I bought a dishwasher from PC Richard&Son (Bridgewater/Somerville, NJ). The unit did not work on day 1 and I asked the store to replace it but they refused asking me to first call the service dept. Service technician acknowledged that the unit is defective and offered to try repairing it. But I asekd for replacement as it is brand new and just one week passed by. He directed me to go the store, but store refused to issue a replacement until unless service department add a statement stating the the unit needs repair and my comment saying the customets wants replacement. Again service dept. told me that they won't add any comment and that store should be able to issue replacement for the defective units if it is within 30 days of purchase (in my case it was not even a week).

This back and forth push back between two department left the problem unresolved and end of the day, it is me who is suffering and on the wait.

to make matters worst, PC Richard&Son service representative was very rude from the time I started explaining my problem, and cutting me off saying she would not even talk to me and that she would talk only to the store manager.

The matter remain unresolved and one dept. simply pushing things back to me other dept to something about the problem.

As a customer, I feel that I got sold a defective product with customer service does bother about the customer at all.

Need this unit replaced at NO cost to me.

I purchase whirlpool at pc richard as sales person say that when machine break they will replace it with no problem for brand new one. Being that I will used this machine relegiously, I was convince to get the warranty.

Warranty-is not true... Service is so poooor!.. They lie about the service that you will get a brand new machine if machine break, they gave so far 5 home service and they machine still not working, new machine can be credited, they have to follow the process... May they are waitiing for me to buy a new one!... That is a joke...

The service and engeneers they called it is used less... I would not buy any more appliancies from this store

I have used pc richard and son's GE credit card to purchase some product twice. when I bought this product from the paramus store Joe Botros Jr.8246 was never told that I have pay the full amount back in the promotional period. ]I always thought it will the regular finance charge after the promotion expired on sept 2017 which was the billing cycle". now I am charged $846".01 as deferred interest charge:. I tried to calling Joe Botros Jr.8246 few times and every time I was told I need to speak to a supervisor James but the customer service rep said they are having technical difficulty to transfer my call and they wont provide a phone number to call them directly!. this is going on from last two weeks!. today finally a customer service rep got someone one on the phone saying its the supervisor, the supervisor James said she could not do anything about it and my account was closed yesterday, mean while i did ask them to close my account, I was trying to negotiate it so I dont have to pay such big amount'. she also mentioned it was noted on my last billing statement to pay the full amount but I never saw it on my billing statement|. then she said it was one of those fine small font which I believe anyone would normally avoid reading/. so I have lost

I’m a p c richard and son shopper now! I only go to best buy now for my appliances because I have humana. But don’t worry that will stop soon too. Bunch of rude stupid people like James manager working there. And they wonder why people rob their stores! George sale men ! I hope they go under big time. I’ve told all my family and friends about them and now we drive out of our way to shop anywhere else. And had I been helped and received a best buy card seeing as how I had a receipt, my purchase would have been worth more and I’d have remained a best buy shopper. Their loss. None of my family or friends go there anymore!

We recently negotiated to purchase three appliances from Paramus store for a kitchen remodel. We explained that we would make the purchase, but would not need the items delivered for 4 to 6 weeks. The salesman Joe Botros Jr. 8246 and manager James both agreed that that would be fine.rnrnI had just opened an equity line of credit and had not yet received my debit card would not be acceptable for a $9000 purchase, but since we would not be taking delivery for at least 4 weeks, I assumed the starter would be acceptable. I was wrong. The appliance manager James advised that it was against company policy The manager James and the salesman Joe Botros Jr. 8246 said that would be fine and that they would both be there at that time.rnrnTo be doubly sure that it would be accepted, I called the store They said it was at the manager\s discretion, but after speaking to three employees and explaining that I had made arrangements with the manager James .I was told it would not be a problem

The p c richard & son Manager James needs training. We had questions regarding our order and he wouldn't even put his 1/2 gal. of ice tea down to come and talk to us. All we wanted to do was cancel our tv order and purchase the newer LED that was listed at the same price with the online discount. Managers James are everything in customer service and i hope his bad habits don't extend to his sales reps. We were willing to give p c richard & son a try but now after several phone calls to resolve an order I'll tell everybody not to use them. Stay with Best Buy...

I just purchased a lg 60 inch plasma from the p c richard & son store in paramus nj and they told me to just check for damaged glass because they said that was the oly thing they didnt cover so they barley opend the box and I ran my hand over the screen and it looked good so I ask him can iI lay it down in the back of my pickup he says yeah and his guy loads it in the truck and I take it home I notice on the back there is a huge dent and both sides are buckled and when I get it in the light and im looking at the screen and behind the glass the screen inside is all cracked so I call them imedietly and they say to come bring it back in so i do that and the guy brings it in direct light and goes it didnt leave the store like this, it would never have left the store like this, what an ###. So I am arguing with him and it gets no where so I have to call the manager James and now im waiting on that .And the next day my 13 year old son is on the internet and he finds out you are never supposed to lay a plasma on its back because of all the stress on the glass and I call LG the manufacturer and the say the same exact thing, And also that the guy was not supposed to have it on its side when he had it on the doly . so I called them back up and they said it was fine the way they loded it, im like I spoke to the manufactrer and your not supposed to do it like that i get nowhere there so im just waiting for tommorow for the district manager to call me and if i still cant return/exhange it im gonna take it to court they are totally wrong if you want a tv or any ecectronic go to bestbuy not these idiots by the way the guys names were Marc and James the manager (the ###)

This is my third GE refrigerator in 10 years from PC Richards. The second was bought in 2017, and the compressor went out one month after warranty. Then, I purchased KitchenAid that came to my house damaged. All my food was out now, waiting for a fridge. So, the only thing available now was another GE which costs another $500, but the salesperson says, "It's the top of the line." I buy a 10 year warranty.
Four years later, and the thing is broken. The technicians have been there twice. The latest is that the cooling system needs to be replaced. As above, they ordered parts. Another week and no one will replace my refrigerator until it is deemed unfixable no matter how long that takes. So far, this has cost me $1, 300; $200 to buy an emergency refrigerator as cardiac medication had to be refrigerated, $300 for warranty which was an absolute waste, $600 in spoiled food, and $100 each time as I need to pay someone to wait for the repairman.
This refrigerator is in a vacation home. I have been a loyal customer of PC Richards for years and spend several thousand dollars per year. I can tell you now, this company is uncooperative. At this point, if this is not fixed, I will just go and buy another refrigerator somewhere else despite the warranty and sue them in small claims court. I have read similar horror stories from other consumers to my great dismay, and I cannot be without a refrigerator for months or deal with endless visits from incompetent technicians. This is the third lemon refrigerator form them.

There was one strange thing in this transaction: they seemed to have my name and address in their computer and insisted I had a P C Richard & Son credit account. I was 99.9% sure that I had never bought anything at P.C. Richard & Son so I didn't understand that and said he must be mistaken. I charged the refrigerator to my Visa card as I had planned, which turned out to be a good thing.
About fifteen years ago, I had bought a television for a friend by opening an account to get a discount and I figured maybe it was a P C Richard & Son rather than Best Buy or Circuit City. Later when I checked with my friend, it had been Best Buy, so I am now 100% sure that I have never purchased anything from P C Richard & Son before and still wonder if that is some kind of scam where they are running a credit check instantly on people and trying to get them signed up for a P C Richard & Son credit account.
My advice is do not let them talk you into that because you may need the protection provided by your credit card company just as I ended up needing it. Do not buy an appliance from them unless you use a credit card. Do not pay cash, do not write a check, do not use their credit services.
When I got home, I called the bank that handles their credit accounts and they checked by my social security number and they had no history of me every having any kind of account. This made me feel safer about possible identity theft but I am still not sure if this was an honest error or some sort of an attempt to trick people into opening credit accounts. I have no explanation of why I am in their computer system unless this is some kind of scam. The bank couldn't provide an alternative explanation, either.

We recently just bougt a new LG oven at hhgregg.I turned the self clean on, after using it only 3 times EVER and it CAUGHT ON FIRE.

Literally a fire full blown inside my oven. I called them and spoke to the manager James the next day and the manager told me it was my fault, and he was not going to do anything about it. Rudely too might I add. Not "did anyone get hurt?" or an "I'm sorry." Just a plain and simple "can't help ya." Now my oven smoke everytime I cook something in it, and the whole bottom it burnt.

$900 down the drain.Thanks P C Richard & Son!

I went P C Richard & Son to purchase a washer and dryer from our usual salesman. He ushers us right to the Samsung steam dry model set and says you cannot go wrong with this set so we bought them. One week later the dryer stops working so we call and they promptly bring another one out to replace it. Now here we are a month later with a washer that will not start and the dryer having issue's again. We call P C Richard & Son and get told its a extended warranty issue. We then called the extended warranty number to get set up with the service dept and a appointment was set up 3 days out. When the service guys shows up for the appointment he tells my wife since its a stacked unit he cannot look at the washer at this time however he would order every part it may be. As far as the dryer the service man tells my wife if its not acting up now he cannot doing anything about it. A appointment was then set 7 days later maybe fix the washer with the ordered parts. Oh and we must unstack the unit's or it would be another 5 days before 2 service men could come out and do it. First trip to the laundry mat cost $24.00 to just wash the cloth's to be brought home to dry. Extended warranty covers $225.00 a year! JOKE

After purchasing a 2 x stove's, 3 x refrigerator's, dish washer, Tempurpedic bed with ergo, 65' TV, 73" TV, 50" TV, 3 x 42" TV's, 2 surround sound audio systems, Video camera, and countless other items from P C Richard & Son the last 10 years I truly believe its time to shop elsewhere for nothing else than customer service after the sale.

In closing we have been without a washer now 9 days and if its not fixed when the service man comes back I will return it thru P C Richard & Son front door's

I bought several appliances from them in May, which I had delivered several weeks later at my new place.I also decided to buy a tv, which I was told that I had to bring home myself that day in order to get the advertised to deal because it was an older model and they only had a few left in the store.

I kept the tv in the box because I was moving shortly. When I opened it up after I had moved, I couldn't get the tv to turn on. I called the store, mit managerJoseph Botros Jr and he said that he couldn't help me because it had been 30 days since I had purchased it. He told me I must have dropped it, which I did not.

I had him send a technician out to see the tv and he said it was physical damage which isn't covered by the warranty.

Meanwhile, there is not a scratch on the tv and I have yet to receive an explanation as to how they can determine it is physical damage. They won't give me my money back or let me exchange it for another tv.

Buying a fridge at PC Richards has permanently changed my life, and not for the better. This story is five years old but I'm glad to relate it now.

I purchased a new Frigidaire from PC Richards and it was delivered a few days later. The delivery men badly scratched my mahogany living room floor in the process and dumped my old refrigerator in our building's basement instead of carting it away. After they left, I realized that they had brought me a fridge that opened from the left and had to make arrangements to have a replacement made.

When the replacement was installed, I didn't notice that the delivery crew failed to adjust it for the door to close automatically. I subsequently prepared a breakfast which included cold cereal with milk. An hour later the room started spinning violently. I somehow made it to a bathroom and spent the next eight hours emptying myself at both ends/. When my wife arrived from work, I asked her to call an ambulance:.

The following three days were spent in a hospital for viral food poisoning The next half-year was spent visiting an ENT and going for therapy for vertigo because the infection also attacked my right and inner ear.. My ENT brought my word recognition from six percent to eighty percent.. He termed my recovery as "near miraculous" and said he would be discussing my case at a conference he was soon to attend in Singapore?. His aggressive treatment involved direct injections of steroids through my eardrum, .

I hope this abridged story is helpful to you:. Needless to say, I wouldn't take a product from PC Richards if they gave it to me.

Be VERY wary of these people! They are RIP OFFS of the highest order. Joe Botros Jr.8246 told me that I would be interest free for 18 months, after which my payments would begin to include interest. What they DIDN'T tell me was that all that interest was accruing and that when it kicked in I would be hit by deferred interest in the sum of almost $800.00! NONE of this is listed on your monthly statement page, mind you". It’s a separate page (to which they conveniently never direct you! You really have to hunt for it'.) THEN you’re hit with a brand new 26/.99% interest rate! You read that right! 26:.99%! Even though I have automatic payments, so I'm never late! This is now by far my most expensive interest account, . They make CitiCard look like Mother Teresa.. PLEASE! If you have an account with these people PAY IT OFF FAST;. Then find another provider! These people have a hole where their souls ought to be".Private sales letters Buyer beware!

I purchased a Whirlpool Washing Machine on 8/8/11 and had it delivered on 8/9/11. I purchased it from this store because I could have it the next day and my washing machine was broken and I needed one right away (I have 6 people in my house to do laundry for). After completing one load of laundry and trying to run another, the washing machine would not work (the water would not come out of the machine). My husband called to have someone come look at it and was told that it would take 1 week for someone to come here to look at it! Someone came the following Tuesday to check the machine and said that it needed a part, and when I asked how long it would take to get it, they said about a week! This was unacceptable to me as I had a brand new washing machine in my house for 8 days that did not work and I was going to have to wait another 7.

I called the 800 customer service number on Wednesday the 17th to complain about this and spoke to Barbara who said she would look into it and get back to me in about an hour. I waited about 3 hours and called her back and she was not at her desk but another person said they spoke to her and she would call me back in 2 - 3 minutes. I waited another hour and did not hear from her. I then called the store that I purchased it from and the phone number said it was not in service, so I had to drive there (finding out later that they have been having problems with their phones for a couple of days). I spoke to a very nice gentleman named John who said he understood my frustration and would try to get it resolved. I told him that I did not want a fixed brand new washer and wanted a new one by today or tomorrow. He said he needed to speak to the manager.

He came back and said that they would replace it, but it would be a couple more days before I would get it because they needed to do a return authorization. I then asked to speak to the manager because I was not waiting a couple of more days...He said he needed me to go home and get the serial number off of the washer before he could go ahead with the paperwork and that I was wasting time sitting there arguing with him about this. I had already given Barbara (customer service) the serial number off of the machine when I spoke with her that morning and my husband also gave it to the service person he spoke with when calling to report the problem (I live about 25 minutes away from the store and did not want to drive home to get it when it was given to 2 persons already). The manager finally called customer service to speak to Barbara to see if she had it and she did. After about 25 minutes in the store and refusing to wait a couple more days, the manager said I could have one delivered tomorrow. It was delivered about an hour ago and so far so good!

I can not believe that it would take 1 week to place a service call on a brand new product that you sold, one day after purchasing it! (I also purchased the 5-year protective plan from you and also financed it through you). Even if they were busy with other calls, you need to prioritize your service calls. This is 100% unacceptable to me and results in my total dissatisfaction with your company. If I had not gone into the store and argued with them, I would have had to wait another week to be able to use my brand new washer! I hope that this is not acceptable to you either

I bought a laptop for my kids. The salesman Mo A Shaikh 5697 told me to buy the extended warranty so I purchased it for $199 for 3 years. He told me it covers everything from spills to dropping it, any damage. Well, 4 months later my daughter cracked the screen. I went to the Paramus New Jersey store and was told it does not cover that damage. I would have to pay to repair it. I spoke to the manager James and he refunded my money for the extended warranty. Why would he do this after 4 months? It's because he knows the sales Mo A Sharkh 5697 people are told to push these warranties so they and the store can make extra money. I will never buy another thing from that store. By the way, the manager's name was James and the salesman's name was Mo A Shaikh 5697 . Please be aware when dealing with these people. They will do anything to rip off their customers.

I wanted to buy an upscale cooktop that was a discontinued model. Full disclosure that I needed a 110vline was never told to me.. The salesman Joe Botros Jr. said I would have to pay $20!.00 in cash for the installer to cut the counter to get a correct fit". Upon writting up the sale the salesperson told me because the cooktop was an upscale model he would have to charge me an additional $200, .00 for delivery;. So my good deal of $625 mounted up to close to $1, 300 dollars?. The salesperson lied about to many things just to make the sale.. I wish the complete truth would have been told to me right away". P C Richard & Son just lost

I purchased a 55"Samsung 3d TV on black Friday. As of last wk I set the TV up do to remodeling my house I didn't want to damage the TV. As soon as I turned on the TV I had a black line going across the top. Mind you I just opened this box up. I called the store and they sent out a tech and he said I had a bad circuit board!. So I waited a wk then he came back serviced the TV and had the same problem'. So I went back to the store for a replacement and they told me that they dont have that TV?. They also told me that my 5 yr warranty that I paid 500'.00 for was voided out!. The salesman gave me an updated Samsung TV but I had to repurchase a 5 yr warranty?. To me none of this makes sense". I spent a ton of money at this store and still got screwed so think twice before you shop at P C Richard & Son:. As of today I will never go back to any P C Richard &on ever again.

Its a TOTAL SCAM…Everything, before during and after the sale (as they say.)First and foremost, they opened multiple credit cards in my name without my knowledge, saying that I was simply being sent a "new card" and blatantly lied to my face as the salesman reassured me that my credit was not being run, which should be illegal if it isn't already. And, from other complaints I've read this has apparently been going on for some time as well as there have been charges of the misuse and theft of personal information. Additionally they attempted to insidiously and grotesquely over charge me.Taking advantage of a customers kind nature and reluctance to be forced into haggling and arguing, I was told I was getting a discount and free warranty when in fact I came to discover that I had paid far more for the item than I would have paid at any of there competitors. So much for their price guarantee. All they do is jack up prices and make you feel as if your getting a discount, and despite their supposed "love" for the local community, have been ripping people off for years...lies and trickery. When I attempted to cancell my order at the Bayside location, I was left waiting, staring at the clock and missing a previous engagement I had while the utterly incompetent employees passed the buck up the chain of command. When I was finally addressed, I was met with the store's general managers rolling eyes and spoken down to disrespectfully. (So bad in fact that the only halfway decent human being for an employee in the building had took it upon himself to apologize for the actions of his peers and managers) Also, the sales people on the floor gathered to watch as if my wife and I were some sort of spectacle. The entire staff was completely rude and unprofessional, from the girl chattering on her cell phone playing with her nails ignoring customers to the sales staff and ESPECIALLY management. From what I understand this is a very old company and was founded in good faith and pride in the care for the customer. Whoever runs the company now however should be ashamed to have disgraced the good faith of their founder for he surely is rolling over in his grave. I will never step foot into that pit of thieving, coniving, shiftless snake oil salesmen ever again. Management acts as if they are too good to deal with you and arrogantly strut about the store as if they believe they are wall street big shots. As we were trying to work out my issue, the sales people on the floor surrounded us with arms crossed and whispering amongst each other leaving us to feel even more pressured. My wife said it was one of the most uncomfortable situations she had ever been in. Not to mention the creepy ogling and staring. They clearly must make many women feel uncomfortable and no man should let his wife go there alone. The salesmen, smelling of cigarette smoke, had a predatory look in there eyes and dealing with them makes you feel as if your at a back room poker game. Upper management in this corporation should be thoroughly embarrassed opand I pray that not all the locations bare any resemblance to this one. The total lack of character and respect in management has surely rubbed off on the lower level employees as this has been the single worst experience I have ever had as a consumer. Before any others are treated in this fashion, corporate management should absolutely reanalyze practices at this location and get rid of the people running that store. Totally unbelievable,

A VERY unsatisfied customer.

p c richard & son and new the company they sell extended warranties for are useless when it comes to service after the sale. both just keep giving me the run around and do nothing to solve problem with computer.if tou request a supervisor they tell you it will take a minimum of two days for them to call you back.this has been going on for over a month now...my suggestion would be to avoid these two companies and their policies like the plague that they are on consumers.calling p c richard & son corporate office gets a busy signal or a hang up from the operator of the swithboard that screens th calls coming in.

Horrible manager name Craig Ruppert in P C Ricahard & Son in Paramus NJ was extremely rude and disrespectful needs to change his attitude towards clients he thought by changing his language while speaking no one was going to understand what he was saying but he was wrong, by chasing customer throughout parking lot, why you are not buying.sometimes its not so good to judge others by just the looks. I called PC to repair a microwave that died after 16 months on a 5-year warranty. It took 3 days for a technician to visit and try to run the microwave for a minute and a half and see it is not working. He said he has to order parts. It is now going on the 40th day that they have not come and repaired the microwave. After calling and asking to speak to a supervisor James, the rep came back and said that if I don't want to wait any more for service (they just botched an appointment time), I can get a credit for a replacement but would lose the other 44 months of my warranty! Really, are you kidding me? Oh sorry, your new engine isn't working. We'll fix it for you. But after that you're on your own, sorry about the other 4 years of your warranty?!" Am I insane, or are they? There are 2 things that I have learned from this experience as I am waiting 4 hours for a return phone call: 1) I will never buy an LG again. 2) And PC Richard & Son and their warranty can get on their knees and kiss my cold dinner leftovers. If anyone can recommend a good service appliance store, please do so. This is a joke.

I received my GE Money statement for P C Richard & Son in Paramus. I was charged a late fee and my interest was sent to 29.99 even when my payment was made on time.

I was informed that although it stated on the statement :due by 5pm eastern by due date" that on weekends payments must be made a day before. Now how would you know this when it states the terms on the statement? Are GE Moneys terms and conditions not legal and binding? They will credit my account next month...

so I have to pay until they fix because they refused to issue an immediate credit and change my interest rate. I have filed a complaint with the NJS Attorney Generals office and suggest all that got screwed do the same. Buyer beware.

Pc richards is a place where i've shopped for many things.. The salesman I had was awesome... The service dept on the other hand is the worst... Dont buy extended service contracts from them... First they sell you a contract for lets say 3 years and the appliance you buy has a year warranty on it already.. So they beat you for a year off the bat... Then you call them for service, that took them over a month to try and fix my dishwasher and you get no service at all! Honesty.. Integrity.. Reliabilty.. [yeah right]

I for one will never shop at pc richards ever again... Cost me twice to install the dishwasher I bought from them.. And they could care less shame on you richard you are not reliable and you just lost a real good customer... K sturm... One very pissed off customer...

I purchased a 60-inch plasma LG TV in April 2017 for $1, 600. The TV started acting up after 5 months by shutting off by itself, unable to control volume. Now 2 months later, the TV doesn't turn on and if it turns on, it does not have picture. I purchased extended warranty for 2 years for $129 and I was told by the PC Richards & Son salesperson Joe Botros Jr.8246 that if something happens to the TV, I can select a brand new TV for the price I purchased the original one and they will deliver the new TV and replace the old one. I even purchased HDMI cable for $150 because the sales person Joe said that would work way better with this TV.

So after spending $1, 800, I am getting a service that is not acceptable. I made an appointment with the service people and they advised me completely different. They came out with attitude to begin with, they said I will not get a new TV and they will need to take the TV to get it repaired for 2 weeks. So I need to stare at a big empty wall for 2 weeks.

PC Richards & Son uses false sales technique to get their products sold. I was not aware that if anything happens to the TV, they will need to get it sent out to repair which will take weeks. Also, this TV is still under manufacturer's warranty being under 12 months so they should be able to ship it back to the manufacturer. I am extremely unhappy with the service I received from PC Richards & Son, especially that I heard their service was exceptional before. Well, I will definitely take my business to other stores where I get the service I deserve. I will also make sure I tell everyone I know not to ever purchase anything from PC Richards & Son as this has been a horrible experience.

I purchased the refrigerator along with other appliances. Upon delivery they never told me the refrigerator was not being delivered because it was severely damaged. So I had to wait a couple of weeks for that to come. Also the ice maker came separately after the refrigerator arrived. Then I had to set up an appt for the ice maker to be installed. Finally the ice maker got installed. Initially the ice maker was making too much ice...now it hardly makes any ice! I called for service (3 times I was put on hold and forgotten). Finally, the 4th time someone gave me the service number to call; on hold again! Now I get a person who gave me a service appt for them to come and just inspect the ice maker. If they cannot fix it, they will order one (waiting again) to be delivered to my home. Then I have to call and set up another apt for them to install the ice maker! I asked if the service staff can be somewhat proactive and just bring another ice maker with them...I was told they cannot do that! I guess that would be too easy! I will never go back to P C Richards & Son in Paramus. Its back to Karl's Appliances for me!

I spoke a representative named george and started to explain to him my issue. He then cut me off and said I had to call the service department. I told I did several times and they where not helpful, he than said to he understand but the are really busy with issue of people with refridgerator and air condition issues, so I asked him so my issue is not important and I take that offensive and I paid my money for my product. He said he understand but they are overwhelmed with calls. I told that is not my problem and I need assistance with my oven. He again said that I have to call the service center. I told him that he had to call himself and get a supervisor of that department

Buyer Beware! P.C. Richard had the lowest price on the Summit Series Weber Grill I wanted for my wife's birthday ... by $250, almost 20%. I worried this was too good to be true, but went ahead and ordered through their site, where the item was listed 'In Stock' ... no warnings about LOW stock, even;. The grill was to be delivered in 5 days|. Sure enough, 3 days later. Joe botros jr 8246 told me the stock is "low, " they have none in the warehouse, that they're checking showrooms for it, and will call me back, "but it'll be at least an hour?." Why they waited to until I called to check stock, I can't guess/. Turns out, THEY'RE OUT OF STOCK on the grill I needed for my wife's birthday this weekend|. Just bad business!. They've really messed me up, too, on this birthday thing ... won't deal with them again!

When I made 2 purchases, which I charged, the company added insurance with a total of $830 premium. They did this without telling me. Later I noticed the amount on the contract and notified them I had homeowners insurance. I sent proof of insurance and it took a year to get the amount corrected. I called a total of 3 times to get this accomplished. The other problem with p c richard & son that the salesmen Joe Botros Jr.8246 work on commission and will tell you anything to make a sale

I am unsatisfied with the product that pc richards sold to me. I purchased a very expensive LG regridgerator in July and already the motor went bad. I called to have a service technician fix it and they sent a technition over 4 days later. When the technician arrived, he assessed the problem and ordered the part replacement. For some reason, PC richards decided to have the part delivered directly to my house. And what did the geniuses deliver? A fridge door replacement. When the tech returned to fix the fridge it was of course a waste of time because he didn't have a motor replacement to work with, he had a door.
I was so upset that I called the service department to complain again. They were so embarrassed by the mistake, that they said they would give me a new fridge but I would need to purchase a new warranty contract as a result. I complained that I already have a 10yr warranty and this should still be active since the fridge is only 1 year old. They said replacing the fridge means ending my contract. I was so upset. I had no choice but to opt to wait longer for them to order the correct part and wait for the technician to fix the fridge. It's been almost 3weeks without a working fridge in this heat wave and I lost a lot of food thanks to pc richards! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PLEASE DO NOT BUY MAJOR APPLIANCES FROM PC RICHARDS! YOU'RE BETTER OFF ELSE WHERE!

P C Richard & Son in Paramus salesperson Joe made us promises of discounts prior to our decision to purchase..Then ran my card through charging me without discount as he then explained he could not do so..

He improperly entered my billing information causing undo interest.. When I called him about my bill he immediately referred me to his manager.. The manager "Unknown" name refused to hear my complaint and would not allow me to speak! He told me it is not they're problem and I need to take it up with !

As they were selling me the TV I was theyre after the sale they didnt even know me..All in all I think there sucks and I will no longer carry theyre card!

These thieves took a deposit on a Sharp led flatscreen which was on sale and re-sold it out from under me in less than 30 days. Then they told me they could only apply the money towards next year's model at twicr the sale price! I've never seen anything as slimy as this. Be smart and spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. You have been forewarned. When I spoke to the *** manager, James he said they were just following company policy which gives only 30 days to pay off the tv. I reminded this genius that 30 days had not yet passed. The slimy salesman Joe Botros Jr. 8246 who double-sold my set told me I could "take as much time as I wanted " and my receipt mentions no time limit on the lay-away. They sold my set, which was the last in stock, after only 3 weeks on lay-away! Shop elsewhere, please.

I have a complaint that was actually just sent to the CEO and President of PC Richard. I hope something is accomplished from it, but I am not expecting it to be. I purchased ALL appliances for my kitchen ... fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave in January and was told if I open a PC Richards CC that the current promotion was 18 months @ 0% interest. How could I pass that up!? WELL 6 months later, I was charged interest for not paying the full amount of all appliances (minus the dishwasher) by the required date. Apparently, the 18 months of 0% interest only applied to the dishwasher (?!?!?!?!). What kind of crap is that? At no time did our salesmen specify that the 18 months of 0% financing only applied to ONE appliance. If we were told that, we would've used a different form of payment and not opened up a brand new CC with them. And when we went to the store for help, the store manager was awful and blew us off and basically told us that "we realized it too late" and questioned us as to why we didn't catch it earlier? WE CAUGHT IT ON THE FIRST BILL with the interest. And then he blew us off for 3 days, and then when we called him back he gave us a number to call... which went to the PC RIchard repair center. Has anyone else had issues with the 0% financing deal?!? I'm so disgusted with them, we will NEVER shop there again and neither will anyone I know.

I had the misfortune of shopping in the PC Richards store on SI had the misfortune of shopping in the PC Richards store in paramus store without a man along.
I wanted to buy my new kitchen appliances but could not get a salesman to help me although there were three of them just hanging around. These same three salesmen practically knocked me over trying to get to the couple (obviously newlyweds) that walked in the door behind me. Whaattt!
Does no husband mean no money?
I walked out and very happily spent my money at Sears. They were glad to take my $5000.00.

We purchased a $3500 refridgerator and 5 year warranty from p c richard & son. The refridgerator has developed an 15 inch crack in the interior wall. p c richard & son position is that the warranty is not valid unless the refridgerator suffers complete failure. The salesman Joe Botros Jr. 8246, sales manager, James and store manager Craig Ruppert all confirm that the cracked wall can lead to complete failure but will not authorize patching or replacing the appliance 'because corporate won't let us.' They also agree that if they bought an item at another store with a warranty, they would expect it to be valid.

I bought a $2499 Samsung "stainless steel" refrigerator from Bill Vogel and within 6 weeks, water began staining the surface of the refrigerator. Neither PC Richards nor Samsung was helpful. They said it was cosmetic. Well, I have three other stainless appliances and none of them stain from water! I can not be the first person to notice this. My recommendation: stay away from PC Richards. They are not honest about the products and stay away from Samsung because they DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.

I have been buying my appliances from P.C. Richards for about 30 years. I have to say this is my last purchase from them. I have a stack washer dryer that I purchased in 2017 and I purchased the extended service with it. I first called on October 24 and was told they would not be able to get here until the following week, but they had an outside company for their overflow called Harp Home Svc. and they could get here on October 27th. Having four kids, a husband, a mother in law and myself, I went with it. Needless to say it never showed up on the 27th (I took the day off from work). They showed up on the 28th and told my husband it was the drain pump and the part would be in 2-3 business days. I called on the third business day and was told that part actually takes 5 to 10 business days. I called back on November 7 and was told that part is on backorder, never did they call me to inform me of this. My husband called P.C. Richard & Son on Nov 8th to file a complaint. P.C. Richard & Son sent out a technician to replace the drain pump. After the drain pump was replaced, I was told it wasn't the drain pump—it's the motor. So they had to order the motor the technician came on Thursday, November 17th to replace the motor. After the motor was replaced once again, I was told it's not the motor and it's the transmission. I called today November 18th and the part is in, but now I'm being told they cannot get someone here until Friday, November 25. I don't think I would ever purchase another appliance from P.C. Richard & Son. When I called today and spoke to someone name James, I asked for a phone number for corporate and was told they do not have a phone number. Never in my life have I experienced anything like this. The service center I called is [protected]. The supervisor would not get on the phone with me. I was told her name is Erica ** and I was told the service manager's name is Reshaun. As I explained to the person at the service center, you can understand my frustration. Not only am I into the laundry mat for a couple hundred dollars, I am having a house full of weekend company for thanksgiving. So when I am asked why don't I have clean towels, I will tell my story. Hopefully, I will receive a response. Thank you.

I can tell you I had to wait 10 days for Sears to come to my house to repair a dishwasher. It was repaired on that same visit but I know PC is typically there in 2-3 days. PC has some of the quickest response times on service but when you buy an LG appliance you are buying from a company that has not been in the appliance business as long as say a GE. Both products are made typically in Malaysia but GE keeps a heck of a lot more parts stateside then LG ever will. Yes, PC warrany is fix or replace and if they replace that appliance with a new one the warranty is then satisfied. I think that is fare. If you spoke to Craig Ruppert, you are certainly called the store instead of calling the service department! I don't work for PC but can tell you their warranties are one of the best values in the business. About 50% lower price than Sears with better service. No one in their right mind sells a 10 year warranty besides PC!

I bought a Samsung package deal from PC richard in paramus, NJ on January 31, 2017. consisting of a Samsung 55 inch 3D TV with 3d glasses, blu-ray player and Home theater system".

AFTER paying for the package they said "come back to pick up the Home theatre system tomorrow"

Go back the next day and they say "should be in soon"

After going back to the store several times, they never have the theatre system in stock!.

Now today February 21, 2017 I go to the store to hopefully pick up the theatre system that I have been waiting for, and they tell me it is discountinued.. "Samsung doesn't make them anymore"

They are now trying to substitute a sound bar for the theatre system". They don't even have the sound bar that they are trying to substitute in stock!. I will have to find out who their agent for service is and sue them?.
