Origin Disappointing Experience with Origin: Unrequested Refunds and Lack of Verification Process

I recently purchased two Sims 4 games, Eco Lifestyle and Pets, from Origin on June 15, 2020. However, to my surprise, I received an email from them stating that they had refunded me for both games. I was completely confused as I had never requested a refund in the first place. I mean, why would I want to return one of the games when I got it for a great price? It just didn't make any sense to me.

I reached out to their customer service team to inquire about the refund and to see if there was any way to reverse it. Unfortunately, all they could tell me was that I would have to purchase the games again. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with their response. I mean, why should I have to pay for something twice when I never even requested a refund in the first place?

To make matters worse, there was no confirmation process for the refund order. It was simply a case of "refund request sent" without any further verification or confirmation. This is a major flaw in their system and can lead to mistakes like this happening all the time. They really need to implement a two-step process, like a bank, where you have to confirm the refund before it is processed.

I also noticed that the emails regarding the refund were sent on different days and there were no alerts or notifications about the refund being issued by me between those two emails. This is just ridiculous and shows a lack of attention to detail on their part.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Origin. I am now down two games and my gaming experience has been completely ruined. I hope they take this feedback seriously and work on improving their system to avoid similar issues in the future.

Origin Origin Review: Nightmare Installation, False Ban & No Refund - Don't Waste Your Money!

So, I was looking for a new game to play on my Windows 10 Pro laptop and stumbled upon Origin. It seemed like a great platform to buy games from, especially since I don't own a PC or PS4. I decided to purchase a game that cost me a whopping 50 dollars! However, my excitement was short-lived as I faced a lot of issues while trying to install the Origin app.

The installation process was a nightmare as I kept getting an error message without any explanation or solution. I spent almost the entire weekend trying to figure out what was wrong, but nothing seemed to work. I took a break from it and the next day, I received an email from Origin stating that I had violated their terms of agreement, which was completely false. I was shocked when they banned my account without any proper explanation or warning.

I was extremely disappointed as I didn't even get to play the game that I had spent so much money on. To make matters worse, they refused to refund my money. It was a complete waste of time and money, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to make the same mistake as I did.

I have attached an image of the false violation of the terms and conditions and the installation error that I faced. Unfortunately, since my account has been permanently banned, I don't have any proof of purchase. However, I hope that the evidence I have provided is enough to show the issues I faced while using Origin.

Origin Origin's Technical Difficulties Left Me Frustrated and Disappointed: A Review of Sims 4 Purchase

I recently had an experience with Origin that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had purchased Sims 4 as a game on the Origin website, but was informed that I could only play it once I downloaded the Origin app. I proceeded to download the app and attempted to log in with my EA account, but was met with a message stating that there were "Technical Difficulties" preventing me from accessing my game.

I tried again the next day, but encountered the same issue. Despite watching YouTube videos and reading reviews, I was unable to find a solution to my problem. It was especially frustrating as I know many people only use Origin for Sims, and it seems like a scam to not be able to access a game that I had already paid for.

I believe that Sims should be accessible through other apps and platforms, as it would make the process much simpler and less time-consuming. It's disappointing that it takes so much effort to figure out how to use the Origin website and app, only to be met with technical difficulties and wasted hours of my day.

I hope that Origin takes this issue seriously and works to improve their platform for the benefit of their customers. It's important to provide a user-friendly experience and ensure that customers are able to access the games they have paid for without any unnecessary obstacles.

Origin Frustrating Experience with Origin: A Review of EA's Online Platform for Games

I recently had a frustrating experience with Origin, the online platform for EA games. I had purchased a game and was expecting a link to download it, but instead, I was directed to download the Origin platform. This took an incredibly long time, and once it was finally downloaded, the installation process crashed multiple times.

After finally getting the platform installed, I was then able to download the game I had paid for. However, this process took an additional two hours, which was frustrating considering my brand new, high-spec Mac and top-tier internet connection. It felt like I was back in the days of dial-up internet!

Once the game was downloaded, I was excited to start playing, but unfortunately, I was met with an error message stating that I couldn't connect to the servers. This was incredibly frustrating, and it seemed like every step of the process was made more difficult by the Origin platform.

I understand that Origin is likely a way for EA to have more control and collect more data, but it felt like an unnecessary obstacle in my gaming experience. If they're going to get in between me and something I paid for, they should at least make it easy and not cause issues at every turn.

It's been days since I purchased the game, and I still haven't been able to play it. I'm in the process of trying to get a refund, but even that is proving to be difficult. It's a shame because I was excited to support the developers, but at this point, I'm considering pirating the game instead.

Origin Origin: A Frustrating Nightmare for Gamers

Origin is a platform that has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed time and time again. It seems like every time I try to log in and play a game, I am met with technical difficulties or a crashed system. It's a complete joke!

I am a huge fan of Sims games, but unfortunately, they are only available on Origin. If it weren't for this, I would never use this platform. It's a nightmare to use! I often find myself waiting for days before I can even start playing my game. It's incredibly frustrating to spend so much time waiting and so little time actually playing.

The worst part is that these issues always seem to happen on the weekends when I finally have some free time to relax and play. It's incredibly inconvenient and ruins my entire weekend. I wish that Origin and EA would get their act together and fix these issues once and for all.

I think that Origin needs to invest in better tech engineers and update their servers to handle more bandwidth. Whatever they are doing now clearly isn't working. They also need to focus on fixing the actual issues with their platform instead of just updating the website layout. Customers don't care about aesthetics if they can't even log in to play their games!

Overall, I am incredibly disappointed with Origin and would not recommend it to anyone. It's a frustrating and unreliable platform that is not worth the hassle. I hope that they can make some significant improvements in the future, but until then, I will be looking for other options to play my favorite games.

Origin Origin Account Email Change: Frustrating Experience with Help Center

I've been trying to change the email linked to my Origin account for a while now, but it's been a real hassle. I can't access my old email because I don't have the phone number associated with it anymore, and my password has expired. I've tried filling out the webforms they requested six times, and I've called them four times. Every time I call, they just tell me to fill out the webform again, even though a nice lady from the US helped me switch my email years ago when I had the same problem.

It's really frustrating because I just want to play the games I paid for. I don't want to have to buy them again. Maybe it's because I'm pregnant right now and my hormones are all over the place, but this experience has been emotional and upsetting. I'm answering all the questions as best I can, but I keep getting the same copy and paste email saying they can't verify me. And then they send me a survey like they've solved my problem, which is really annoying.

When I call, they tell me that account security is their top priority, but I've had other people on my account adding games to my library and playing online multiplayer with my account. It seems like the only one having trouble accessing my account is me. It's really frustrating and I feel like the help center is a joke.

Origin Origin's Poor Customer Service and Unwillingness to Help Retrieve Old Account

I had an account on Origin years ago to play some of my favorite Sims games. However, when I tried to log in to my old account recently, I was surprised to see that it "couldn't be found." I was perplexed as I had always used the same email and password for all my accounts. I searched for a way to retrieve my information, but to no avail. It seemed like they didn't want me to recover my old account, so I had no choice but to create a new one.

After setting up my new account, I tried to install my games on my new computer, but I encountered a problem. The code I had was not being accepted. I was frustrated as I knew that the accounts were linked, and I had used the same password for my new account. However, when I tried to use the same password, I received a message saying that I couldn't use a password I had already used. It was clear that they knew the accounts were linked, but they were not willing to help me.

I decided to use the Chat option to get some assistance. However, the man on chat was incredibly rude and unhelpful. He couldn't understand what I was trying to tell him, and it was frustrating. It would have been so simple for them to compare the information on the two accounts and verify or compare the information. If they had no information at all on another account, then it shouldn't have been considered "already redeemed."

It seems like Origin is just trying to force people into buying new games. I am not willing to rebuy all my Sims games, and I won't buy any games in the future that are in any way connected to Origin. It's a shame that they are not willing to help their customers and make things easier for them. I hope they will improve their customer service in the future.

Origin Origin Review: A Frustrating Platform That Hasn't Aged Well - Do Not Take The Membership Bait!

Origin is a platform that I have been using for quite some time now. However, I must say that I am quite disappointed with the way it has been functioning lately. It seems like Origin has not aged like fine wine, but rather like some sort of bleu cheese that has gone horribly wrong at some point. The client itself runs very slowly and often encounters problems simply launching, running, and saving games. These are essentially basic functionalities that should work seamlessly.

Things only get worse when you add in more content, such as The Sims Franchise. EA has this shiny membership that they offer, but I must warn you, DO NOT TAKE THE BAIT, IT IS A TRAP. I got the membership for 1 year for free through a promotion. I added some games to my library and played a few of them. I own all of the Sims 4 content, save the Digital Deluxe version of the base game. Eventually, my membership ran out. However, the games that were added with the Membership stayed in my library with a fun notification of "Membership Expired, reinstate to play."

Fast forward, I purchased these games on Steam. Now Steam needs Origin to launch in order to play the games. Origin thinks I need my membership reinstated to access the games. Cue endless loop of games never launching. That's just one fun example of the joyous ride that is the overly sour Origin platform.

In addition to a launcher that barely runs at the best of times, their support is next to useless, unfortunately. Three tickets where I carefully explained that I was trying to buy a product that somehow lists as owned despite not owning the item, the customer support representatives stated 'fixed' and closed the cases. I never did get to buy that product.

I cannot UNrecommend strongly enough. If you didn't buy the Sims franchise all those years ago, EA, I would never use Origin if I could get away with it. The platform is just too frustrating to use, and it seems like it only gets worse with time. I would give it a -10/10 stars if I could.

Origin Origin Internet Review: Promised the Best, Delivered the Worst

I have been having some ongoing issues with Origin and unfortunately, my attempts to remedy them have been unsuccessful. I would advise anyone to stay away from this company as they are completely useless. In fact, I am so fed up with them that my next email to them will be my last.

I recently contacted Katey from Origin in the hope that she could help me with my internet issues. I explained that I have two phone lines at my property, one in the annex and one in the house. The annex is still running BT Internet, while the house is running Origin. Both lines use the same cable from the exchange to our house, and then the cable splits to both properties.

Unfortunately, the WiFi from Origin is absolutely abysmal. To try and improve the situation, I have connected BT boosters to the annex BT router. This has helped somewhat, as I am now getting an average of 40gb from this at approximately 20m from the annex. However, when I stand next to the Origin router with the same devices, I am lucky to average at 10gb and experience constant drops. This is particularly frustrating when trying to watch TV programmes.

When I was sold Origin, I was told that it would beat or better BT. However, this has not been the case at all. I have spoken to the tech team and tried different channels as suggested, and I have also checked the gb speed hard wired which is great. However, in 2020, everything is WiFi, from phones and fridges to printers and laptops. Even my tumble dryer is connected to WiFi! Therefore, I would like to receive what I was promised, nothing less.

If all calls are recorded, then I would suggest that Origin listens to the recorded transcripts of the sales person who sold me Origin. It was clear that I was promised the best service, which has not been delivered. I am not prepared to pay ?400 odd pounds to leave the contract when Origin is not supplying what their sales person promised.

It is a bloody pain to have to deal with this issue, but I am willing to do reviews every week or so if necessary. However, I would much rather receive what I was promised or be allowed to leave the contract with no strings attached. It is only fair that I receive the service that I was promised, and I hope that Origin can rectify this issue soon.

Origin Fraud and Scam: My Horrendous Experience with Origin/EA

I want to share my experience with Origin/EA, and I must say it was not a pleasant one. I downloaded and paid for a game that crashed my Macbook, and I applied for a refund within 5 hours, but the site failed to refund me. I have since been in touch 7 times only to be told that their "specialist team" is looking into why I was unable to be refunded within 5 hours of purchase. After my third attempt at getting any kind of help, Origin/EA charged my card without permission.

I have spoken to countless customer service operators, and it seems like they are not interested in helping me. I have spent over 5 hours trying to resolve this matter, and the cases that I raised were closed without responding to me. Finally, when I contacted Ismail C today, he told me I was not eligible for a refund because the 24 hours had passed. Ismail C was downright rude, disrespectful and disruptive.

After I provided the proof that your team has admitted that it is your fault and I have confirmation that my refund request is still open, Ismail simply said "OK". No apologies for lying to me and no help to resolve the matter what so ever. I can only call what Origin has done as fraud and a scam.

I have tried to process a refund 11 times, all of which were within the 24h window. I have not launched the game since and I do not intend to as it nearly ruined my computer.

I will continue to try and process my refund, and I intend to post everywhere so that others do not have to deal with the horrendous experience of dealing with Origin and EA. It is important to be aware of the risks when buying from Origin/EA, and I would advise anyone to think twice before making a purchase from them.

Origin Origin Game Client Review: A Nightmare for Gamers

Origin is a game client that I have used and I must say, it is the worst game client I have ever used. I work in Information Technology and I have never been more frustrated trying to use a piece of software than I have with this. It is really hard to call it a game client because it is so bad. In all honesty, you would probably have a better chance of finding a pirated copy of EA's games than using Origin. It never wants to work when you're not connected to the internet, and even when you are connected to the internet, there's always some kind of issue that prohibits you from simply playing a game.

One of the biggest issues with Origin is that it is nearly impossible to modify your games because EA has a bad opinion on modding games. This is a big problem for gamers who like to modify their games to enhance their gaming experience. It is really frustrating when you can't modify your games because of the game client you are using.

Overall, I would never recommend that anyone use Origin. In fact, I would recommend staying as far away from Origin as possible. It is an absolute nightmare. If you are a gamer, you want a game client that is easy to use, reliable, and allows you to modify your games. Origin is none of those things. It is a terrible game client that will only cause you frustration and headaches. If you want to enjoy your gaming experience, stay away from Origin.

Origin Origin Review: Frustrating and Disappointing - Would Not Recommend

Origin is a platform that I have been using for a while now, and I must say that I am not impressed. Apex Legends, for instance, works fine one day, and the next day, it just stops working after an hour. It is frustrating, and I am tired of being told to restart, repair, reinstall, or do something on cmd. I mean, come on, Origin, get your act together. I am not usually like this, but I feel like choking someone for such shoddy service.

I have tried everything, but it seems like Origin just has its moments of being a piece of crap. I am sorry to say that, but it is the truth. I would not recommend Origin to anyone. Steam is way better, and even Epic is better than Origin. I have been disappointed for years, and I am tired of it.

I came back to say that I am done with Origin. I hate it, and I am passive as hell. I am bringing the hate because I understand why some people go on random shootings. It is because of businesses like Origin that frustrate people to the point of no return. I am sorry to say this, but I am angry, and I cannot help it.

One way or another, you will have to deal with the BS that Origin throws at you. I would literally choke a [censored]'s family because of how crappy Origin is. If the owner of this company cannot read what I am saying, it is because they are angering me.

In conclusion, Origin can suck my f***ing d***!

Origin Origin's Terrible Captcha System: A Frustrating Experience

So, I have this account on Origin and it's been a while since I last used it. But, I recently bought SIMS 4 and wanted to play it. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember my password, so I clicked on the "forgot password" option. And let me tell you, the captcha that they use is just terrible. It's slow, frustrating, and the worst captcha that I have ever used in my life.

I mean, seriously, every time you click on a picture, it takes like 20 seconds to load a new photo. And that's just so annoying. And then, after you finally think you've clicked on all the traffic cones, it goes "failed please try again". I spent a good 10 minutes just trying to prove that I'm not a robot.

I don't understand how a captcha can be so bad that people are failing to prove that they're not a robot after 2+ tries. It's just ridiculous. I was so frustrated that I even looked up this website to find a way to tell this company to f*ck off.

In the end, I decided to uninstall Origin for good. I just can't deal with their terrible captcha system anymore. It's just not worth the hassle.

Origin Origin: A Clunky and Complicated Platform for Launching Games

I gotta say, I'm not too thrilled with Origin. I mean, I get that it's supposed to be the go-to platform for launching games like The Sims, but why does it have to be so darn complicated? I mean, I've got all the files I need on my computer, so why do I need to deal with this third-party app just to play my game? It's a real pain in the neck, if you ask me.

And don't even get me started on the internet thing. I mean, seriously, why does Origin need to be connected to the internet just to function properly? I thought the whole point of having The Sims on my laptop was so I could play it anywhere, even without an internet connection. But apparently, that's not the case with Origin.

Another thing that really grinds my gears is how Origin likes to randomly sign me out, even though I've got the "stay signed in" option checked. And then, when I try to reset my password, I can't even click out of the window without canceling the whole process. It's like, come on, Origin, can't you make things a little easier for us?

Honestly, I don't see any redeeming qualities to Origin. The user interface is clunky and awkward, and the whole thing just feels like a waste of space on my computer. The only reason I even have it is because I'm forced to use it to launch The Sims. But if I had the choice, I'd ditch Origin in a heartbeat.

Origin Origin Review: Terrible Service with Fuzzy UI and Constant Issues

This is a terrible service. Nothing seems to work, and when it does, it's so bad that even Hoover would want to study it to improve their vacuums. It seems like the EA workers who developed this took a look at other services like Steam and Epic and said, "Yeah, let's do that, but make it terrible like everything else we do." The UI looks fuzzy and out of focus, which is a huge problem. I know that I can fix this issue in my settings, but I shouldn't have to do anything other than download the stupid service that I didn't even want, but was forced to just to play Star Wars Battlefront.

In this day and age, there are companies dedicated to helping people with a 3rd-grade education make semi-decent websites, yet Origin wasn't able to make an interface that doesn't look like it was taken on a Nokia. I didn't think that a massive organization that isn't affiliated with the US government could mess anything up this badly, but EA proved me wrong.

I have had nothing but problems with Origin, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's a shame that I had to use it just to play a game that I wanted to play. I hope that EA can fix this mess soon, or else they will lose even more customers.

Origin EA's Mismanagement Ruined the Battlefield Franchise: A Disappointing Experience

I'm a big fan of the Battlefield series and I've been playing it for years. I have to say, though, that things have changed since EA got involved. I'm not the only one who feels this way. I just want to play a game that runs smoothly and doesn't have any hackers ruining the experience. But EA seems more interested in making the game look pretty and adding fancy animations. You can probably guess how that's turned out.

EA is like a big corporation that only cares about making money. They take great games and suck all the life out of them by micromanaging everything and trying to control every aspect of the game. It's really sad to see what's happened to the Battlefield franchise. Nobody who worked on the games I loved is still at Dice, and they keep changing the gameplay in ways that nobody asked for.

It's like they're trying to alienate the people who actually enjoyed the game. And when things go wrong, they blame everything but themselves. It's really frustrating to see how little they care about their customers.

One of the biggest problems with Battlefield is the lack of anticheat measures. It's really easy for hackers to ruin the game for everyone else, and EA doesn't seem to care. They're too busy trying to make more money to bother with things like that.

But the sad truth is that EA has already ruined the franchise. They've driven away so many players that it's hard to imagine anyone coming back. And even though they're promising to do better with BF6, it's hard to believe them. The entire player base has moved on to other games, and it's unlikely that they'll come back to Battlefield anytime soon.

It's really a shame, because Battlefield used to be such a great game. But now it's just a shadow of its former self. If you're looking for a good multiplayer shooter, there are plenty of other options out there. Don't waste your time with Battlefield.

Origin Origin: A Frustrating and Clunky Platform That Leaves Gamers Stuck with No Other Choice

Back in the day, buying games from EA was a breeze. You could own them and play them whenever you wanted. But then Origin came along and changed everything. It demanded that you have an internet connection to access your games. And if you tried to log in with your correct credentials, it would scream at you, "THOSE ARENT CORRECT!" It's frustrating, to say the least. And when you try to reset your password, you'll never receive the email to do so. It's like a never-ending nightmare.

Origin is a joke. It's full of so many unforeseeable problems that it's just crazy. But what other option do we have? Is there another platform that we can use to play our favorite games? I'd do anything to be able to play The Sims 4 without any disgusting Origin interference.

It's not just the password issues that make Origin unbearable. The platform is slow and clunky. It takes forever to load, and when it finally does, it's not even worth it. The user interface is confusing and difficult to navigate. And don't even get me started on the customer service. It's non-existent.

But despite all of these issues, we still use Origin. Why? Because we have no other choice. We're stuck with it. And that's a shame. We should have the freedom to play our games whenever we want, without any interference from a platform that doesn't even work properly.

In conclusion, Origin is a mess. It's frustrating, slow, and difficult to use. But until there's another option, we're stuck with it. And that's a shame.

Origin Origin's Ban Policy is Frustrating and Unfair: A Cautionary Tale

I recently had a frustrating experience with Origin, the online gaming platform. I had not logged into the app or played any of their games for a year, but when I finally did, I found that my account had been banned for two weeks. The reason? Apparently, I had used an avatar that was not mine, but was actually copied from their own list.

I was shocked and confused by this decision, and immediately reached out to customer support for more information. Unfortunately, I quickly discovered that their customer support is outsourced to India and is not double-checked by any other authority. As a result, they were unable to provide me with any useful information or details about why my account had been banned.

To make matters worse, the ban affected my entire app, which meant that I was unable to access any of my paid games. I was extremely frustrated by this idiotic ban policy, and felt like I had given them money for nothing.

Overall, I would caution anyone considering using Origin to be very careful. If you are planning to buy games that are strictly linked to the Origin app, be aware that a wrong ban could prevent you from ever accessing your purchased games. In my opinion, it's simply not worth the risk.

Origin Origin's Nightmare: Frustrating Download, Installation, and Customer Service Experience

I remember buying a game from Origin about two years ago, and boy was it a nightmare trying to download and install it on my computer. The instructions were so unclear and roundabout that I found myself surrounded by codes, CDs, and applications, with no idea what to do next. I eventually gave up, feeling frustrated and defeated.

However, last night I decided to give it another try after realizing that the same game wasn't available in the App store. I waited all night for it to download, and I was so excited to finally play the game I had paid full price for more than two years ago. But when I tried to launch the game this morning, I was met with an "unknown error" message, and it quit every single time.

I tried to contact customer service through the chat feature, but for some reason, the button wouldn't click even though I had filled out all the required fields. I was so disappointed that my two-year-old game and I wouldn't be able to rendezvous, and if I could go back in time to any location, I would go back to Walmart two years ago and knock that game out of my hand so I would have never heard of Origin.

Overall, my experience with Origin has been frustrating and disappointing. The unclear instructions and technical difficulties have made it nearly impossible for me to enjoy the game I paid for. I hope that Origin can improve their customer service and technical support so that others don't have to go through the same frustrating experience.

Origin Origin: A Frustrating Gaming Platform That Falls Short of Expectations

Origin is a gaming platform that has been around for a while now, and it seems like the people who run it just don't care about the gaming community. It's frustrating to see a platform that could be so great fall short due to a lack of effort and attention to detail.

One of the biggest issues I have with Origin is that it seems to forget who I am every time I open it. Despite clicking the "remember me" button, it still can't seem to remember my email or password. It's a small thing, but it's incredibly frustrating to have to enter my login information every time I want to use the platform.

Another issue I have with Origin is its updates. They never seem to be good, and they often cause more problems than they solve. I really only use Origin for a few specific games, like C and C and Battlefield, but if it weren't for those games, I would be completely for using Steam instead.

When it comes to actually using the platform, it's hit or miss. Sometimes it loads games just fine, but other times it can be a headache trying to navigate the game library, especially when using offline mode. I used to think that my issues with Origin were due to my old laptop, but even with my new, high-end PC, I still experience the same issues.

Overall, I wish someone could win a lawsuit against Origin and force them to either improve or go bankrupt. It would be great if Steam could buy out all of Origin's assets and we could finally be free of the nightmare that is Origin.
