Rocky Mountain Rocky Mountain: The Ultimate Website for Motorcycle Parts and Accessories

If you're someone who knows a thing or two about fixing up your motorcycle, then Rocky Mountain is the website for you. It's super easy to navigate and find the parts and accessories you need for your specific make, model, and year. And let me tell you, the videos they have attached to some of their products are a game-changer. It's one thing to see a picture of a part, but it's another thing entirely to see it in action. Plus, pictures can be deceiving when it comes to size and appearance.

I've tried other websites like bike magnet, but their search algorithm is nowhere near as refined as Rocky Mountain's. They'll give you a few parts that are relevant to your search, but then they'll throw in a bunch of non-related stuff just to make it seem like they have more results. It's frustrating and time-consuming. With Rocky Mountain, I find that there's far less filler, and the parts they do suggest are more relevant to what I'm looking for.

Overall, I'm really impressed with Rocky Mountain. They've made it easy for me to find the parts I need, and their videos have been incredibly helpful. Thanks for doing a great job, Rocky Mountain!

Rocky Mountain Disappointing Customer Service and Shipping Experience with Rocky Mountain: A Review

I've been using Rocky Mountain for all my parts needs for a while now, but this season has been a real disappointment. The customer service is just terrible - they're so rude and don't seem to care about their customers at all. I even had $30 in race credits that I wanted to use, but they told me they had expired and there was nothing they could do. What a waste!

I've also had issues with shipping - my orders have been late and not what I paid for, and when I complained, they just told me "that's the way it is" and refused to issue any credits. I paid for 2-day air, but got stuck with 6-day air instead. It's like Rocky Mountain has gotten too big for their customers and only cares about taking our money - they don't care about service after the sale. And if you look at all the bad reviews out there, it's clear that I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I've decided to switch back to motosport.com - at least they seem to care about their customers. UPDATE AS OF 1/9/20: I still haven't heard anything from Rocky Mountain management, despite their promises to contact me. It's clear that they don't care about their little customers - only the big corporations. UPDATE AS OF 4/18/20: It's really frustrating that Rocky Mountain doesn't seem to care about their customers at all. They just give everyone the same generic response and never actually follow up on anything. That's why I'm taking my business elsewhere - I work hard for my money and I want to spend it somewhere that actually values me as a customer.

Rocky Mountain Disappointing Experience with Rocky Mountain's Highland Reckless Bag: Smaller than Described and Poor Customer Service

I purchased my Highland Reckless from Rocky Mountain about a year ago, and I must say, I was quite disappointed with my experience. When I received the bag, I noticed that it was smaller than what was described on the website. In fact, it was more like the smallest version of the Highland, which was priced at half the cost. According to the description, the bag should have been 25 liters on each side, but it was no more than 15 liters.

I tried to communicate with customer service, but it was a real struggle. Every time I called, I had to explain the problem over and over again. They said they would check and get back to me, but it took them between 4-7 days to respond to my emails. Sometimes, it even took them up to 3 weeks to reply. It was very frustrating.

They asked me to take pictures of the bag with tape measurements, which I did. I attached them here for you to see. However, they told me that the 25 liters was when the roll-up was open. I mean, come on, who rides with their bag open? That's just ridiculous. They promised to send me pictures with tape measurements, but they suddenly said they couldn't do it for some reason. I think we all know why.

Unfortunately, I don't live in the USA, so it was too complicated for me to send the bag back and get a refund. However, I want to warn future clients that everything may seem good until there is a problem. The customer service is non-existent, and the behavior is not honest. I hope this review helps someone avoid the same mistake I made.

Rocky Mountain Rocky Mountain's Ordering Process Needs Improvement: A Frustrating Experience

I recently made an order on Rocky Mountain's website for a few items that I needed. One of the items I wanted was out of stock everywhere else, so I was happy to find it on their website. However, I received an email from them asking for additional information before they could process my order. I called their customer service line to find out what was going on, and the representative told me that since my order was over $1000, I had to process it through PayPal or do a wire transfer. I was confused and asked if I could remove an item to lower the invoice amount so I could use my card, but they refused.

I spoke to a supervisor who gave me a different explanation. They said that Rocky Mountain randomly selects orders and forces them to be processed through PayPal or wire transfer. I was skeptical because I've never heard of anything like that before. The supervisor also told me that since it was my first time ordering, I would have to use PayPal or wire transfer regardless of the amount.

I was frustrated because this was a domestic order, and there was no issue with the debit card I was using. I decided to cancel my order and create a new account with a different email. This time, I only ordered the item I urgently needed, but the same thing happened again. Customer service gave me the same explanation about randomly selecting orders for special scrutiny.

As a retailer myself, I can't imagine using a distributor who makes it so difficult to process a simple order. I have 37 retail stores, and I know how important it is to have a smooth ordering process. After reading other reviews, it's clear that I'm not alone in having a bad experience with Rocky Mountain.

Rocky Mountain Mixed Experience with Rocky Mountain ATV MC: Wrong Orders and Frustrating Customer Service

I've been ordering from Rocky Mountain ATV MC for a while now, and I gotta say, I've had some issues. Out of the four orders I've made, three of them have been wrong. It's been a real bummer, but I'm hoping they can make it right.

The first time I had an issue was with an Enduro Engineering Extreme Skid Plate. They sent me the wrong one, and it wasn't even the "extreme" version. I had to send them pictures so their tech department could see what was up. They did eventually replace it with the correct one, which worked great.

The second time was with some Acerbis Handguards. They sent me the wrong ones, and they don't even fit on my Braketec master cylinders. I'm working on returning them now, but I know it's gonna be a hassle. I'll have to take pictures from every angle and include every single part number involved.

The third time was with an Enduro Engineering Rear Brake Light Switch. They didn't even ship it to me! The shipping order said it had shipped, but it wasn't in the box with the other parts I ordered. When I called customer service, they tried to blame me for not receiving it. They asked if the package was damaged or if I overlooked the item. It was frustrating because I knew I wasn't lying. When I asked for a refund, they said it would take a couple of days to figure out what to do.

It's a real bummer because I used to love watching Rocky Mountain's YouTube channel for all their information and adventures. But now, my experience has completely ruined that for me. I hope they can make it right because it's not looking good right now.

Rocky Mountain Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Rocky Mountain - Zero Stars

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Rocky Mountain. I did a bunch of research before deciding to order from them, and I was really excited to get some new parts for my 2021 KX450. But man, what a mistake that was.

So I placed my order for $1,645.08, and the next day I got an email saying they were holding my order and I had to call in before they'd process it. No big deal, I thought, so I called them up as soon as they opened. The woman I spoke with asked me to confirm all the details of my order - what I ordered, my credit card info, and my shipping details. I gave her everything she asked for, and she said it all matched up. But then she put me on hold for a minute, and when she came back she told me that because it was my first order and a "large order," they wouldn't accept credit card payment. She said I'd have to use PayPal or wire them money directly to "protect us both."

Now, I don't know about you, but I don't really like using PayPal. Their terms of service are a pain, and their customer service is a nightmare. And wiring money just seems sketchy to me - I like the protections that a credit card provides. Plus, my credit card company had already approved and posted the charge to my account, and the billing and shipping details matched perfectly. So I don't really understand why Rocky Mountain refused to ship my order. In the world of dirt bikes and motorcycles, $1,600 isn't exactly a "large order." It just doesn't make sense to me.

Anyway, when they refused to process my order, I asked for a refund. They said they'd do it "immediately," but we'll see. I'm not holding my breath. I'm really disappointed in Rocky Mountain's customer service, and I don't think I'll be ordering from them again. I'll still watch their free YouTube videos, but they're not getting any more of my money. Zero stars for Rocky Mountain, in my book.

Rocky Mountain Disappointing Experience with Rocky Mountain: Hassle with Verification and Payment Process

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with Rocky Mountain. I placed an order on May 6th, and boy did they make it a hassle. The next day, they started calling me over and over again, wanting to verify my information and make sure I really wanted the order. I missed their calls, of course, because I was at work. They left detailed messages, but when I tried to call back, I was put on hold for a whopping 30 minutes. I ended up texting the number they provided, and finally got a response from a rep who supposedly cleared the order.

But then they started calling me again that same afternoon! I missed their calls again, because, you know, I'm at work. They left multiple messages, and one of them said they'd send an email and call me back if I responded. But they never did, even after I responded twice. So I texted again, and a different rep told me they'd "skipped a step in the process" and needed to charge my card a small amount. Then I was supposed to call my bank and give them the amount, or "login to my account" to get it. But we don't have online accounts - we only get paper statements. I told them we've lived at the same address since 1981, our credit scores are in the 800s, and the shipping address matched the billing address. We weren't going to jump through their hoops for this order. So we cancelled it.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend wasting your time with Rocky Mountain. There are plenty of other online motorcycle shops out there that make things way easier. We order from them regularly and appreciate them a lot more now.

Rocky Mountain Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Rocky Mountain: A Review

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with Rocky Mountain. I thought they were gonna be the one-stop-shop for all my dirt bike needs, but boy was I wrong. I ordered some boots and a helmet, and the next day I got an email saying they needed me to call in before they could process my order. No biggie, I thought. I called as soon as they opened and talked to this guy who asked me to confirm all my order details. I gave him everything he needed, and he said it all checked out, but then he put me on hold for a sec. When he came back, he said they couldn't accept my credit card payment because it was my first order and it was a "large order" (it was only like $1100, come on now). He told me I had to use PayPal or wire them the money directly to "protect us both." I was like, what the heck? My credit card company had already approved the charge and everything matched up perfectly. I didn't wanna use PayPal because their customer service is a nightmare, and wiring money is just sketchy. I asked for a refund, and they said they'd do it "immediately." But it took over a week for them to actually return my money.

Thankfully, I found RevZilla and they were a total lifesaver. I ordered the same gear from them for the same price with the same credit card and shipping details, and it was processed and shipped without any issues. It arrived within three days, too. I'm giving Rocky Mountain zero stars and RevZilla five stars. I'll still watch Rocky Mountain's free YouTube videos, but I'm never gonna give them my business again after that terrible customer service experience.

Rocky Mountain Rocky Mountain's Payment Policy is a Scam: Worst Customer Service Experience

I recently made an order for my new UTV on Rocky Mountain's website and paid with my credit card. However, I received a call from them stating that I had to pay with PayPal or wire transfer through my bank. I was confused and asked why, but they refused to tell me. I even asked to speak with a manager, but they also refused to give me an explanation. I have a good credit score and prefer to pay with my credit card for security reasons. I can dispute charges if I don't receive the product. However, they claimed that it was for my protection and that it was a company policy handed down from the CEO. I find this hard to believe and will not be shopping with them again. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I'm not the only one who has had this issue, as I saw another review with a similar experience. As a fellow sportsman, I suggest finding a company with transparency and giving them your business instead.

I'm sure they will respond to this review with fake concern, saying that it's their security policy to protect their customers and themselves. However, this is an absolute crock. If it were true, then all big companies would be doing it. Something doesn't seem right here, and they refuse to give a reason for their payment requirements. It would be different if they simply told me the reason, but transparency seems to escape them. Rocky Mountain, please don't reply to this review asking me to contact you. You have a lot of work to do to gain customer service trust back.

Update: I spoke with another customer service representative from Rocky Mountain and told him to start listening to their customers. I ended up canceling my entire order. He wanted me to verify my payment method through small transactions to my credit card. The next day, I ordered mirrors through Side by Side Stuff, and my shipping and billing information were different. They called me and asked me to confirm the two addresses verbally, which took only 10 seconds. Why was that so difficult for Rocky Mountain?

I found a really nice company with excellent customer service that shipped my tires and wheels in less than 24 hours. I ordered one day, and they were at my house the next day! Check out Mudthrowers.com. Don't settle for Rocky Mountain and their crappy service!

Rocky Mountain Disappointing Experience with Rocky Mountain ATV: Poor Quality Tires and Customer Service

Rocky Mountain ATV in Utah is a company that I trusted to provide me with a street style tire for my new RZR 1000. I chose the ITP Ultra Cross brand and had it shipped to my door via standard shipping from Monday to Friday. However, when I mounted the tires, I couldn't go over 40 miles per hour because my UTV shook so badly. I took both front tires in for a balance check and found out that one was out of balance by over 22 ounces. Unfortunately, I was told that there was nothing that could be done about it.

I immediately called RM ATV on a Saturday for a replacement, but I was initially told that it was my problem because RM ATV did not mount the tires on my stock wheels, which worked perfectly with the stock Big Horns that it came with. When I refused to accept that response, I was then told to send pictures, my info, and what was found to their warranty department. However, I was lied to and told that their warranty department would call me back ASAP on that day, Saturday. No one called, and I found out hours later that their warranty department is not even open on Saturdays.

I had to call again on Monday to explain the entire situation again. Each time I called RM ATV, I was put on hold for at least 10 minutes before I got someone in customer service. Finally, I received a FedEx return label by email. However, even after more trips and time to remove the rubber from the wheel and FedEx to pick up, they still would not send me a replacement until the return scan shows up in their system. I just watched it being scanned at my doorstep. They promised to promptly ship a replacement upon scanning the return, yet here I still wait on RM ATV. I have no confidence that without yet another 20-minute call to RM ATV tomorrow, Thursday, I will receive a tracking number to watch the standard 2-day delivery take a 5-day trip.

I see a lot of customer disappointment in RM ATV, and I only wish I had looked at reviews prior to my purchase. After a week, the second tire was shipped to me, but it was 5.50 oz out of balance. RM ATV now tells me that these are not the best tires for quality and for what I intend to use them for. However, these are what was recommended for my RZR 1000 in the initial purchase. I am going to take the hit, pay for the dismounting of all 4, and they can have them back for a full refund. I will purchase elsewhere and let everyone know of this horrible experience.

Rocky Mountain Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Rocky Mountain ATV

I recently placed an order on Rocky Mountain's website and paid with my card. Shortly after, I was contacted by RMATV to inform me that some of the items I had ordered could not be shipped overseas. We discussed which items would still be shipped and which ones had to be cancelled and refunded. I received an email from them confirming the items that were still going to be shipped.

However, a week later, I emailed their customer service to check if the remaining items had been shipped, but I didn't receive any response. I waited for some time and eventually received a refund for the entire order. When I checked their website, I saw that they had cancelled the entire order without any explanation.

Overall, I was disappointed with the lack of communication from RMATV's customer service. It would have been helpful to receive an explanation for why the entire order was cancelled. Despite this, I appreciate that they were upfront about the items that couldn't be shipped overseas and that they refunded me promptly. I hope that in the future, they can improve their communication with customers to avoid any confusion or frustration.

Rocky Mountain Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Rocky Mountain: A Review of Slasher LED Light Bar

I recently purchased a Slasher LED light bar from Rocky Mountain and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my experience. When I received the product, I realized that it did not come with a harness, which was a bit frustrating but not entirely unexpected. However, when I went to look for a harness on Rocky Mountain's website, I couldn't find one anywhere. I even reached out to Slasher, but they were no help either since they no longer have a distribution center in America.

After exhausting all my options, I decided to call Rocky Mountain's customer service line to see if they could help me out. I was put on hold for what felt like an eternity before finally being connected with a "tech" who said they would work on it for five days. After those five days, I was told that they were still clueless about the situation and all they could offer me were a couple of phone numbers. To make matters worse, when I asked to speak to a customer service manager, I was put on hold for another 30 minutes before being disconnected.

What really bothered me about this whole experience was that when I asked to return the product, I was told that I would be charged for shipping. It's not about the money for me, it's about standing behind what you sell. I want to feel confident that when I buy something from a company, they will be there to support me if anything goes wrong. Unfortunately, that was not the case with Rocky Mountain.

In the end, I decided to go on Amazon to find the harness I needed. It was frustrating to have to go through all of that just to get a simple part, but at least I was able to find a solution. Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience with Rocky Mountain and I'm not sure if I would buy from them again in the future.

Rocky Mountain Disappointed with Rocky Mountain's False Compatibility Claims and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with my recent experience with Rocky Mountain. I ordered a part for my WR250F and it was listed as compatible on their website. I even read the description carefully, which said it was "designed to have the same original factory shape that is on your machine." But when it arrived, it didn't fit because it didn't have provisions for the speedo cable.

I tried to return it, but RM wouldn't take it back because apparently if you choose a color on the website, it magically adds a note that says it doesn't have a mount for the speedo cover. I mean, come on. I'm not the only one who's been burned by this, either. I saw other reviews saying the same thing.

It's not even about the $28 I spent on the part. It's about doing the right thing. And RM didn't do that. I've spent thousands of dollars with them over the years, too. In 2020 alone, I spent $1,852. In 2019, I spent $1,454. In 2017, I spent $1,271. And in 2016, I spent $1,997. But after this experience, I don't think I'll be ordering from them again.

Rocky Mountain Rocky Mountain Review: Bait and Switch Tactics and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, my experience with Rocky Mountain wasn't the best. I ordered some upper doors for my ride and ended up freezing my butt off because of their bait and switch tactics. I thought I was getting the whole package, but all I got was the frame without the skins. I called them up and they told me that the skins were being shipped from another location and would take another week to arrive. I mean, come on, it was one part number and nowhere did it say that it could be shipped separately.

To make matters worse, they lied about the ship date and I didn't get the skins in time for my trip. I could have easily gotten them from eBay faster and cheaper, but I decided to go with Rocky Mountain because I thought they were the smarter option. Boy, was I wrong. The skins didn't arrive until after our trip and we were wet and cold the whole time. It really ruined our trip and it was totally avoidable if they had just been honest with me.

I'm not saying that Rocky Mountain is a bad company, but they definitely need to work on their communication and customer service. It's frustrating when you think you're getting one thing and end up with something completely different. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make some changes because I would hate for someone else to go through what I did.

Rocky Mountain Disappointing Experience with Rocky Mountain's Website: A Warning to Potential Customers

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience on Rocky Mountain's website. I mean, I should have read the reviews before I wasted my time ordering parts. But, like a lot of folks, I just assumed that a big name like Rocky Mountain would be reliable. Boy, was I wrong.

So, here's what happened. I placed an order for $550 worth of parts, and they charged my credit card right away. But then, they wouldn't send my order until I sent them some kind of verification receipt for some small purchases. What the heck? I've never had to jump through hoops like that just to do business with a company.

Now, I'm stuck waiting for my refund because they can't seem to get their act together. It's just plain craziness. I mean, if you're gonna order from these people, I hope you have better luck than I did. But honestly, I wouldn't recommend it.

Rocky Mountain Disappointing Customer Service and Shipping Issues at Rocky Mountain ATV: A Loyal Customer's Review

I have been a loyal customer of Rocky Mountain ATV for a long time now. I have ordered from them hundreds of times and have spent over $50,000.00 with them. However, I have noticed that their customer service has been getting worse and worse. In fact, it seems like there is no customer service at all. Every once in a while, I get lucky and speak to a supervisor who understands my concerns and tries to make things right. But those instances are few and far between.

One of the biggest issues I have with Rocky Mountain ATV is their shipping. Out of every three shipments, only one makes it to me without any issues. This is a huge problem for me because I rely on these parts to keep my business running smoothly. When I try to contact customer service, I feel like I am wasting my time. The representatives lie to me and don't seem to care about my concerns.

I order parts from several companies and spend over $100,000 a year, but Rocky Mountain ATV has by far the worst customer service. I am disappointed that Dan Thomas, the owner of the company, has not addressed these issues. I hope he reads these reviews and takes action to fix the problems. If he cares about his customers, he will reach out to me and listen to my concerns.

I have been dealing with these issues for years now, and I hope that Rocky Mountain ATV will take steps to improve their customer service. As a loyal customer, I want to continue doing business with them, but I need to see some changes first.

Rocky Mountain Rocky Mountain's Website: Disappointing Purchase Experience

I recently made a purchase on Rocky Mountain's website for 4 motorcycle tires. Shortly after placing my order, I received an email requesting that I call them regarding my purchase. I was a bit confused, but I gave them a call and was put on hold for quite some time. Eventually, I was able to speak to a friendly woman who confirmed my order and mailing address. However, she then informed me that she would be charging my card a small amount to confirm my identity. I was a bit hesitant, but I agreed to the charge.

Unfortunately, I never received an email from my card company to confirm the second charge. I explained this to the woman on the phone, but she insisted that I needed to verify the charge on my computer. I was frustrated with the process, especially since the charge was under the fraud threshold. I told her that for a $500 purchase, I thought it was ridiculous to have to go through all of this trouble. In the end, I decided to cancel my order and use a competitor instead. I was able to save $60 and didn't have to deal with any of the hassle.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience on Rocky Mountain's website. I understand the need for security measures, but I felt like the process was overly complicated and time-consuming. I appreciate the effort to protect my information, but I don't think it should come at the cost of customer satisfaction. In the future, I will be looking for other places to make my purchases.

Rocky Mountain Terrible Customer Service Experience with Rocky Mountain ATV - Avoid at All Costs

I gotta say, I wish I had read the reviews before I made my purchase. I had the worst experience with Rocky Mountain ATV. Their customer service was just terrible. I ordered something and it ended up being shipped to the wrong address. So, I called them up to try and sort it out. They told me that the package had already been shipped out and that I needed to contact the shipper to get it fixed.

So, I did what they said and contacted the shipper. They told me that I needed to fill out a form to request an address change and that they would also need approval from the shipper via email or call. I called Rocky Mountain ATV back to get their approval, but they told me that they wouldn't give it unless I paid them $14. They said that even if I did pay, there was no guarantee that the package would be delivered to the correct address.

Needless to say, I was pretty upset. I won't be doing business with Rocky Mountain ATV ever again, and I'll be telling all my rider friends to avoid them too. It's just not worth the hassle.

Rocky Mountain Disappointing Warranty Service from Rocky Mountain ATV: Not Worth the Hassle

I gotta say, I had a bit of a rough experience with Rocky Mountain ATV. I mean, I don't like to be too harsh on folks, but when they deserve it, they deserve it, ya know? So here's the deal: I was out riding my bike, just minding my own business, when I accidentally nicked my Tusk top plate with my rubber boot. And wouldn't you know it, the powder coating chipped off in a few places! I tried to ignore it, tried to cover it up with some rubber coating, but nothing seemed to work. So I figured, hey, I'll call up RM ATV and see if they can help me out with some warranty service.

Well, let me tell ya, that was a mistake. I got in touch with this guy Kyle, gave him all the info he needed, and what did I get in response? Two measly sentences: "After careful consideration, no warranty." That's it. No options, no discounts, no "have you tried this or that?" Nothing. I was pretty disappointed, to say the least. I mean, I get it, things happen, but the lack of effort on their part was pretty lackluster, if you ask me.

So yeah, needless to say, I won't be using them again. It's like they're just trying to sell stuff and move on to the next sucker. Not cool, man. And Kyle? Well, let's just say he can go back to eating paint chips in his parents' basement. No offense, Kyle, but you could use a little more customer service training, if you ask me.

Anyway, long story short, I wouldn't recommend buying from Rocky Mountain ATV. There are plenty of other places out there that actually care about their customers and stand behind their products. So do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Rocky Mountain Disappointing Warranty Experience with Rocky Mountain ATV: A Customer's Review

I've been a customer of Rocky Mountain ATV for a while now and I've never had any problems with my orders. However, my recent experience with them was a bit disappointing. I ordered a battery for my ATV, but when it arrived, I noticed that it had the wrong terminals on it. I immediately contacted their customer service and they assured me that it wouldn't be a problem. They asked me to send them some pictures of the battery so that their warranty tech could review it.

I sent the pictures over a month ago, but I haven't heard back from them yet. I've called them four times since then, but all they keep telling me is that it will take several more days before they can look at the information I sent them. I needed the battery for a ride that I was planning to do the weekend after I ordered it. Unfortunately, I had to buy a battery locally because I couldn't wait any longer. Now, I'm stuck with this useless battery that I can't even get a response on.

I'm really disappointed with Rocky Mountain ATV's warranty and return policy. It's been a frustrating experience for me, and I don't think I'll be buying from them again. If you're looking for a reliable company that stands behind their products, I suggest you go somewhere else.
