I just started collecting a few years ago and sideshow was my first place to buy from very helpful and professional. I've never encountered a problem with them but my own where unfortunately had to cancel a few items. Sideshow is an excellent company for collecters to purchase from I believe. Please continue the great help and helping us collector's by having great place to purchase from. Thank you.

Sideshows website was not working correctly for me for several months and I needed to update my order with a new address and cancel an existing address. They sent my package to the wrong address and both the post office and UPS and sideshow refuse to take responsibility even I have provided all information necessary for a refund, package was $279 dollars I will never see again. After the thousands of dollars I have spent on collectibles with this place this is the treatment I get? No more sideshow.
I order a few items with Sideshow and I never had a problem with them. On one order UPS said they had delivered my package from Sideshow and when I opened my door it wasn't there. I called Sideshow and they said they would send me a replacement immediately. After an hour UPS actually delivered my package. So, I called Sideshow again to cancel my replacement.
I've ordered 5 items from Sideshow Collectibles and everything has been great so far. I ordered my first item in February . I signed up for the newsletter prior to receiving a discount for first-time buyers, and when I tried to use it, wouldn't work. I contacted customer service to ask for help and he told me that the discount code expired, but he told me that he would apply the discount code anyway, which was really helpful for me. I ordered my 4th item back in April and it arrived partially damaged. It was the weekend so I had to wait until Monday to contact customer service. When I filled in my replacement request on Monday, I was contacted by customer service an hour later and they told me a replacement part would be shipped to my house immediately. One of my biggest fears when it comes to ordering expensive items online is not getting much help from customer support if a product arrives damaged. So far, Sideshow has been really great to me and I plan on making more purchases from this site in the future.
The packaging, delivery, and beauty of all their products are amazing as well as above expectations. Even if something was damaged on delivery they will do their best to accommodate you to replace the product. I love this business.
I enjoyed Sideshow Con, albeit a little too much
I enjoyed Sideshow Con, albeit a little too much... i binge ordered several pieces for a large sum of money. My first piece just came in the mail, and although it's smaller than I expected, I'm blown away by the condition and detail. With that said, I understand sideshow is a business and needs to make money. They charge a bit more than other companies, including a flexible shipping fee that is usually flat ar other companies. But the big draw is the ease of making preorders and setting up a payment plan. That's not something that other companies do well. In addition, their website is very easy to navigate. Raised my eyebrows, but I wanted the item so I sent the photos with sensitive information blacked out. After that, radio silence. Sent THREE follow-up emails, got the "we'll reply in 1-2 business days if not sooner, we look forward to helping you" blah blah yak yak. All three messages were ignored. Tried to check my order status, found that I had no pending orders. I assume they cancelled it without telling me? I really have no clue. At least I'm not out any money. Ordered the same item somewhere else; got it 4 days later. Sideshow is worthless.
Love their customer service so far out of the things that I bought only one had a quality control issue and they addressed quickly now waiting for my new collectible to arrive which is supposed to ship out today

I have ordered several Hot Toys figurines (all $280+) from Sideshow over the past 4 years along with other smaller items. I've placed pre-orders and ordered items that were currently in-stock. I've never had anything problems or disappointments with the items or the process. I last ordered a Hot Toys Spiderman figurine that I pre-ordered in Dec. 2021 with a potential arrival date in April 2022. When the end of April was coming near, I emailed Sideshow for an update and received a response within 24 hours. The item came within the week. Though I've read the negative reviews, I cannot say I personally had any problems with Sideshow over the past 4 years and would order from them again without hesitation.

They go waaaaaaaaay above and beyond every single time I have interacted with them. Best premium collectable business anywhere, hands down. I cannot and will not believe the negative reviews on here about this company. I have ordered many different items over many many many years from sideshow, and these reviews of a rude company, unwilling to make things right, are beyond false. I have never worked with a better more ethical company. They are simply the best of the best. I know people have their opinions, but reviews based on personal decisions and errors, do not classify as sideshow's problem. I have had over fifteen years of flawless customer service assistance and products with these guys. A+++

With that said, I always sign up for their payment plan and for this particular figure, it was months ahead for Nov 2020 releasing around Jan-Feb 2022. I also had other orders, so I assumed everything was in place but nope, I received an email today stating I owed the full almost 1100 payment! I used the online chat, and all they seemed they could do was split it into 3 payments of 300/300/450ish starting tomorrow Nov 25th, and not the 80-85ish I thought that could have been paid every month since Nov 2020. Not sure if they could have helped more, but do not understand why they cannot extend the plan more. And as mentioned, if you get buyers remorse, then you are out of luck because they will take money from you as I had a order that I did not get the notice to and out 50-60$,,, and with that one there was no help, just a sorry and anything else I can help you with. Very cold business sometimes

I had placed a pre-order for a particular item. When it was finally received many weeks later, Sideshow had sent the wrong item. I contacted them immediately and sent follow-up photos as proof. They accepted full responsibility and admitted it was a shipping/fulfillment error. I did return the order as requested and was told that the original item was now out of stock. I did check with the manufacturer and they confirmed they were sold out. When I learned I would be waitlisted after having paid in full, I did request a refund. Magically, they then apparently had it in stock and it was shipped; they provided a UPS tracking number as "proof" of shipment. After tracking the package for two weeks, UPS confirmed that only a label had been created, and the item had not yet been received for shipment. I immediately contact the representative from Sideshow about this. Never received a response. Waited a few more days and still no response. I even copied the CEO in my last email and no response from anyone. I merely want a refund in the total amount paid for an item I did not receive.

Company used a shipping company without my permission to ship express that charges a broker fee to handle customs. Neither Showtime nor the shipping company has my permission to act on my behalf in front of customs. Such a brokerage fee is just a ripoff. Furthermore due to poor packaging and shipment without protection the item was damaged. Customer Rep, by the name of Kimberly played dumb, ignored every written word and simply closed the case. I will also take this case to the FTC, and other agencies.

I received a damaged statue and Sideshow offered two options for me: return the item or compensate with gift cards. After they refused to compensate me for the cash. I choose to return the item. Then they told me I need to destroy the statue on my own. Yes, I need to destroy the 40kg polystone statue into pieces for a full refund. I am concerned the destruction work may damage my other properties. This is not what the refund process I was expecting. I'm a foreign customer, destroying the item can not allow me to claim back the import duties. This is also a large amount that Sideshow cannot pay me back.

I placed a order with Sideshow Collectible where I set up a payment plan that was taken from my account on the 25 of every month, this pass July 25 I was sick and missed the payment. I was never notified or given any notice, but my order was cancelled and my deposit was kept by sideshow. I called customer service and was told that after to attempts the order will be cancelled, these attempts were done back to back ( days apart ) not giving me time to pay, my next payment wasn't even due yet, then I was told that I could start all over again with a new payment plan and another deposit, This is a scam and a bad business practice.
