my review management. Easy invoicing has made getting paid faster & easier. The email & text campaigns are awesome. Online scheduling & auto text reminders has made my life so much easier. 1 stop shop software to run your business.

This app would be great for some business but for a service industry with custom product it is not working. I duplicate entries, can’t edit items I have sold in the past to save myself time and when I try to take a payment in person it fails for not having a zip code, which isn’t annoying asked question or editable field. I can’t upload documents to save input. God forbid you try to get detail on your billing or edit the payment information. Don’t waste your money folks.

I wish it had the ability to book multiple services for one client. I’ve used gloss genius in the past and it is so much more user friendly IMO. I’m still waiting on them to help me fix my card reader problem. It will not stay connected and of course when it does they can’t leave a tip that way. I feel like this app would be great for an office setting where you just book meetings. I don’t feel it is geared toward the beauty industry at all. Here is to hoping it gets better.

No matter how many times we’re told “the next update” will solve all the problems with this app, it never fails to disappoint — and it’s cost a lot more than the initial agreement. It’s caused our business countless hours in trying to correct errors and make workarounds to get payment from customers. It’s truly been an embarrassment to explain why we can’t perform usual and customary transactions.
I think it’ll be GREAT *sometime in the future, but as for now, we can’t recommend any business adopt it.

App was great for essentials before the update but now it has become something that has more functions, sleeker appearance and better user experience for my clients and their customers. I’ve been using my desktop version way more recently because there are way more options and navigation is way easier. Great job Thryv.

Note:
The integration function is sweet since you can auto integrate all gmail quick books and calendars into one calendar that way no schedule is missing and avoids overlap. From what I understand the customer contact list is integrated the same but haven’t done it yet.

I really love the customer service and love my representative. I’m only writing this review in hopes the company itself sees it and takes action.

The mobile app is terrible. It doesn’t even fit into the iPhone. It’s not accessible or even usable when trying to schedule. The calendar is completely messed up and there’s a plethora of bugs that absolutely need to be fix. It’s now become a hindrance to my business rather than help. The mobile app side of things needs to rectified immediately to keep my business. But other than this everything else is fantastic. But this is clearly a huge issue.

Onboarding they have all kinds of amazing support & customer service. After months of paying over $200/month, we just never used it. Didn’t fit our needs, nothing against them…UNTIL I tried to then cancel! Ridiculous…left only to believe it’s intentional to prevent ppl canceling their subscription? CS has confirmed multiple times there is ZERO options to cancel yourself. You must call CS & be connected to a very specific person that’s never actually there in my experience. They’ll “call you back”. Problem is if you aren’t able to be 100% available to answer when they call (like being at work) the process starts all over again & the auto payments continue.

Horrible business ethics & in my experience quite sketchy.

I save time (and headaches) working with just one company. I save money because so many features I need are bundled inside the software verses buying from different sales people or different companies. It is as user friendly as it gets, even for us older folks who are not as tech savvy. The fact that there’s always support to help me 24/7 and that whatever I do just takes seconds is a huge plus. But the biggest benefit is I can do this all from my cell phone! If you work in the field or on the road this is the best solution hands down! If you don’t have time to do all the things running a business takes, this software simplifies it so you can! And I thought the price was ridiculously low for all that is included, compared to other software out there. Thank you Thryv!

I really love the client software but their billing needs lots of work. I have had so many glitches with their billing, It’s insane. I’ve been with them just over a year now and if I didn’t love the business software and how it works great with my company needs I would’ve dropped them a long time ago. I’ve literally had my account randomly cancelled when I made a change to the billing and they’ve had to reinstate it with of course changed the billing date and you can see where I’m going with this….I’ve changed my rate plan but have gotten no change in the price or refund/charge to process as they make the change. My most recent headache is when they handle your webpage they charge a ridiculous $99/month to do so. I’m a tiny business and that is a lot esp when I get most of my hits off google. I’ve recently asked them to cancel that portion of my bill and they then they came back to ask if I kept it with them and they didn’t charge me for the next six months with that be OK which I agreed to. Of course I haven’t seen the refund for the charge they already took for it this month though. Lastly their email correspondence with support isn’t overly reliable. It seem the only way I get a good answer is to call. On that support side though, when I talk to someone re tech issues they are wonderful. Great at teaching you how to use it. For that reason and the ease of the app is the only reason I have stayed with them. They have the potential to be a great company tool, if only they were better on billing & support.

Downloaded the app and it doesn’t give me the option to create an account. Waste of my time. Next!

Dont use on iPad is all I have to say, screen clitches and won’t respond... not to good when you have a tight deadline

The app crashes every 5 minutes requiring me to sign back in. If these glitchy issues aren’t fixed soon I will take my business elsewhere.

They said it would work for us charged us $1,000.00 took so many precious hours away only to be told it won’t work for us. They posted pictures with incorrect grammar ugh they robbed us of our money and time and won’t refund us as we didn’t get anything in return

It would be amazing if someone could figure out how to get the app to load consistently without having to restart it every time!

Not sure why, but when I try to open the app it crashes or doesn’t want to open. I have uninstalled and installed it for the 6th time now please fix. iPhone 6S.

Every week Thryv is down. Both browser and app. We can’t work like this! When it works it’s great but it’s constantly down. We cannot log on and I have clients trying to make payments! So frustrating. Get it together.

I used the service for a year and it was great. I’ve been trying to cancel for 3 months and you can’t cancel online, I’ve sent multiple emails and they keep charging me. Be careful because they will steal your money!

Unprofessional. Extremely hard to communicate with, especially after “honeymoon stage”. Worst thing of all they took my company website made some improvements. Once I no longer one of their service they wanted to return to me an empty URL!
