Mike Lemon Casting review: Casting agency

I am a SAG/AFTRA union actor. I was searching casting director YouTube videos, in an attempt to educate myself, and better present myself while auditioning using self tapes. I watched a Mike Lemon Casting video by a casting director working for this office. In the video, she talked about things a casting director looks for in an actor's audition. Then she mentioned that Mike Lemon Casting offered an Open Call on their (Mike Lemon Casting), where an actor would be able to send in a reading/audition tape to show our abilities.

She gave the website, mikelemoncasting.com, where an actor could register with them, load their headshots, resume, and demo reels for consideration. She said this was a way that their casting office could find new talent. She also said that Mike Lemon casting offered Open Calls at different times, and that an actor would be able to send in a self tape for consideration. When I went to the site, I loaded my profile, but discovered that in order to get full access, one needed to purchase a premium membership at a cost.

I know, from previous convictions of well-known casting directors, that paying for the possibility of being cast for projects was illegal. This is a scam.
