So, I recently bought a screen and a body from Retro Game Repair Shop (retrogamerepairshop.com). I gotta say, I was a bit skeptical about their shipping rates. They told me it would cost 60 bucks Canadian for 10 to 14 days of shipping. I mean, come on, that just doesn't seem right. How can USPS have priority international rates into Canada for that amount? It just doesn't add up. I smell some sub and surcharges that these companies like to hide away.

But, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and went ahead with the purchase. And you know what? The items arrived on time and in great condition. I was pleasantly surprised. The screen and body were exactly what I was looking for and worked perfectly.

Now, I know some people might be hesitant to trust this shop because of the shipping rates, but I think it's worth giving them a chance. They have a great selection of retro gaming items and their prices are pretty reasonable. Plus, their customer service is top-notch. They were always quick to respond to my questions and concerns.

Overall, I had a great experience with Retro Game Repair Shop and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for retro gaming items. Don't let the shipping rates scare you away, they're legit.

This Retro Game Repair Shop is pretty cool, I gotta say. They're pretty fast when it comes to answering questions about buying stuff. But, let me tell you, if you got any problems with your order or try to cancel it before it ships, it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack to get ahold of them. I tried messaging them on Instagram too, but it's like they only respond to people who want to buy stuff. If you got an issue, they'll just ghost you. It's a bummer, man.

So, I was on the hunt for a particular item and decided to message a few sellers on ebay. One of them was the "Retro Game Repair Shop" and let me tell you, they have a lot of negative and neutral reviews. But, I also messaged "8-bit-item-shop" and a brand new seller called "smartseller42". All of my emails were answered by a guy named "JP" at the "Retro Game Repair Shop".

Now, it seems like "Retro Game Repair Shop" is trying to improve their reputation, but if you take a look at the reviews for "smartseller42" and "8-bit-item-shop", you'll see that "JP" can't seem to shake his bad attitude. It's like he's carrying it with him to his newer accounts.

I found out that ebay allows sellers to have multiple accounts, which is pretty sketchy if you ask me. I mean, how can customers make an informed decision if sellers can hide behind multiple accounts and defraud people by misrepresenting themselves? It's not fair.

I've encountered sellers with multiple accounts twice now and it's just not right. I believe in second chances, but I also think that customers should be allowed to choose not to do business with a particular seller if they've had a bad experience.

Ebay should be banning accounts after a certain number of negative reviews and have better security protocols in place so that those same sellers can't just open new accounts. It's pretty shameful that ebay allows this to go on.

And get this, "Retro Game Repair Shop" claims to have 4500 reviews. But if they have multiple accounts, then that means their bad behavior towards customers is accurate across all of their accounts.

I'm so glad I decided not to do business with these clowns. It's just not worth the hassle.

I gotta say, I've been a customer of Retro Game Repair Shop for a while now and I've always been happy with their stuff. I mean, I've spent a ton of cash on their website and I've never had any issues. But last November, I ordered the EZ Flash Omega for $59.99 and it came all messed up. The clock inside didn't work right when I tried to play Pok?mon games. So I reached out to RGRS and we went back and forth a bunch of times trying to figure out what was wrong. Finally, they told me to send it back and if they found that it was really broken, they'd give me my money back.

So I sent it back and waited for them to get back to me. But after a week, I hadn't heard anything, even though the tracking said they got it. I sent a bunch of emails asking what was up, but they never replied. I was getting pretty ticked off at this point, because I was out almost 60 bucks and I didn't have anything to show for it. Finally, after 9 days, I sent one last email saying that if they didn't get back to me, I was gonna do a chargeback. I mean, what else was I supposed to do? They had my money and I had nothing.

So I did the chargeback and a few days later, a replacement showed up at my door. I was happy to get it, but then I found out that they blocked me from buying anything else from their website. When I asked them about it, they said that after a chargeback, I couldn't buy anything from them anymore.

I don't get it. I've been a good customer for years and I've spent a lot of money on their stuff. But when I had to do a chargeback because they messed up, they blocked me from buying anything else. It doesn't make sense to me. I get that they don't want people abusing chargebacks, but I didn't do anything wrong. They messed up and I had to do a chargeback to get my money back. It's not fair that they're punishing me for something that was their fault.

So, I recently bought some GBA stickers from Retro Game Repair Shop and I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with what I got. The stickers looked nothing like what was advertised on the website! I mean, come on, I paid $13 for a set of 3 small stickers and they can't even get it right?

I tried to reach out to their customer service to see if I could get a refund or exchange, but they straight up refused to help me out. I mean, what kind of customer service is that? It's pretty unfortunate that they wouldn't even consider compensating me for the misleading product.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend buying from Retro Game Repair Shop. It's just not worth the hassle and disappointment. Save your money and find a better shop that actually cares about their customers.
