Noom Disappointing Experience with Noom: Overcharging, Unwanted Subscription, and Poor Customer Service

I recently decided to give Noom a try and unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one. Right from the start, I noticed that they had overcharged me despite the fact that I had purchased a special deal they were offering. When I received my bill, I was shocked to see that I had been overcharged. It took me several attempts to get them to correct the mistake.

To make matters worse, I then found myself in a subscription that I didn't even want. They kept charging me even though I had not authorized the subscription. Throughout my trial period, the app kept freezing and I had to call their tech support team multiple times for help. The only advice they gave me was to cancel the app and re-download it to see if that would fix the issue.

I was extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I received. The reps I spoke with had accents that were difficult to understand and it was clear that they were trained to deny any requests for credits or returns. It felt like they were more concerned with making money than with providing quality service to their customers.

Overall, I would not recommend Noom to anyone. Their lack of transparency and poor customer service left a bad taste in my mouth. If you're looking for a weight loss program, there are plenty of other options out there that are more reliable and trustworthy.

Noom A Comprehensive Review of Noom.com: Effective App, Beware of Automatic Renewal Policy

I just finished my annual subscription with Noom.com, and overall, I have to say I enjoyed the experience. I decided not to use a coach this time, and instead just used the app to track my weight and meals. The daily articles were also a nice touch, and I found myself learning quite a bit about healthy habits and nutrition.

One thing I will say, though, is that the automatic renewal policy caught me off guard. I had signed up for the annual subscription because it was cheaper, but I didn't realize that it would renew without my consent. When I tried to cancel, I was surprised to find that the contract stated it would be automatically renewed. This was frustrating, and I had to make a phone call to Noom to try and sort it out.

While the customer service representative was polite and helpful, it still took some time for me to get the refund that I wanted. I ended up having to cancel the subscription through my PayPal account, and only then did Noom offer me a one-time courtesy refund. It was certainly time consuming, and I felt that the process could have been clearer from the start.

That being said, if you're someone who is interested in using Noom, I would encourage you to be aware of the recurring charges. While I ultimately got my refund, I think it's important to know what you're signing up for before you commit. Overall, I still think Noom is a valuable resource for anyone looking to improve their health and wellness, and I would recommend it to others.

Noom Noom Customer Service Refused to Refund Me: My Disappointing Experience with Noom

I decided to give Noom a try last week, as I signed up for a free 7 day trial on March 16th at 3:00 p.m. However, after a week, I had actually gained 2 pounds, so I decided to cancel my account on the Noom portal on March 23rd. I thought everything was taken care of, but I found out an hour later that my credit card had been charged. When I tried to log in to my account, I found out that it was erased and I couldn't access it anymore. When I contacted customer service about this issue, they refused to refund me my money.

I explained to them that today was technically still my 7th day, as it didn't end until 3:00 p.m. later that day, and that I believed I should still be able to get a refund. However, they told me that I needed to cancel my account 24 hours before my free trial ended. This meant that I didn't actually get a full 7 days to see if Noom's plan would work for me. I was very disappointed by this overall, and now I've been charged $130 for something that I can't even access anymore.

To make matters worse, on the first day of my free trial, there wasn't actually any tracking or anything like that. I just had to read a few articles. This made me feel like the free trial wasn't really worth it, and now I'm out of a decent chunk of money. I'm still trying to figure out what to do next, but I'm definitely not happy with my experience with Noom so far!

Noom Noom Review: All Hype and No Substance, Don't Waste Your Time or Money

I gotta be honest, I ain't impressed with Noom. Like, at all. It didn't do nothing for me and it was a straight up waste of my time and money. But lemme get into the nitty gritty of why it sucked so bad.

First off, their ads be deceiving AF. They're always buggin' you to subscribe and if you accidentally click on it, you're screwed. And once you do subscribe, they got you locked in for four months, even if you ain't using it. And if you try to cancel? Forget about it. They only offer refunds if you cancel in the first 14 days, which is some BS. Like, how am I supposed to know if it's working or not in two weeks?

And don't even get me started on their customer service. When I tried to cancel after three weeks, they basically told me too bad so sad and that I was gonna have to pay for the whole four months. And I had a legit reason for delaying - my family had a death and I had other stuff going on. But they didn't give a hoot. They just wanted my money.

Honestly, don't waste your time or money with Noom. It's all hype and no substance.

Noom Mixed Feelings About NOOM: A Review of the Diet and Nutrition App

I gotta say, I'm feeling pretty mixed about this NOOM thing. When I first downloaded it from the APP store, I signed up for the trial. But let me tell you, if you're not careful, they'll charge you $129 as soon as that sucker's over! Now that doesn't sit right with me.

On the flip side, I gotta admit that NOOM is good for folks who don't know a whole lot about nutrition. It seems like it's geared towards people in their twenties or thirties, ya know? It's sorta like a support group for those of us who struggle with food addiction, and they've also got this pretty neat blog that cheers you on through your dietary challenges.

BUT, I do have one heck of a beef with NOOM, lemme tell ya. Their calorie counts are always lower than what the restaurant or manufacturer states. For instance, I ordered this dessert thing at a big chain and the APP told me it was only 300 calories. I thought, "Well hot dog, that's not so bad!" But then I found out it was actually closer to 800 calories! Now here's what I thinks goin' on: NOOM is lyin' to us on purpose. If they say your dessert only has 300 calories, you'll stick around longer and NOOM will make more money off of ya. Isn't that just sneaky as all heck?

All that being said, I did manage to lose a solid 20 pounds thanks to NOOM, so it's not all bad. But let me tell ya, if you don't have the willpower to stay motivated, no APP is gonna do the trick for ya!

Noom Beware of Noom: Heartless Subscription Scheme Targets Vulnerable Customers

Noom be trippin', yo. They don't give a damn 'bout y'all's health, all they wanna do is milk you for that subscription money. My mama, who's 75 and ain't good with dem technology gadgets, got caught in they scheme. She was getting charged $161.10 every 8 months and didn't even know why! That mess was putting her in a real tight spot 'cause she's retired and to say she's livin' off of social security is an understatement. So I called up their customer service telling 'em to refund that last charge and they straight up refused! The supervisor was hella rude and kept spitting out some BS from they little fine print text that says they can do whatever the heck they want with y'all's money. Ain't no remorse for the fact that they be causin' financial struggles for folks like my mama. These fools are heartless and just care 'bout stealin' from y'all till you wise up. Don't trust 'em!

Noom Avoid Noom at all costs - Scam Alert!

So, I heard about Noom (noom.com) and thought what the heck, might as well give it a try. The website said you could cancel any time, so I figured why not?

Well, after a few days of using the service, I knew it just wasn't for me. Too many pages to read every day and a confusing app - it just wasn't my thing. So, I do what anyone would do and cancel my subscription. But, to my surprise, they continue to take money from my credit card for months! It wasn't until several months later that I realize this. Talk about a scam! I lost around six months of money, which is not cool.

So, I speak to their service department and while they are helpful, they are far from apologetic. Buyer beware, folks! If you think it's easy to stop your subscription with these guys, think again. You have to talk to a service desk person to cancel, which is a pain in the butt.

Noom's customer review rating is super low, and I can see why. It's a shame that I didn't listen to the people who wrote those reviews beforehand. It's also a shame that I'm listening to a podcast about online scams right now and feeling like a total sucker.

Anyway, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Noom. There are better weight loss options out there!

Noom Noom Review: Lack of Coaching and Disappointing Customer Service

So, I signed up for Noom a few months back, around November time, and I paid them 129 big ones for a six month stint, until April 28th, 2020. In February, I thought it would be a good idea to ask my coach to end the automatic subscription, just so I could keep an eye on my credit card charges. Honestly, controlling my finances was the only reason behind it - I wasn't trying to split or anything! I was given an alternative of 19 bucks a month if I cancelled the auto-renewal, so I took that offer and signed up for it, with no further automatic payments.

And that was that, really. I never heard from my coach again. Not a peep. Then, come the end of March, I decided to ask for a refund because I hadn't been getting any coaching. What happened next was a bit of a shocker - they kicked me straight out of the program! Can you believe it?! Even though I was still owed a month of coaching. They only refunded me a measly 32 dollars, too.

I mean, are they for real? All in all, I hadn't received any coaching for about three months - half of February, all of March and all of April. I've been getting emails saying that I'm not responding to help tickets, even though I am, and just generally getting an unsatisfactory response. There's been no "sorry" from them, no offer to try a different coach, no recognition that my original coach had ignored me for a month before I said anything about it - nothing. It's just been super disappointing, all round.

Noom Transform Your Lifestyle with Noom: A Game-Changing Program for Lasting Results

Started using noom.com in November 2022 and I gotta say, it's been a game changer for me! The cost isn't too bad considering all the features you get. I get to track my meals, calculate my calories, log my weight, discover new recipes, and even learn about my eating habits! The coolest part? I get to learn how to work towards changing my habits for 8 whole months!

One thing that can be a challenge though, is the cost of the Behavior Coach. It might be a challenge to pay for it every month, but I gotta say, my coach is seriously motivating me! She helps me stay on track with my individual goals, and honestly, it's worth the extra money. I feel better about myself and my choices, and I'm working hard to make healthier decisions.

Since using noom.com, I've lost weight and feel more confident than ever. Other programs made me feel like a failure, but this program is based on scientific research and written by professional psychologists. I never feel guilty for indulging in something not-so-healthy, but instead, I'm reminded that it's okay to be human and make mistakes. That mindset keeps me on track for the long haul.

Overall, I can't recommend noom.com enough! I've already recommended it to my friends and family. It's helped me discover a healthier lifestyle with a positive outlook. The cost might be a bit of a challenge, but it's one that's worth taking to feel fantastic about yourself in the long run.

Noom EasyFast vs. Noom: My Weight Loss Journey to Find the Right Fit

I joined Noom back in April 2020 because I saw the numbers on my scale go higher than they've ever been. I knew that something had to be done about this, and that I needed to start losing some weight. After four months of sticking with Noom, I was able to lose eight pounds, which was a pretty good start. However, I eventually hit a wall and just couldn't seem to lose any more weight.

I tried everything I could think of to push through this plateau, including reducing my calorie intake to just 800 calories a day. While this eventually helped me lose another four pounds, I quickly gained it all back and was stuck at the same weight for weeks. No matter how much I tried, I just couldn't seem to get past this point.

It was at this point that Noom's articles about accepting your body's natural weight began to resonate with me. Despite my efforts to lose more weight, my body seemed to want to stay where it was. I eventually realized that I needed to listen to my body and accept the weight it wanted to be at, even if it wasn't my ideal weight. So I stuck with Noom for another couple of years, trying to find a way to be happy with my weight and feel beautiful once again.

Then, on Easter Sunday in 2022, I decided to try out EasyFast. To my surprise, I was able to lose 30 pounds in just two and a half months! I was ecstatic; finally, I was able to lose weight again and get back to my ideal weight. I restricted my calories, skipped night-time snacking, and fasted until noon. I also worked out regularly, doing everything from walking, gym workouts, Pilates, and weight-lifting. Each morning I worked out for about two hours, which really made a difference.

While I did appreciate Noom's assistance in my weight loss journey, I felt that it wasn't quite the right approach for me. I refused to accept being stuck at a weight that was 30 pounds above my goal, and EasyFast was the program that helped me get there. I felt as if Noom was meant for people who are significantly more overweight than I was, and that it was designed for those who need to lose over 100 pounds or more. But for someone like me, who only had 20 or 30 pounds to lose, it just wasn't quite the right fit.

There's no denying that Noom is a great weight loss program, especially for those who are morbidly obese and need to lose a lot of weight. But I found that it was difficult to use for someone who just needed to lose a little bit of weight in order to get back to their ideal weight. I disagree with Noom's assertion that an overweight BMI is a good weight for us; I believe that we should strive to maintain a healthy, slender physique, regardless of what our current weight may be.

Noom Noom Review: Scammed and Disappointed - Beware of Automatic Renewal

It's the same ol' story as Laurie said before me. I got involved with Noom back in Nov 21 and was all excited about getting my health on track. I was all in and paid up for a year, thinking I was doing the right thing. But after half a year, I wasn't seeing results that I wanted or expected. I was like "what the heck, man? What am I paying for?" So I stopped using the app, hoping for a refund, and went about my life.
Well, the joke was on me because a few days ago I got hit with a PayPal charge for over $150 from Noom, and I was like "what the what?!" So I called up Noom and went full Karen on them. Needless to say, they weren't too keen on giving my money back and pointed out some "fine print" about automatic renewal when I signed up. But I'm telling you right now, I don't remember seeing that and it sounds bogus to me.
Honestly, I feel like I got scammed. And that's not a good feeling. I don't want other people to make the same mistake, so, like Laurie said, do your own research before you get involved with these people. And yeah, the BBB has a whole bunch of complaints against them, so there's that. Don't make the same mistake I did, y'all.

Noom Noom.com Review: Overpriced and Dangerous Virtual Coaching Program

So, my better half shelled out some clams for me to try out noom.com. I was stoked to get on board until I found out it wasn't as "free" as I thought. That's right, folks, it cost us $129 bucks. Ouch!

Basically, noom.com is a food log program with a virtual coach. My customized calorie range was set at 1400 calories, despite me being 190lbs and 5'9". I'm pretty in shape, but on the first day of the program, I straight up passed out during my PT workout. I was holding a 200lb log over my head, so it's no surprise really.

I was nervous and confused, so I reached out to my coach Vanessa. She told me that yes, 1400 calories was where I was supposed to be at. I couldn't believe it. How many other people have been enrolled in this program and put in danger by the coaches' lack of insight?

When I asked for a refund, they hit me with the "you didn't cancel within the specific time period" shenanigans. Overall, not impressed. I wouldn't waste my money on this program or their "coached" food log system.

Noom Noom Review: Great for those with smartphones, but not accessible to everyone

I recently tried out Noom, and as someone who is not super tech savvy, I have to say I was a bit disappointed to learn that their services are only available to those who have a smartphone. Being an old fashioned gal who still uses a trusty flip phone, along with a desktop computer and land line, I unfortunately don't qualify for their program. However, I did sign up for the free trial initially, not realizing this restriction.

Despite my technical limitations, I have to say I was impressed by Noom's customer service. When I reached out to them via email to explain my situation, they were quick to respond and informed me that they would cancel my trial and refund the fee. I appreciated how easy and painless that process was, and honestly can't complain about it in the slightest.

Overall, while I wish that Noom was more accessible to those of us without smartphones, I do think that their program could be really beneficial for people looking to improve their health and fitness. From what I can tell, they provide personalized coaching, meal plans, and exercise guidance that could be especially helpful for those who struggle with accountability or motivation. Plus, their approach seems to be based on building sustainable habits rather than just crash dieting or extreme fitness routines, which I think is a smart and healthy way to approach wellness.

All in all, while I won't be able to personally use Noom's services, I would still recommend checking them out if you're looking for a comprehensive and sustainable approach to weight loss and healthy living. And hey, if you're one of the lucky folks with a smartphone, you might just find that their program is a perfect fit for you!

Noom Unreliable Coaches and Tech Issues: My Disappointing Experience with Noom

There's a lot of hype about Noom and how it's going to change your life for the better. They say they fixed the app, but it's still got a lot of bugs and problems. If you need to contact tech support, good luck trying to figure out how to do it. It's like wandering through a maze trying to find your way to help.

They also promise you one-on-one coaching, but the coaches seem to come and go like the wind. I had one coach who I thought was great, but then they disappeared for weeks. Another coach told me their name was X, but it turned out to be completely different. It's hard to trust someone with your health and wellness when they can't even get their own name right.

The only time they seem to pay attention is when you're trying to cancel. They don't seem to care about helping you achieve your goals, just keeping you as a customer. And if you were given a gift certificate, good luck getting a refund or help. They don't seem to care about their customers and just want to take your money without giving you the support you need.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Noom. There are better apps and programs out there that actually care about their customers and want to see them achieve their goals. Don't fall for the hype and promises, stick with something that actually works.

Noom Beware of Unauthorized Charges: My Experience with Noom

I wanna share my experience with Noom. I’ve been goin' through a lot lately with the loss of a dear family member. So, needless to say, I ain’t really been givin' my diet much attention. I musta forgot that I signed up for Noom. Anyway, recently I saw they took some of my hard-earned cash from my PayPal account without my permission! Crazy right? I ain’t nobody rich enough to be throwin' money 'round like that. I tried to get a refund from them multiple times, but they ain’t been cooperative. I even asked to talk to someone higher up, but they still don’t care what I say.

Don’t get me wrong, Noom was good when I first started, but it didn’t last too long, like most diets. They kept me active 'til the last minute, so I could renew without interruption. You better believe I learned my lesson and canceled my subscription real fast, and I’m tellin' y'all to do the same. You don’t need all the headache and trouble I went through.

Noom Beware of Noom: A Review of the Mind-Changing App That's Just a Scam

I give Noom a try and let me tell ya, it's not worth the buzz. It's just some old school mind-changing stuff in disguise. A lot of their suggestions are pre-written scripts. I thought I'd quit, so I give them a ring and sent an e-mail. They replied, "aww, it's a shame you're leaving us." And that was last year. Now, they just automatically billed me $175! I yelled at them and said that I dropped out a year ago. They said "oopsie, our mistake. But we can't give refunds for automatic renewals. However, we will guarantee that your subscription for next year will be canceled." What sort of tomfoolery is this? How can they "auto-renew" a membership that's closed for a year? Don't let them fool you, this is a SCAM, and they'll keep taking your hard-earned money. Don't even bother with these guys.

Noom Noom App Review: Shady Business Practices and No Refund Eligibility

So, I signed up for this Noom app last year. At first, I was happy to try something new to help me lose weight. But, it didn't really work out for me. I decided to delete the app and move on. Imagine my surprise when I saw a charge of over $150 on my credit card months later! I didn't know it would automatically renew and I was really upset. I canceled my subscription right away and asked for a refund. But, Noom said I wasn't "eligible." That made me angry and I decided to push back. And you know what? I actually got my money back AFTER fighting with them. It was a relief, but the way they handled everything left me with a bad feeling about the company.

It's not just about my experience, either. Noom has had some other shady stuff going on. They settled a class action lawsuit for $62M over similar issues like this. So, it makes me wonder what kind of business practices they have. It's too bad because I had high hopes for the app. But, now I can't recommend it to anyone. If you're thinking about downloading it, be warned. Maybe there are some people it's good for, but I'm not one of them.

Noom Don't Get Trapped: My Unpleasant Experience with Noom Subscription Scam

So, I gotta tell ya guys about my experience with Noom. At first, I wasn't too interested in it, but then I thought, hey why not give it a try. I signed up for a trial and then didn't hear from them again, which was cool with me. But then, six whopping months later, I get an email telling me they charged me $169 for a subscription I never even agreed to. And get this, they were gonna charge me again for another 6 months of something I didn't use or even want.

Now, if you're the type of person who likes paying for stuff that you can easily find in a book or on the internet for free, then go ahead and give Noom your credit card. But if not, I strongly suggest you steer clear of this thing. Don't get caught in the money trap that I did.

Noom My Experience with Noom: A Candid Review of Pros and Cons

Overall, I gotta say, Noom was an interesting experience. Some stuff worked, some didn't, and that's just how it goes, you know?

First things first, one of the best parts of the Noom app, in my opinion, is the way it delivers bite-sized bits of info throughout the day. It's like a little boost of motivation that you can get whenever you need it. And I gotta admit, some of the tips they give you are pretty helpful. Like, I never used to weigh myself every day, but now I do thanks to Noom. And even though it may seem like a small thing, it's actually been super useful in keeping me accountable.

Speaking of accountability, I think that having a "personal coach" who checks in with you is a pretty cool feature. Sure, it might be automated, but at least it feels like someone is paying attention to your progress (or lack thereof). Plus, I think it adds a little extra motivation knowing that someone else is seeing your progress (or lack thereof).

But, and this is a big "but" for me, I didn't love the way the app handled some things. The food logging, for example, was a bit clunky. It just didn't feel as intuitive as other apps I've used in the past, like MyFitnessPal. And while I do appreciate the focus on psychology and behavior change, I didn't feel like there was enough emphasis on nutrition science. Like, it's great to learn about why we make certain choices and how to change them, but at the end of the day, I want to make sure I'm putting good stuff into my body.

All in all, I think Noom is a pretty solid choice for anyone looking to make some changes in their health and wellness. But, as with anything, it's not going to work perfectly for everyone. Just gotta find what works best for you, ya know?

Noom Beware of Noom's Scammy Renewal Policy and Terrible Customer Service

So, I gotta say, Noom sucks big time, and I really mean it. I mean, the program itself was just alright, nothin' to write home about, ya feel me? But let me tell ya, their customer service is a total joke. I was charged over $175 for a renewal when I thought I had cancelled my subscription, and when I reached out for help, they just told me to shove it? Like, seriously? I got in touch with them within seconds of getting that email, but they didn't wanna know. It's been like 6 months since I even used the app, but I still had to redownload it just to message them, and they told me I was out of luck.

They claim that they send out a notification about renewals being due, but I never got that email. What kinda racket is that? I mean, it really feels like a big old scam, if ya know what I mean. These folks are just takin' advantage of people who forget they're signed up and don't use the app anymore, or in my case, can't figure out how to cancel. So they get to sit back and keep rakin' in the money, while bein' total jerks to customers who just want a little bit of help or understanding. It's a real shame, because I thought this program might be good for me, but now I'm just angry and frustrated with the whole thing.
