Petco review: Your employee calling animal control 1

On October 1st 2023 I had an appointment at 11:41 at your Petco location on Santa Rosa Ave in Santa Rosa Ca my dog Oso had an appointment with Veto to get his final rabies shot so I can get him licened and registered. After his vaccination I left some paperwork in my car I asked if I could leave my dog there but they requested that I take him with me. Oso is a long-haired German Shepherd puppy who just turned one years old, he is a huge animal and is very intimidating and his barks are very loud but he's a gentle giant. Because it was too hot to put him in my vehicle I tied him to a tree ran back into the store dropped off paperwork and as I'm exiting your store one of your employees is screaming at me accusing my dog of biting people your employee is screaming at me telling me to get my damn dog out of there over & over & over adding more stress to me & my dog but also getting the attention of all the customers in the parking lot and spreading fear amongest them. I am frantically trying to get my huge dog back in my car so we can leave and go home. Another customer in the area said to me you better get your dog out of here she is calling animal control and they're going to take your dog away again my stress evels are now even higher. Not only did she call animal control she called the police department and when they arrive they approach me as if I have this mean visious out of control animal thats been running wild bitting people because thats why your employee is telling them on the phone, keep in mind I had my dog in my constrant the entire time and was not running anywhere. After talking to your employee animal control came back and told me they were taking my dog away because your employee said there was two people that got bit. When I asked if these two people are still here I was told no they went home!? I am trying to get a copy of this report as I don't think your employee has a name or a victim there saying they were attacked by my dog, she can't cause it never happened. So animal control was going on her word that my dog bit somebody. There was also an eyewitness who worked in a nearby store that told animal control she saw the whole thing and my dog didn't bite anybody. But he seem to refuse her testimony as I don't recall animal control asking her name or even writing down what she was saying and went by the word of your employee. The trauma both me and my dog had to go through was devastating and it has left me crying and feeling horible that my por doog had to go through all this trama because of what your employee has said to police $ animal control. I have a gut feeling your employee filed a fault report but I won't know that until I get a copy of report from animal control. If there is no name or victims on this report then your employee filed a false report. I suggest if there are cameras in your parking lot you save them as we will need this if we go to court. I have already gotten legal console and will be following up on this incident. Your employee was very rude and yelled at me the entire time telling me to get my damn dog the hell out of there as I'm frantically trying to get my dog back into my car. If indeed there is no evidence of my dog biting anybody you will be hearing from me again and/or my lawyer.On that same note if he did bite someone I will need to see about finding him a different forever home.
