Originally contacted Solar Appliances to repair Maytag dryer June which was under warranty and paid for the part costing almost $300. The same part serviceman replaced broke less than 9 months later and was charged over $200 for labor! When I questioned the representative regarding the excessive amount, I was informed each part has a specific labor charge attached to it. Sounds absolutely ludicrous to me. Notified the manufacturer not to utilize this company for future repairs.

This company has been out three times to repair my dishwasher which is under warranty. Still not working. They stated that they needed to order different parts each time out and that would finally fix the unit. They set up an appointment for Wednesday, June 17 to come out to install the new parts. Yesterday, they informed me that they would be out today, June 16 between 3 and 6pm. To accommodate them...and because we have been without a dishwasher for three months...I cancelled an important Dr's appointment to be here for that time. They did not show up, and did not call me to explain. This has inconvienced me greatly. Awful service !

I hade repair work done on my refrigerator ice maker in top freezer, thr Technician has came on two different calls, every time there is another problem.I have spent a total of about $ 600.00 on this repair. The refrigerator ice maker, is still not making ice. I called them back out again for them to tell me that freezer temp is not dropping lower to make ice, The technician for price tag of about $ 500.00. I thank this pure case of missing leading a customer
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
To whom it may concern:
We initially had service requested from this customer on 1/6/20 for a complaint of ice maker not making ice. Our technician went out and diagnosed the ice makers fan as the issue causing the ice maker to not produce ice (1/9/20). Our technician returned to the customers home (1/16/20) to install the ice maker fan and tested all ice maker functions which all checked properly and the unit began to produce ice. The unit worked and produced ice for a week and a half at which time the customer called back (1/29/20) stating that again the unit was not successfully producing ice. We had our technician return to the home at no charge to the customer, and contact Frigidaire due to ice formation around the fan that was installed two weeks prior. The manufacturer advised our technician that, in fact, there was a manufacturer recall for an update to the air handler housing. The part was sent to the customer and installed for him.
The unit has been working successfully until the customer contacted our office again almost 2 months later on 3/25/20. He stated his ice maker was not producing ice, after having worked for two months. Again, at no charge to the customer, we sent our technician to the home to diagnose what could be now going on with the unit. On inspection, our technician did find that the unit does now have an additional problems unrelated to the ice maker or fan assembly that has been replaced for the customer ( all ice maker functions were and are working properly). The temperature of the unit will not allow the ice maker to produce ice as it is not cold enough to engage the ice maker in this process. Again, this is a new and separate issue from what was correctly diagnosed on both prior trips.
Our technician advised the customer that in order for the unit to cool properly and get its temperature below the required temperature to successfully cycle the ice maker, the main control board in the unit would need to be replaced. The customer advised our technician that he wished to contact Frigidaire in regards to this issue. While we understand the customers frustration with having separate issues with the unit within a few months of each other, our technicians have correctly diagnosed the problem. We can only warrant the work that we have performed, however, we cannot guarantee the entire appliance will not have other unrelated service issues, nor when they can possibly arise.
We are sorry that the customer has developed another service issue with his product, however, we can only advise the customer of our findings, and the decision to proceed is up to the customer.
