Purchased a *** drawer in January, it was not as requested. Returned it using their *** label as received in the original box and package. It has been almost 45 days since they received it and they still have not issued a refund.

I brought my friend *** to an appliance retailer. He purchased a new under-counter NewAir beverage fridge model ABR-960. When he unpackaged the fridge and plugged it in, he found that it did not cool. He had a tech come out and the tech verified that it was malfunctioning. *** contacted NewAir about the defective product and was told that the *** was discussed with management and they denied the claim because the retailer was not an "authorized retailer". I have purchased several appliances from this retailer, have exercised manufacturer warranties from Hair and Samsung appliances purchased there. I have emailed NewAir 3 times about this and have not received a response. I called twice and was told both times that the manager would call me back and never did, and finally I had an online "chat" with a manger about the issue. The manager that I chatted with insisted that the retailer was not authorized and said that they were not able to disclose to me the list of authorized retailers because of privacy laws. 1) NewAir's published warranty policy does not list the exclusion of "purchased from an unauthorized retailer" 2) NewAir's supposed list of "authorized retailers" is hidden from the public 3) NewAir's denial of the warranty claim is a direct violation of Federal Warranty Law (Magnusson-Moss Act) because the exclusion is not listed on the warranty and the "list of authorized retailers" is not known to the public. In other words, they could be completely making up the exclusion and the consumer has no way to verify it - exactly what the Magnusson-Moss Act was written to defend. 4) From the Magnusson-Moss Act: "a warrantor must make certain specified information about the coverage of your warranty in a single, clear, and easy-to-read document - specifically to include EXCLUSIONS such as "must be purchased from an authorized dealer." - a warrantor must ensure that warranties are available to customer's prior to purchasing"

On April 15 I purchased a NewAir Portable Air Conditioner and Heater through ***.com. When the product arrived I found it included only an air conditioner and not a heater. I approached *** for a refund because they normally handle refunds through their web site very well. In this purchase *** informed me I had to go directly to NewAir. I contacted NewAir and received return instructions and a shipping label to return the air conditioner. The air conditioner was returned via *** and the tracking number showed it arrived to NewAir on May 10. So far NewAir has not sent my refund. I contacted the company May 20, May 23, June 2, and June 3 and was told they would provide the refund. The last word on June 3 was that they would provide a check to me by June 11. I have received no check. The total refund owed on this is $518.11. The company appears to be withholding the refund for nearly forty days now and it is no longer clear if i will ever received the refund.

I purchased a faulty ice maker from Newair and have had several replacements hat have been faulty. I was promised a refund *** days. I have in writing this. I sent all the information to the on March 23. It is now April 12. They refuse to give me my refund as of now. All they are doing is telling me lie after lie and even in writing.
