Lay off insurance for loans
I was recently laid off due to the covid-19 pandemic which caused a work shortage across the board. I applied to receive assistance with my loan payment for which I had been paying additional premiums each month since the life of the loan to be protected in case of an emergency and was denied. They will find any excuse possible not to help you. I had been laid off for two months a year before taking out the loan so that is being used against me. What has that got to do with anything. This company is a rip off, plain and simple.

IO called Minnesota Life for information on my dying husbands life insurance contract. Daniel advised he could not provider me with that. I questioned him for several minutes about why he could not provide me with that information. It came to a standstill, and he kept repeating what he had said initially. I then asked if I could please speak with a supervisor, he said there were none there. He would however have one "reach out" to me within 24 hours. This was not acceptable as I was going to be with my husband at the nursing home. I again asked for a supervisor, over and over and over. I asked for anyone senior to him, I asked if I could please speak to someone else in his office. He told me over and over again he could not do that. He absolutely refused to connect me to anyone else. This went on for 16 minutes, according to the timer on my phone. He would not let me speak to anyone else. Finally he agreed to let me speak with someone else in his office. I was on hold for 5 minutes and eventually a Senior Specialist came on the line. She explained to me why I could not have this info, but also advised me that this particular life insurance policy is a term life, and there is no cash value on this policy. The cash value is what the State of Vermont Medicaid asking for. So...it was taken care of, after over 16 minutes with a very rude, service rep. He did not swear, he did not raise his voice, he just put a wall up, and he would not let me speak with anyone. This is not right...Supervisors are or should be always available to a person who demands to speak with a supervisor.. His superior could have answered my question immediately. He should have let me speak to his superior...
Mortgage insurance policy, minnesota life insurance co.
The Company Minnesota Life Insurance dba Securion Financial Services persuaded my late partner to purchase accidental life Mortgage insurance over the phone knowing he was ill. He was under the impression he was being sold Mortgage Insurance. I was his long time partner and beneficiary. I was recently asked to supply a death certificate which CLEARLY STATES (BY PHYSICIAN) the cause of death as “accidental death”. Yes, he had underlying health problems as they would have known when they sold him the policy. — However, 2 weeks prior to his death he had a very favorable and positive outcome from his Physicians. Including their being no swallowing issues. He had swallowing tests that were all normal. Furthermore, I am actually shocked he was sold this type of insurance policy (over the phone) when the agent must have been aware of his health issues.
Filed claim for vision losses had to send proper documents to support which I did claim should have Bern approved showed proof doctors altered my records. Sent a total of five letters no response
Had a policy that covers vision lost filed claim and appeals mailed documents regular mail and certified mail still no response
