I am a senior who feels taken advantage of which I had roughly 2" of water backup in my basement and called Mr. Rooter for there service. Several people showed up all at once including Right Restoration. He and I sat down and he asked if I had insurance coverage which I responded yes. He said lets take a look at your policy which he then noticed I had water backup coverage for $5,000 with a $500 deductible. He then said his company would do the restoration damges and needed the $ 500 Deductible which I gave him. There was no discussion about an estimate for the restoration. We then went to the basement to check on things at which time the basement was only a wet floor because the water had drained out. Later that day Right Restoration workers showed up with 17 fans to dry up the basement which were there for 5 days. Once they picked up tyhe fans upon completion I received an invoice for $5,500 minus the $500 already paid. I challenged the invoice request that equaled my insurance coverage and the number of fans used. Further pointing out that a few house fans could have accomplished the same result at a much lower cost had we discussed an estimate before hand. I was told they use a formula to determine sq. ft. to dry out a basement which their estimate included walls, ceiling, etc. allwhich were not affected bt 2" of water for a couple of hours. I was unable to get any charges reduced telling them that I felt that this was overkill with the equipment used. Further that the charges were excessive and I would not ever use them again or recommend them. They are not a company that I find ethical in their practices and felt taken advantage of because I had coverage and being a senior. Make sure you fully understand any thing told to you before signing anything with this company as they seem to have all bases covered with their legal mumbo jumbo. It seems that this all covers services for Mr. Rooter Plumbing, Electric, Right Restoration since they are all one company.

Started out great. But now it's been a week. Job not finished. No show twice. Garbage from my water leak in the crawl space still sitting on my lawn. Like I said... It's been a weekm.

Don't use this company! We used them twice. They're not honest and will charge your home insurance an outrageous price. They had to dry a 5 by 7 bathroom, and it took them 3 days. They had to come back because the machine wasn't hooked up right. They didn't cover the whole floor and they caused more damage to my wall. Then they charged my insurance company $2800 and took our $500 deductible. Plus, they're messy and don't clean up after themselves. You have to remind them to do it, like kids. If they come near your place, tell them to go away!

When this company started the job, they were friendly and helpful. Even though there were a couple of delays with finishing the drying for my water issue, I was still satisfied with their work and professionalism. Now they are hounding me about a payment from my insurance. Part of my settlement is also coming with this payment. I have already spoken with them to make them aware that I will indeed contact them when I receive the check, and since then they have called multiple times (the number goes to Mr.), and even sent someone out to my house unannounced today! I can appreciate them wanting payment, and I certainly want to put the issue behind me as well, but the issue is not with me seeing as how I can't even cash the check without them. This business needs to make sure that they know where the issues are before badgering their customers.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone! The owner of *** should be ashamed for including Right Restoration as part of their plumbing business. Right Restoration is a total scam. They pretend to represent you and help you file an insurance claim, but they lie and scam you right from the start. They leave you with a denied claim. I should have paid attention to the issues other customers had with this company, but I had dealt with *** before and never had any problems. Once they found out how much our insurance deductible was, they took $6000 and said it would go towards our deductible. What a bunch of liars! They didn't even bother to call the insurance company. They just ripped out my bathroom, all the way down to the concrete flooring and up to the eaves of the bathroom roof. They removed the insulation, even though it wasn't damaged by water at all. They also caused major damage to parts of the walls. They didn't even bother to spray or use any disinfectant or sanitizer on our kitchen floor, which was hit with sewer backup from an upstairs bathroom. More lies! They claim they never hear back from the insurance adjusters when they call for answers. They lied to my face. They deal with adjusters all the time. Liars! If you're considering using these scammers, think twice! Please!

Don't use this company! All homeowners, this company is horrible. I blame Mr. company for calling them to assess my subfloor. I was in the process of remodeling the bathroom and my contractor found a leak, so I called ***. They came out, did an inspection, and said the subfloor was damaged. It might need to be replaced or dried out. They called the right company, they came out, took pictures, and filed a claim with my homeowner insurance. I gave them *** for my deductible. They tried to dry it out for 7 days and said I had asbestos. It wasn't dry after 7 days, they came by and said my claim was denied, picked up their equipment, and left. In those 7 days, they just came by to check how wet it was. Of course, it was never going to dry because the plumbing work wasn't done. Mr. did not feel that it was safe to do the plumbing before the asbestos and floor were taken care of. They absolutely did nothing. I don't even think they treated the asbestos. What kind of company would not even give you a quote or advise you on what to do next if the claim got denied? We asked for the deductible back, they said no. Again, they did absolutely nothing. They never communicated with the insurance company. I feel like I never had a plan to replace the subfloor or even treat it. I blame Mr. for referring such a horrible company. I agree with the rest of the reviews, scammers. Don't use this company.

My new home had a flood on October 12, 2022. I called Mr. to fix the plumbing, and he recommended "Right Restoration" to dry out the stuff in the house. Right Restoration came on October 12, 2022, and gave me a quote of $2500 to dry out my floors and basement ceiling. Their bill doesn't have any specifics, it just says the cost of the project. I paid the bill on Oct 12th, and they started taking out the wet stuff. My insurance company has been calling the company every day to get a detailed quote so I can get my $2500 back. Right Restoration won't help with the insurance. They can't give a detailed quote. I got scammed and charged way too much - otherwise, the detailed bill wouldn't be a problem. I uploaded the only bill I got.

On 8/19/2022, there was a sewage backup in our recently purchased house. We called Mr Rooter, and they arrived promptly. However, they then started bringing in other affiliated companies, including Right Restoration. They handed me electronic tablets to sign while I was standing. They gave me an estimate of $2500-$3500. They removed the damaged materials from the sewer, but left a lot of it in my garage. They placed dehumidifiers and their staff would occasionally come in to quickly check for water and then leave. Eventually, they removed the machines at their convenience. However, all the items and materials covered in sewer waste were still left in my garage. Finally, someone named *** came and took some of the sewer-covered materials and threw them in the plumbers' dumpster. However, a lot of it still remained in the garage. We had to call them again to get them to come back out. After waiting for over 2 weeks, two people showed up to clear out the sewer-damaged items from the garage. Today, I received the invoice and was shocked to see that they charged us over $4991, which is almost $1500 more than the highest estimate. Throughout the entire process, no one from Right Restoration, whether it be a staff member or manager, ever discussed with us that we would be invoiced for such a significantly higher amount than the highest estimate. My husband is 70 years old, and I am 63.

On 10/19/2022 I had a company called Right Restoration, based in Ohio, come to my place in *** to fix a stinky problem in my basement. Turns out, there were two leaky pipes in my crawl space. The problem wasn't with the plumbing company, but with Right Restoration. Mr. called them to check for mold in the crawl space. The guy from Right Restoration showed up wearing a Mr. shirt and drove a Mr. van. So, at first, I thought he was from Mr. team. Right Restoration sent me an estimate of $6,500 to $8,500 to treat black mold in the crawl space. I was shocked by the price and asked a friend in the plumbing industry for their opinion. They thought it was way too expensive. So, I decided to call a reputable mold removal company for a second opinion. The other company inspected the crawl space and found no mold at all. They said I didn't need to do anything, just check it once a year to be sure everything was still fine. It was really frustrating to realize that Right Restoration wanted to charge me so much for a problem that didn't even exist. It was clear that the two companies were working together. Either Right Restoration doesn't know what they're doing, or they're involved in some serious fraud. Either way, this is not a company you can trust.

On 06/04/22, I had a sewer backup that flooded my house with gross sewage. I told *** Insurance and they told me to call *** and Right Restoration. *** put in a sewer cleanout and got a loan. Right Restoration started fixing things in my house. But then they stopped because we were waiting for a check from *** Insurance. Once Right Restoration got paid, they didn't want to come back and finish the job. They didn't even give me the invoices for ***. Now my house is all torn up with just the bare bones left in many places. I keep seeing mold coming back. I'm working with other contractors now. They told me I should sue Right Restoration and *** Insurance after doing lots of inspections. Right Restoration even put a collections account against me on the same day they got paid, which messed up my credit. They left my bathroom walls open and the walls leading to the crawlspace open too. One of my cats got out and died. The work that Right Restoration was paid for but didn't finish has caused a lot of damage that's hard to fix with other contractors. I want some of the money they got paid back so I can use it for future repairs. If they gave me about half of the initial payment, I could at least do some emergency repairs. I also need help finding a lawyer to represent me. If I can't work things out with Right Restoration, I'll have to sue them. I was really nice to them, but they and *** have left me with almost nothing.
