I went on samsung.com to purchase a galaxy s8 unlocked phone that they advertise for $399 and i saw a financing offer to apply for and once approved i would have no interest for 24 months. I went ahead and applied and got approved with he TD bank advertised as their financial institution. Then i placed an order and got confirmation. 2 days later my order was canceled by samsung saying its a financing issue. I called customer service and was told to contact their financial department which is TD bank. I did, bank assured me i have credit with them and $0 spent yet. Called back samsung and was told to just order again. So i did. 2 days later it was canceled again. Same issue again. Called bank and they once again assured that it was all good on their end and i have all the credit that i was initially given. Called samsung and spoke wih a manager who told me it happens and to wait 48h and order again. Well now the said phone went up in price by a $100 and more than likely it will be canceled again. Now i have an opened credit with a bank that i have no use for and its reflecting on my credit score. I have been scammed into applying for a credit and cant even buy a product. I have read many reviews now and see that people have same issue with samsung. I am really frustrated and hope that this will get out for people to see what a scam samsung company is!

Samsung financing, Buyer Beware!

I have purchased two phones through Samsung financing, I recently purchased the Samsung 23 Ultra and traded in my Z-Fold 3. Upon making my first payment I was notified after making the payment that $40 of my payment went towards a late fee assessment.

I had not been away made aware of what my payment due date is since purchasing this phone. When I logged into my online account I didn't see any information about my next payment or what my due date was for my last payment. I wasn't made aware that I had a $40 late for your assessment until after I made my payment. Buyers please be aware, I'm supposed to be on a 6-month no interest plan. I receive marketing emails from Samsung all day. I would have to search my emails to find any emails about my upcoming payments or avoiding a late fee which I didn't even know they charged a $40 late fee.

I plan to share this information with the Federal Trade Commission because I think they are ripping a lot of people off.

Samsung financing is provided through TD Bank. If you are new to Samsung financing please make sure you know your payment due date and make all your payments on time to avoid this unbelievable $40 late fee assessment.

My second complaint! Returned 2 phones, both within the returnable grace period. Called to make a payment to samsung financial. They stated they had not received any notification from Samsung concerning the return. I stated I have e mail confirming. She stated there is nothing she can and now my bill is over $3,000.00.. ! Return was confirmed over a month ago. She stated I need to make a payment, which was 3 times the original amount or it will be listed as a late payment and they will notify the credit reporting agencies! To me, they have stolen over $2,000.00 worth of phones, (which is a felony) but charging me for them! Time to contact the Attorney Generals Office and my Lawyer!

Absolutely awful! I set up the account with one debit card. However I decided to use another one. Yet these [censored]s keep debiting the bank account that is closed. $35 late fee everytime. When I ask them to remove the first bank they tell me DUH call us. No help whatsoever. I call them with the sixteen digit account and they say there is no account with that number.

I get transfered back to the menu. I go to remove the debit there maintenance system is down. This has been down over a week. I try to turn auto pay off and nope. The system is down and gives an error code. Absolute scam. Very disappointed Samsung deals with a scummy bank like TD.

Next time I will just pay the phone off. Avoid at all costs.

I pay my bills on time! I do not do it over the internet and wait for the paper bill to come in the mail. For the past few months I received my paper bill a week after my due date. It arrives with a late charge every month. I was advised that the 3rd of the month is when my bill is due. I called and asked why I receive my paper bill After, the due date. She stated, that that was how it goes. Do I want to make a payment that includes the late fee or did I want to pay the remaining balance?! I would not recommend their service and will check with our Attorney General office. Now I'm being discriminated against and fined because I don't pay the bill via the internet?@

Samsung finance deactivated my auto pay and didnt notify me. issue was the amount i had authorized (25$) was more than my bill was, roughly 11 for samsung care$. For almost 4 years i had auto pay with no issue then my credit score dropped 45 points over night. reason...samsung had tried to send me to collections for 32$ because they themselves deactivated my auto pay and i was 3 months late.

I agree - had a similar experience with Samsung Financing. It's horrible, with bad customer service - they just close your issues as soon as you open them. I'm getting late changes everywhere, and bad credit. Will never use again.
