My grandson was over the moon when he got his present from his grandparents. They got him a leatherman wave with his name engraved on it from SwissKnifeShop. It was a real treat to see the joy on his face. Our family is a big fan of leatherman waves. All three of our sons have one, and even Grandpa has one too! So it was only natural that our grandson wanted one too. These knives are top-notch quality and with proper care, they can last a lifetime. I got a bunch of Swiss Army Knives and they all do their job pretty well. But I reckon the Ranger is the best one for me. It's a bit thicker than the Huntsman and the Fieldmaster, but it's got a metal file and saw that those other ones don't have. Plus, it's got a chisel on the backside, which is pretty sweet. The Ranger's got five layers, just like the Deluxe Tinker, but it's a bit lighter.

At the end of the day, it all depends on what you need. I carry the Small Tinker with me all the time - it's a great little tool. But when I'm heading out into the woods or the yard or wherever, I grab the Ranger and stick it in its leather pouch on my belt. You never know what you might need out there, so it's good to be prepared.

It took them a whole 10 days just to ship the knives, and once they finally did, the package just sat in their local post office for a whole week without moving. This has caused me a lot of frustration and disappointment, as now I won't have any gifts for two of my family members. I really don't recommend buying from this shop, as they don't seem to be very effective or timely in their operations.
