I got this app about 15 months ago on my Mac. Since that time, the developer has faithfully been updating this suite to become more and more powerful.

I also really appreciate how responsive he is to his customers.

This app stinks! It's database is unstable. It has problems entering symbols; it duplicates symbols, it a pain in the A. I reinstalled several times, same problems. Definitely not worth $10. As been already said, keep you money.

It’s a terrific app but if your connection is erratic, it will display old values and you have absolutely no idea whether the quotes are accurate.

This app needs to show the date and time as it refreshes so you know the data is accurate.

This is a pretty good stock app, with only one major flaw…

That being both the App's icon and UI are ugly… The same holds true for the iPad & iPhone apps…

This is my primary Stock app, but I really wish they would redo the overall appearnece to be more pleasing to the eye...

This is still the best stock app on the App Store, but you guys need to update it again. I'm not experiencing any crashes like others, but it does pop up a notification to update it every time I open it even though there is no update available. It's kind of annoying, please fix it.

Nothing special about this app over many other free or other tools I already have.

I bought is based on an article, and the large number of 5 stars, but my bad for not digging deeper. Definitely one of those I regret and wish refunds were available. Again, don't wast your money.

I am appreciative of the application as it offers a simple quick view. Although it has major flaws such as taking minutes to update prices, freezing and crashing; it is incredibly useful when it decides to work. Detailed graphs with larger time spans would also be helpful. Worth about $2.99, not $9.99.

I’ve been contacting support to tell them of my issue and I get no response. When news loads for a ticker, instead of being news for that ticket I get dozens of news items on other tickers. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that didn’t help. Nor did emailing support - 2 emails with no reply a week later.

Please, don't let the price tag steer you away. This app (along with the stock spy Mac app) is one of the best tools I have in trading. It gives quick notifications and a very nice interface.
I don't know why no one else has written another review on this app. There is nothing even remotely close to how helpful this app is.

This is a perhaps the most significant app you can have if you are in a position, because it produces current information on that position as easily as one can imagine. If you are a beginner, this app could save you some real money. Of course it is great for research, but it's when you are in that it becomes really valuable.

Very good but has room for improvement. It offers little opportunity for customization. Graphs are for today only, so one must go to another app to get a sense of how a stock is performing over time.
All in all though, a very useful app that is worth the money for keeping you up on the latest news on your stocks. Any future improvements are appreciated...

I've very happy with this app. It does a very good job of finding news and articles on the USA stocks I follow.
Wish it would also access the corporate web sites of the actual companies and look for breaking news, like conference call & dividend announcements. This is all public info and should be findable. Other than that, I really like this app and recommend it.

Associating multiple news sources for related tickers is fantastic. It would be nice to be able to list tickers by personal preference. Options to view longer and shorter term trends on the chart would be useful. Instructions on your website for things like ticker specific instructions would be helpful. I cannot get the DJI to show up with a chart view above the RSS feeds. Looking forward to future updates. Great app that pays for itself after one good trade!

This is a great App for the 3rd Generation IPOD Touch.

If it had real-time stock quotes, it would be absolutely fantastic.

Also, it would be great if it could have a toggle switch setting to be able to choose between displaying the stocks alphabetically and also displaying groups of stocks with gains & stocks with losses so that they are easily identifiable in groups.

In addition, it would be wonderful if we could have 2 stock portfolio lists, (one for our actual portfolio and another as a watch list).

It is, however, most wonderful in gathering and displaying news from different sources for each stock.

Lately, though, I have been having some problems with it updating the correct stock prices, but it is probably due to my IPOD Touch being overpacked with stuff.

The Good:
-Scans the recent news.
-Provides key data on the watch list.
Okay chart for a quick look.
-There isn't much out there provides this functionality! It keeps you up to date on your portfolio.

The Bad:
-Not very customizable - provides no memory of your read articles or last scan. It should give you some of the functionality of a good rss readers.
-Chart function is very basic, but that's not really the point of this app.
-Scans can be slow... Load times can be slow.

Take Away: The app is great at keeping you up to date on your stocks and watchlists. It performs that function well. Some of the load time issues could be the fault of the carrier or Apple's web browser. It is worth the money for serious investors on the go and strapped for time. Hopefully they will continue to provide updates and make this the killer app for investors.

I want my money back… totally pointless. Not even accurate

I paid $10 for this piece of junk and the graphs close for no reason, extremely annoyed

What gives?

It's buggy, irksome, and refresh is not reliable. It's definitely not worth the asking price, it's the kind of app that makes me wish the app store had a 24h refund policy.

I bought it with the hope of uncovering more news than the stock app that came with the iPhone. It does not capture any more news or events about your stock so this to me was a waste of 10 bux
