Re/Max Abusing / i̇nsulting / threatening issue via re max office owner

İ am a house owner in Istanbul/Turkey. İ gave an advert for my house with "from owner" title and "realtors never contact" warning in a famous portal, called "sahibinden.com". And even mu warnings, I was known quality of people here, I only allowed messages and closed my phone number on sahibinden.com just avoiding from Remax workers' abusings.

Several times via several workers of Remax Gelişim, they have abused me. İn the end, I decided to write a google comment about this branch. A few days later on my review; this agency wrote a response firstly and said that "you re physycopat and so on", which is also an insulting crime for Turkey law and also not professional for an instituonal company also.

But worse is that; later on again from sahibinden.com portal someone sent private message and wrote "İ m Hakan Kayaoglu, Remax branch owner, call me immediately, you ll see!" Also I learnt that he came to compound also to find me! He confessed in his message this!

As Turkey is not very normal country because of really different people; I m firstly really scared because people kill themselves for sollu reaaons here. And I am totally fed up with at least 7-8 different Remax workers' messages about my house.

STOP REMAX! İ already applied to court about Hakan Kayaoğlu about abusing&threatening& insulting crimes.

Re/Max Unethical agent

This agent dislikes me as much as I dislike him; he is the selling agent for my divorced wife and is interjecting his opinions into the legal process of selling my home in accordance with the divorce decree. His attempt to influence the selling my property is leading to increased friction and volatility between those involved. His "influence" over my ex wife is unethical, we had reached an agreement to remove the house from the market until spring due to weather concerns and the rising interest rates. Hornberger intervened and created a dispute between attorneys. he should be censured and forced to attend company ehtics training before being allowed to represent any further clients

Re/Max Remax agency

I saw an ad on facebook regarding becoming agent of real estate company, Remax. I filled my details and got a call from Mr. Naveen. During the call, he committed that I would get 80% commission on all transactions and told that at present he would have to send me email with commission stated as 50% according to norms of the company. But he committed that he would definitely send me an email with 80% commission after my training in a few days. After, he made this commitment, I paid Rs 35,000+GST to Remax account. I kept following up with him since day 1 regarding 80% email and every time, he said that I need not worry and that he would definitely send me an email with 80% commission in a few days. Then for a few days, he didn’t respond to my messages or my calls. One day, he picked my call and told me to talk to Mr. Anshu who is franchise head of Remax and sent me his number. I called him. During the call he denied to give me 80% commission. Immediately, I sent him email to refund my whole amount but he refused. I spoke to Miss Shivani and Mr. Amit also who had contacted me earlier and pleaded to help me but they refused to help me in any manner.

Desired outcome: Refund of money along with compensation

I had remax to sell my home, on June 23rd of 2023 was my first closing date, but I got a call early that morning from my realtor stating that it was canceled because the buyers couldn't make it they were out of town, so we reschedule the closing date to July the 6th, I went in and I signed all the closing agreements papers but again the buyer wasn't there neither did they transfer any fund into the account, I've been calling my realtor to try to find out what's going on as of today July 17th of 2023, 4 days ago my agent assistant told me that they were working on it when I asked her what was going on with the buyer, she said they were working on it but did not tell me what they was working on, because I thought when I close on July 6th it was a done deal, my life went to hell from June the 23rd all the way until now, I'm in this house living in limbo not knowing what the heck's going on,

Re/Max Request re/max assistance

Contracted with Re/Max for a new home build.

Since buying the house in October 2019 all subsequent communication flows

through or is referred to the builder.

One major drainage issue has not been resolved, which since it was put off has now been shoved off as 'property owner's' responsibility by the builder.

Yesterday, I called the builder for a large exterior crack.

Have not been contacted back and usually this has be their habit, ie, we are busy, remind us, put you on the list, got you on the list, give us a call and remind us, leave a message, etc.

Contacting our Re/Max agent, I am afraid, will get the "contact" the builder

response again.

Can you contact Prestige Properties Re/Max rep Vanessa Smith to remedy the drainage problem and now the exterior problem.

As Skyridge Custom Homes represents Re/Max in our area I am sure that Re/Max doesn't want this type of image for it's customers.

Desired outcome: Would like the drainage issue fixed this week since it has been not been taken care of.Want the builder to come by and inspect the exterior wall crack and explain the cause and long term effects and fix it correctly, today.

Re/Max Real Estate Broker

I have a contract with a real estate estate. I am a buyer. I am supposed to pay 2% of the listed cost upon closing, but our agent did almost nothing. He did a visit with us, placed our offer and attended part of the home inspection.

When arranging the notary, he disregarded corrections that were made and sent the wrong information to parties. When attempting to get in touch with him, no one had any success. I had to speak with the selling agent myself to correct the information.

I called my agent - no answer. I e-mailed my agent to again state the new notary information. No answer.

The notary needed information from our agent and he never answered. I again (for the second time) had to call the selling agent to get certain information.

Now, we are approaching the notary singing and I need to ensure that our keys will be obtained and that everything is in order. Again I have not heard anything from our agent in about a month. I am now contacting, for the thitd time myself, the selling agent to arrange everything.

Why would I have to pay this agent when he was never available when I had questions or when correspondence needed to take place with the selling party - I did this all myself.

Desired outcome: I will pay a VERY minimal amount for the VERY minimal work done.

Re/Max realtor did not disclose issues with road access

Armando Hernandez, [protected]@gmail.com. [protected]

I bought a home in Grecia Costa Rica in May of this year, the Re/max realtor was Daniel Reams when I was shown the home and property I was given a remote control for a large gate and nice road to the house. I had no idea I was not on my property, On the plans it does show the driveway I used. the road has been closed by the home owner the road I had to use on my visit to my new home is so steep there is no way an Ambulance or any emergency services can reach the home, I can not have furniture or anything else delivered I rented a four wheel drive Toyota truck and it stalled on this road I had to roll back down and take a running start.

Both the realtor and Broker new about this issue and did not disclose the issue before the sale of the home to me, they made there money and have refused to address this issue. I would not have bought the house if I knew about this dangerous road.

I sold my California home with Re/max last year and they were great.

thank you and have a great day

Desired outcome: Have an agreement made with the home owner to open the road.

Re/Max Beware - remax suing for cancel contract commissions (read the small rprint)

In August 2022, as buyers, while trying to cancel a home purchase contract 2 weeks prior to closing, Remax Town and Country wants to sue us for the earnest money and their sales commissions (normally paid by the seller). Our initial inspection found structual issues on a wall holding up an addition for the sunroom, patio and porch on a 2 story steep hill. The Agent/Seller did not identify structure as an issue on the initial property disclosure statement. After waiting 3 weeks for a name, to be able to research the inspector and their company they would use and before time ran out, the Seller hired another inspector with low ratings, who indicate it was not a problem, even though it was clear that the wall holding up the home was pulling away from it after only 7 years of the installation. The 2nd inspector indicated that only some cement could be put in cracks in other retaining wall areas to fix the concern. Because of this review and the limited amount of work that they identified was needed, a warranty would not be provided.

Cancelling the contract was not an easy choice to make but we believe Remax was being unreasonable with their request for commissions, in a hot real estate market in Marietta Georgia where many homes are getting multiple offers and they will still get their commission when it is sold.

As seniors, ages 68 and 69 and with everything being on-line, we are not able to make any changes to address any concerns and could only initial and sign documents in limited amounts of time. This was all new for us and we trusted our agents which is now an unfortunate thing to do.

Desired outcome: While we understand that we may loose a portion of the earnest money, we do not feel we should be sued to pay for Remax damages and commissions in a hot market.

Re/Max Was lied to about the internet by Steven Jenny in Columbus NE

My #1 concern with my home that I stated a number of times back from about September to about November of 2021 was that the house had to have good stable internet for my online classes, future jobs, and a server room. When going back to the office to Sign the Offer Letter I specifically asked him "So the house does have internet right"? Where he replied "yes it has internet" all the while I had been constantly telling him how important it was that it be able to handle a server room. A couple months go by I ask many times who the internet provider is and he does not reply. Time comes to buy the house and I say no the house does not have Cable internet it does not meet what I need for my future you lied to me. Where he then Sends me an E-mail stating that I'm in a contract and if I pull out I will be sued I will lose and I could possibly have to pay the entire amount of the home. He then calls me and says "well I told you there was internet but not what kind". So I tried to make the best of it. I ordered Starlink Satellite internet "cause there was no internet for the home at all" and installed it myself thinking I'll get through this. This took till about May of 2022 for me to get internet up. I quickly realized it would not cut it. It has constant drops and would cause me to miss to much class and would affect my grades. So I was not able to take my classes which I was hoping to start in January - March of 2022. I was not able to get any jobs I had been working toward and saving up to finally buy a home where I can finally move forward with my life. Infact the house has alot of problems because they rushed getting me into this house when I started asking questions about the internet. The electric in the home does not function properly. I have constant tripping breakers ( which I also game it's my main hobby and pretty much my only way to relax cause I'm anti social ) and I can't even do that. There was no door flange on the front door the house was not finished and I am paying top dollar for a house in which I was lied to and is useless to me. I do not understand how someone can be such a POS to another human being. I am currently talking with legal about taking action and talking with the Real state commission but honestly I just want out of this house and get my money back. I tried to just talk about selling it with another realtor and they told me I would lose roughly 20,000. So I'm going after yall for costing me my education, my potential jobs, false representation of a home, breach of trust, emotional and financial distress.

Desired outcome: I want him to come clean, apologize and for yall to get me out of this house so I can continue my life.

Re/Max Scammed Services

I went to rent an office in Izmit, Turkiye. The office branch Remax Maximum went ahead and signed a lease, and I found out the next day from a lawyer that I can't have a valid lease because I don't have residency in Turkey. I was told that the lease isn't valid. When I went back less than 24 hrs to the office, they told me they couldn't give me any money back. They said I should have known I couldn't rent an office without a residency permit.

Desired outcome: A refund for the monthly rent payment paid to the invalid lease written.

Re/Max London Franchise

Date: 02-04-2022.

On behalf of my daughters, as the only legal guardian and surviving parent of the girls.

Following the death of my former partner Mrs Praxedes Garcia Molina (DOB 28-08-1976) and mum of my two daughters, I wanted to reach out to RE/MAX USA LEGAL DEPARTMENT.

She rented a flat in London through RE/MAX in Flat 13, The Piper Building, Peterborough Road SW6 3EF Fulham.

I regret to inform of her passing in Barcelona, Spain last Saturday 02-04-2022 of Leukemia at 45 years old. She was initially diagnosed in the UK on 02-02-2020 following the Cancer treatment at Hammersmith Hospital. As you can imagine all this happened at the same time as Covid breakdown in this country - indeed a very stressful process for her mostly and for all of us too. In March 2022, She has decided to have a treatment in the Hospital Clinico in Barcelona, Spain as a last resort. I have now to deal with her estate in the UK.

We have had an extremely difficult month of April May and June. My focus has therefore been with them over the past few months as we start to rebuild our lives.

I told Ms Christiana Torto (REMAX LONDON Victoria Branch) that the family is going through a lot, as a matter of priority they have recommended us to take it easy as this is a very overwhelming process for the three of us, I would kindly ask us to help us during this very complex and difficult process.

I told Christiana I was now in a position to look for after the estate but she never recognised my authority as the person dealing with her estate.

The rent was paid until July 30th 2022. We have to vacate the property and leave the apartment on the 21st May and accept and pay for previous damages.

Praxedes rented a flat in London, UK and as a matter of fact she needed to pay every single year in advance.

The process with the RE/MAX in London Victoria has been a real nightmare, particularly Ms Christiana Torto and Mr Andrea Frigo. The were very slow responding to my needs.

They haven't been cooperative at all when I asked them to reimburse the approx £10.000,00 to my daughters.

The rent was paid one year in advance and now after waiting for 3 months they decided to keep the money and to re-let the property on the 5th August 2022.

This money should be for the girls and use this as a life time wish instead of keeping the money. When someone dies is game over, unfortunately, so the contract is no longer valid.

I have accepted the money for the repairs £1.200,00 and I help to vacate the property on the 21st May 2022.

The company REMAX London thorough the landlord were not willing to return the money, they have previously said they’ll return this as a goodwill gesture but they then turn around with a different excuse. This is money that belongs to the girls and I can’t believe all this is happening. Such a lack of consideration and good will.

I have no choice than make this public by send this to the press as the Agents in London have blocked me while this would be very easy to sort out.

I wish anyone to go through this awful process.

I have already sent the information to REMAX LONDON without any success or willingness to help as well as other service providers.

They have been very slow responding and changing at all times. They have shown they have an unclear knowledge of the jurisdiction.

Mr Fleix Zorrilla was the only person trying to help, he sent me this message:

"Dear Lucas, I hope you are fine. My sincere condolences for the loss of Praxedes.

I have informed the landlady and our admin offices regarding this situation and we will email you for your information a balance of payments regarding the rental of Flat 13.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Kind regards

Felix Zorrilla"

I would like to escalate this as the UK manager, Mr Andrea Frigo is not been responsive.

I would like to escalate to RE/MAX USA to see if we can find a solution as this shows a total lack of understanding and they have incredibly upset me and my daughters.

Many thanks in advance

Saludos Cordiales / Kindest regards / Cordialement Lucas Rodriguez de los Santos + (44) [protected]

[protected]@gmail.com

Desired outcome: To return the money from the day the property was vacated 21st May 2022 until the 30th July 2022 at £2,383.33 per month

Re/Max Not being honest

A home in our neighborhood recently went up for sale. In the listing, the agent has intentionally left out there is an HOA in the waterfront area. It describes it as "accessible common area". It is only accessible if dues/assessments are paid. I called the answering service asking for an update to the listing. Several days have passed without an update on the sellers description.

Non-waterfrong homeowners are assigned a space in the waterfront area. This was done back in the 80's by the developer. Pictures the realtor posted of the waterfront/dock area with the listing do not belong to the home being sold. He has posted pictures of one of the nicer waterfront/dock areas instead of the true dock this needs repair/refreshing.

Shouldn't realtors be held to high moral standards? I see his conduct as being very deceiving.

Date: 7/10/22

Desired outcome: I would like the listing to be updated to reflect there is an HOA, and for the realtor to update the photos.

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Re/Max I won a ethics case and have severe damages from a fraudulent re max agent.

Right now I have a major mold issue in my Roseville because Remax Agent said that the leak was fixed and denied me repeated access to the house during escrow because it was covid and the seller didn't want people in home. Right now I am trying to reach a settlement and Remax is advising their attorney to fight me every step of the way costing them and me extra money. I am so sad and feel emotional drained and stressed over the situation. I would never treat my clients this way. I was abused every step of the way in this Remax transaction. Their defense attorney for the case is Klinedinst in Sacramento, CA. The attorney is Raja Hafed [protected]@klinedinstlaw.com at [protected] x4231. My name is Natalie Grand and I would love to just settle this before more legal bills are racked up on both ends. I work in the field of insurance and most the money is going to your defense right now and all I am asking for is my receipts and damages be reimbursed, not the stress and emotional experience damages. Please consider coming to a resolve. Thank you kindly. Natalie Grand

Re/Max Contract fraud, blackmail, using the MSL listing for his own personal problems

Signed one year contract to sell a lot, real estate agent made a mistake on the dates contract expired 3 days later, real estate agent refuses to take down the MSL listing because of personal reasons between another agent and the real estate agent. It has been on the MSL listing for 7 1/2 wks now, I have talked to the broker she told me Remax attorneys said that me and the real estate agent made a mutual agreement on the dates and it's okay to resign a contract, I told the broker I want you to take it down off the listing Becky told me if you drop the complaint against the real estate agent I will take down your MSL listing, I told her you're blackmailing me she said dropped complaints and I will take down the listing. The owner of Remax Rocky we argue back and forth about him taking it down he told me you dropped the complaint against the real estate agent and I will take down your listing in a couple hours I can't believe the owner of Remax is blackmailing me can't believe it they are holding $100,000 lot from me selling it so I could buy a house. Seeing that the contract has expired, I would like Remax to take their name off the contract and their logo. Remax there is no contract you are holding my listing and the MSL listing without a contract. I think that's fraud I called corporate office 2 weeks ago they sent the letter out to Rocky about the contract expiring and is still on MSL listing 2 weeks later right now it is still on the listing and now he's committing fraud, and blackmail. Thanks for listening I want to let you know if this does not work I am not going to stop I'm going to go to the newspapers and file a story about it you have a nice night sorry for the trouble that your agent and your owner and the broker is causing you the owner of the company is not afraid he's not afraid that's why he's blackmailing me you have a nice evening thank you for listening

Re/Max Fraudulent items stated by a remax agent in order to withhold our $7000 damage deposit.

SUMMARY:

We paid a $7,500 damage deposit for a Las Vegas rental home. At the end of our 12-month term, the Remax Agent (Chad Andrew) listed $7,000 worth of damages to the home and property. Many of these items were fictitious, created by his agency to withhold our damage deposit.

DESCRIPTION:

Chad Andrew Remax (located at 10075 S Eastern Ave, Henderson, NV 89052) was our property manager while residing at 53 Smokestone Ct, Las Vegas, NV 89110.

During our stay, we walked into a little bit of a loaded gun. The house was infested with scorpions, and we received numerous bites. Every time we tried to contact our Remax Property Manager on the phone, the secretary was beyond rude, making it impossible to solve the initial issue we were trying to accomplish in the first place. It wasn't until we called the Remax office and threatened to bring in a jar of scorpions and scatter them around the office before they sent an exterminator and acknowledged the problem. Their team was incompetent and professional, and I say that in the nicest of ways.

We also witnessed a pool maintenance guy come to the house and attempt to remove the saltwater pool system, even though the owners (who we were in touch with) never gave Remax the permission to remove or replace it.

Throughout our tenancy, we actively tended to the exterior landscaping, and both yards were much healthier when we left than when we arrived. One day while purchasing plants for our outdoor porch, Chad Andrew happened to stop by the property and recommended that I should not plant these particular plants in the ground, for heat reasons (more on this later).

In the week leading up to the end of our tenancy, Chad Andrew's Agency hired a photographer to visit the property and take photos of the interior and exterior of the home. We kept the home in excellent condition while we lived there and spent hundreds of dollars to have the home professionally cleaned. When the photographer arrived, he walked through the house, taking hundreds of photographs, stating numerous times that this was one of the cleanest, most well preserved rental homes he had documented.

We expected to receive our damage deposit in full upon leaving at the end of our term. $7500 was a significant amount to us and was much needed for us to find a new place to live.

When we went to pick up our deposit check from Chad Andrew Remax, we were handed a long list of damages to the home and property. At the top of the list was a $2000 charge for a new fridge (even though the photographer noted no damage during his visit) followed by charge for stealing plants (even though he saw us planting new plants). There were many other items of this nature, summing to a total of $7000 in damages. These people are totally scrupulous and I would not recommend any association that has anything to do with Chad Andrew and the Remax team.

We could not understand how a professional agency could do something like this and leave us with less than $500.

Desired outcome: Reimbursement of our withheld damage deposit ($7,000)

Re/Max Overdue payment

So back in [protected] Remax owned 1019 Ross they where under the name High Quality Homes LLC. I had to do an emergency move from there because it ended up having Lead through the apartment and yes broad of health came out to test it was unsafe to live there. And I had to move so when I moved everything was great got my deposit back everything. Now that I am applying for apartments to move in 2022 they are stated I owe 2,995. Now I have proof that it was paid in full I never owed anything. And Mara Harpernick for Remax in Cincinnati Ohio 8240 Clara Ave 45239 claims she doesn’t know anything about this when I have proof because she printed off the paper and sent this information to apartments that I’m trying to get. I also have proof with her name on it where she had high Quality homes with the same Remax number. I just want this cleared out of my name so I can apply for apartments with no problem. And Mara Harperink sent me email well her front desk stated that they do not know anything about this when I have proof they and they cannot help me.

Desired outcome: I won’t this cleared off my name so I can apply for house apartments with no problem.
