Popsocket is a tough nut to crack when it comes to returning, exchanging, or reviewing your purchase. I recently got my hands on a gorgeous Paua Abalone-Black Mosaic, but unfortunately, it had a tiny chip on the outer edge. I don't think it's fair to pay so much for a product that has such a significant flaw that could potentially harm it in the future.

I talked to customer service a bunch of times and my order status page still says it hasn't shipped. I only bought so much from them because I bought a lot from them before like 4 years ago and it was fine. But now this company is garbage!.. I tried to cancel my order a bunch of times to get my money back but it didn't work. Don't waste your time or money with this terrible company.

Wow, PopSockets LLC is amazing! I talked to Ryan in the live chat and he was so chill and totally got what I was saying. It's important to give these reps a chance to hear you out before you judge the whole company. Like, stuff happens, you know? Sometimes it's just human error or tech problems. We should all think before we write reviews, because these people are doing their best to help us out. Not everyone is great at customer service, but a little kindness goes a long way. Ryan totally made my day with his smile!
This company ain't what it used to be
This company ain't what it used to be. They changed their product and the quality ain't what it used to be. Before, their stuff was good and you could move it around. Now, the grips are loose and spin around. The bases are stronger but you can't move them and stick them again. I told them about it and they said sorry and would send me a new base, but it's been 2 weeks and I ain't heard nothing. You can't trust them to fix their mistakes. It's sad to see a good company and product go down the drain.

I talked to customer service on 10/08 and asked them to cancel my order. They said they could cancel it because it was ordered within the last hour. They said I would get an email confirming the cancellation within the next hour. I never got the email. I talked to customer service again and they said they could only give me a screenshot as proof, but the screenshot doesn't work. I tried it on different devices. I have no proof of cancellation and when I check my order status, it doesn't say it's canceled. They said it could take *** business days for my bank to give me a refund, but when I talked to my bank, they said they didn't get a refund from this company. I don't know why it's so hard to give me an email confirmation. *** wasn't very helpful and didn't care. I want my money back and I won't buy from this company again.

I have been a PopSockets user since 2016 and have never had this many issues with customer service or products until now. PopSockets advertises "hassle-free returns." Currently, they are advertising the following: "Due to the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19), the PopSockets Boulder office is temporarily closed. All product returns and refund requests shall now proceed along the following lines. (i) If your refund request relates to a product defect, please provide a photo or video and we'll issue your refund as quickly as possible. Submit a request here to get started on the refund process. " I submitted an original refund request for a defective PopGrip Item No. *** on 26 April, Refund Request: ***. I sent a video of the PopGrip top falling off and unable to be secured to the base even though there were no breaks, cracks, or any other reason why the top would have fallen off. The item became defective after about a month after ordering, and therefore, about only two weeks after use. On 28 April, I received an email from a PopSocket representative stating he could not view the attached video and I then sent pictures of the defective item on 28 April. I continued to explain that I had placed several orders and that I was unable to identify the specific order number associated to my purchase, requesting that PopSockets search for my order number given the item number, name, credit card information, and date range. I was charged for different PopSockets orders on 16 March, 21 March, 30 March, and refunded for one of these orders on 3 April. I believe the order I am requesting to be refunded for was made on or around 25 March. (There were so many orders because the new PopGrip, which I had ordered, is made so that it is no longer compatible with original accessories like the PopMount, requiring more orders). I also gave all other PopSockets order numbers associated with my name and the timeframe. On 9 May, after only receiving automated responses and no follow-up response, I sent a follow-up requesting an update on the status of the refund request. On 15 May, I sent another follow-up requesting an update on the status of the refund request and have not yet received a reply other than an automated response.
I placed an order on 5/11. The order had not shipped by 5/17, so I contacted customer service by email/form on their website requesting an estimate for shipping. They replied within an hour saying it would be shipped on or before 5/30. I replied that is too long as I am ordering a phone case and I do not wish to have my new phone unprotected that long. I asked for them to cancel my order and issue a refund (which should not be a problem, as it has not shipped yet.) No response. Sent another form/email from their website on 5/18, no response. Tried again on 5/19, no response. Cannot find a customer service number to resolve this directly, so I am filing on ComplaintsBoard.com.

I purchased a popgrip burts bees popsocket 4/18. I have never purchased from this retailer before. Their website as well as every advertising email I get from the advertises "no risk shopping" and "hassle free returns." Today is 4/23 and my item still has not been shipped which I understand. I contacted the company to cancel the order which I find a reasonable request since the item has not been shipped. They advised they could not cancel the order even though they have delays in shipping and can not tell me when it will be shipped. They told me I could return the item, but I would be responsible for the shipping cost. The items this company sells range from 7- 20 dollars, in other words the cost of shipping it back would not be worth the refund in some cases. I feel mislead by this companies claims of "risk free shopping" and "hassle free returns." My order number for reference *** All I want is for my order to be cancelled or to be provided a return label with paid postage so I can return it whenever it ends up arriving.

Take note I have purchased multiple times with Popsockets and this was my first time encountering that my usual address cannot be recognized. After a while my order was not shipped and I had to follow up continuously and found out my order was shipped via Fedex and not UPS EXPEDITED which I paid for. They refunded shipping costs, time pass by and 10th March arrived but my package indicated still in the USA. I had to contact their customer service again and was informed that they had an issue with my order and had to fully refund me without further explanation. I contacted their live chat and then found out that it was due to licensing issue. I was advised to place my order again without licensed products. I did. Item was shipped and was wondering why the tracking shows error. I emailed customer service again and they casually said oh it's in transit please use this tracking link. I found out that it was not shipped with UPS expedited which I have paid for and all this change was not informed or consulted with me prior. I demanded for an answer and they have not respond to my query and formal email complaint against them. I felt as a customer was put under duress and my rights as a customer has been harassed. I have demanded that my order to be re-shipped with any courier but expedited and door to door service. They are not able to offer this and insisted to figure out how the shipping method was changed. They have not gotten me with a response yet and hence filing this complaint via here as I have been put under all this hassle by Popsockets. No transparency and clarification provided proactively and me as customer have to go above and beyond to figure out the why.
