Jackson Hewitt (2785 Charlotte Hwy Unit 27, Mooresville, NC 28117)

My 1st contact was Libby for the Early Refund Advance, received $500 after a 2nd trip to understand why it didn't go thru. Libby went out on medical leave. My 2nd contact was Andrew. Spoke on the phone upload W2, he sent the doc via email. I signed and sent it back.

**Not one time did Andrew say anything about I will be denied for the Refund Advance Loan for signing virtually. I made several calls to Andrew at the office to find out what was going on and he still wasn't able to provide a valid explanation.

**I had to call Republic Bank and Trust myself and find out the reason for not receiving the $1500 as indicated in my text message that I was pre-approved for. So according to Republic Bank, it was denied because it needed to be completed in-office, not virtually.

**I've been having my taxes completed by Jackson Hewitt since 2018 or 2019, when they dealt with Meta Bank, now this Republic Bank and Trust is a total rip off.

**I recently received a text stating my Federal tax refund has been received and your check will be mailed to the address on file and should be rec'd in the next 7 business days. To unsubscribe, reply STOP.

**I called over to the JH office spoke with Andrew once again.

**AGAIN, he wasn't able to provide any information about why they sent the text and also stated that it shows in the system a check will be mailed out. **My thoughts..."Why would a check be mailed out? When I have DIRECT DEPOSIT on my tax docs.

**I received a letter from Republic stating that my application was incomplete. What application? was my thoughts.

**Mind you, I requested for my Federal tax refund to be direct deposited into my personal bank account (where the $500 was deposited) and now they sending a check?

**One thing for sure and two things for certain...I will NOT be returning to Jackson Hewitt in the future to complete my taxes.

**They charge too much for entering the information into the system.

**I can go back to doing themself and still get my FULL refund in the same amount time as if I had Jackson Hewitt to do them.

**The only thing I wanted was the Early Refund Advance and the Loan portion.

**I will be placing this same review on Jackson Hewitt website and the complaint site as well.

**This has been the 2nd worst Jackson Hewitt experience that I have had and I will also share on the social media platform.

I been going to Jackson Hewitt to get my taxes done for years now and ALWAYS have gotten approved for both the early advancement and the one that you get when you have your W-2 in January and this year since they switched to y’all I got denied for both with no understanding why and the letter that you sent me was so ridiculous trying to explain why y’all denied me that the lady even doing my taxes said that it didn’t make sense. I truly believe that y’all discriminate against the non republicans and your company has made me decide to never go back to Jackson Hewitt again because they’re dealing with y’all now instead of meta bank and I’m taking 3 others with me too

Yes have had a account for 20 years have perfect credit have had home equity loans taking out loans personal loans never overdrafted went to Republic Bank on New cut road where I Bank my name is Dorothy Thompson asked to borrow money to buy a house and everything is going good there was a man there that took care of that his name was a young at Republic Bank arms stead Young he said everything was okay covid hit was trying to buy a property it was an auction house and he called the auction company and told them that something seemed fishy about our taxes so the agent that called me that we were buying the house from said they could not give us any time to get the loan this one covet started so we end up paying $10,000 because we were denied I have perfect credit and I would like someone to please contact me back my number is [protected] my name is Charlene Hatfield thank you

On 3/23 my fedaral tax refund eas deposited on serve debit card 921 after fees to jackson hewitt and fees for Republic bank my state tefund was not deposited on serve 153.00 my total refund before disbured 1211.oo after jackson hewitt. Assissed fees of 352.95 my fedaral refund was 921.05 was deposited 3/21 my state was sent out 153. On 3/31 it was not deposited on the American express serve my statement from serve shows only 1 deposit 921.05. The GA dept. Of revenue said it was paid to same account as the federal tax 1.121

00 tax refund after disbursement to jackson hewitt state and associated fees taken out 352.95 photo attachedc my deposit is 921.05 my state refund 153.00 has not been deposited to my serve debit prepayed card .but serve and jackson hewitt say it was kelp for the disbursement of fees. Back to the refund fed. 1.121.00 fees taken out 352.95 left my depisit of 921.05 im still looking at a deposit of 153.00 state tax

I worked for Republic Bank in Louisville, Kentucky downtown for a seasonal position. And it was the worst the Supervisor Cassie and the underwriter the old white man that wore a trench coat was racist, they would talk only to certain blacks, and they recruited a lot of black people for the seasonal position and one by one Supervisor Cassie was getting rid of people. We had to pay to park in the garage. The regulars was very mean to us they wouldn't speak or be around us. We had to always wait at the door for Cassie to let us through to get our temperature checked. And the one guy that was a Supervisor he was short and white he is racist and didn't want certain blacks talking to each other. Certain ones can talk and somebody talked to me he would get mad and mumble under his breathe mean comments. Don't take this job because it want last. This was through the temporary agency it was several that came from one.

On January 31, 2021. A certain someone transferred a money to me as a payment for product that I sell, and the receipt said that I'll be able to receive the money at February 05, 2021.

It's already February 11, 2021 and we can't take the payment since there's no record of the MTCN that she sent.

Republic received stimulus payment as a whole and failed to issue individual payment to the correct person. First issue is why are you issuing a tax company a temp. account and second why was every other tax company able to work to ensure they payments go the correct account and Republic bank did nothing to help the consumer, very disappointed with the lack of concern that was shown by this company.

I filled my taxes through TaxAct.com and signed up for the tax refund to be sent to Republic Bank. The IRS issued the refund of $246.55 on March 26, 2018. Republic Bank says they only received $19. Now they say I owe them $31.00 more for filling fees/transfer fees. I would like to know what happened to the balance of my refund. I believe they or TaxAct.com took some of my refund for extra charges that I didn't approve.
