I would definitely recommend Meowtel for your cat sitting needs. My original sitter fell through and I found Meowtel through a *** search and Im sure glad I did. They have great communication skills, competitive pricing, friendly staff and fantabulous service! *** was amazing and it also helped that *** liked her. She communicated with me every day and sent pictures and videos. She went above and beyond when I asked her to bring in a package that I forgot was being delivered. Thanks so much Meowtel!

Meowtel is amazing! Every cat sitter Ive had from meowtel has been AMAZING! I get really anxious when leaving my cat but these sitters make it a breeze. Meowtel makes reserving, communicating, the payment process and the tipping process super easy, and you can search for sitters super close by end in your area. I will always be using Meowtel when I leave town - I dont trust my baby with just anyone, but the cat sitters I have used are so caring and in love with my sweet girl that I know she is in good hands.

Great organization! Very thorough with extremely timely responses to requests for assistance from their sitters.The Meowtel app is terrificeasy to navigate and filled with relevant information. Every Tuesday, they send to sitters information on a variety of helpful topicsalways thinking of us. When I applied to be a sitter, Meowtel vigorously vetted me and checked all of my references. Very thorough!All in all, a great business which excels in all respects. Thanks to Meowtel, I am having a blast!

I am a sitter and a pet parent. Since finding Meowtel, and knowing the extensive steps it took to become a cat sitter on their platform, I always look for my cat sitters on Meowtel. I feel confident in both the platform and the sitters. As a sitter, I know that Meowtel is there for me and has my back. They keep in touch with blog posts, they keep their app updated and they are fantastic at helping with advice, troubleshooting, and tips that help me become a better sitter. They take a little more in commission, but they offer a better platform.

I discovered Meowtel when my then cat-sitter was unable to provide services. I am SO glad Meowtel exists! I've used them twice and have already lined up my third appointment. My sitter takes excellent care of my cats. She feeds and waters them, cleans their litter boxes, cleans up their vomit (ugh!) and plays (or tries to play) with them. She sends pictures and updates so that I don't worry or wonder how they're doing. She even brings in the mail, opens/ closes the blinds, and turns porch light on and off. I love this service and plan to use them whenever I'm not at home.

I'm so glad to have discovered Meowtel. I went through their extensive vetting process and am a cat sitter with a steadily growing clientele. Everything is clearly spelled out (my rates, their fees, etc). They provide the insurance and collect payment directly from the clients, so when I do the *** I can focus on what's most important, caring for my clients' fur babies. The support team is great and very responsive to offer help, answer questions and make the experience for both clients and sitters easy. I highly recommend Meowtel for all your cat sitting needs.

I am a sitter for Meowtel and I love the convenience of being able to schedule and communicate with clients via the app. It's wonderful for the clients also, as they know sitters have been vetted, are insured, and it's a legitimate service.I love being able to provide quality care for cats in their own homes while their people are away - it helps the cats feel so much less stress than going to a boarding facility.My clients love knowing that should there ever be an issue, there is a resource for them. Customer service is quick with responses and dedicated to a positive experience.

I recently hired Ren, a cat pet-sitter through meowtel and was very pleased with her service. She was very professional, experienced & caring. She arrived early for our initial meeting, was very detailed in her questions and answers. She has cats of her own which is a big plus. She gave my one cat who is a little older his asthma metered inhaler & urinary pill medication twice a day in his food. She followed up to make sure he actually talk it. She informed me of their moods and actions and sent us pic every day. I would use meowtell again and definitely recommend Ren. *** Psrry

We had an excellent experience with the person we hired through Meowtel to watch our cats while we traveled recently. It is super easy to communicate through Meowtel, and the person we hired through it was awesome; she sent us daily updates and photos of our pets, reassuring us that all was well. This is a great service. It was easy to find a sitter close to our home, and to use the app for communication and payment. We had looked at several cat sitter's websites and had become discouraged and frustrated prior to finding this site. Thank you so much - keep up the good work and keep your customers purring.

I am SO happy I found Meowtel! It's been a game changer. I had plenty of family and friends to help me back home. I am new to *** and was nervous to have a stranger in my house taking care of my cats. I was immediately put at ease by Meowtel's sitters. Both sitters I have had were great. I like how it's cat only -- not everyone likes cats and their particular personalities- so having people that love kitties as much as I do is reassuring. *** is fast and friendly and one of my sitters said the company is wonderful to work for. I am considering becoming a sitter myself! I would highly recommend Meowtel.

My friend so either add on *** and she forwarded me the information. I instantly signed up because of my love of cats and wanted to make some money while doing something different. I was also attempting to start my own business. I love how easy it is to use the app and I have been booking jobs on a consistent basis. Everything is on the up and up and they really care about your safety, especially since youre going into peoples homes. Their customer service line is efficient and they get back to you right away. I can see that theyre trying to make adjustments to the app to make it more efficient and better for everyone to use. This is such a dog world that is such a refreshing time to see that this app exists for cat lovers everywhere.

We've used Meowtel about half a dozen times so far (same sitter) and been extremely pleased with both the sitter and the Meowtel service overall - would recommend to anyone looking for a cat sitter. I especially like that it's just cats, as when pet-sitting services have both dog and cat sitting, the cat sitting becomes something of an afterthought, and we want a pet sitter who is experienced and focused on cat sitting specifically.Ironically, the few negative reviews on here are from angry sitters, not clients, and based on what I'm reading I don't want them around my cats and am glad they got weeded out. I'm glad Meowtel sets a high bar for who is allowed to start and continue pet sitting, as we clients place a great deal of trust in the service to vet their sitters. Keep up the good work!

Application process is bogus. I have 10 years of prior experience AND vet classes. My references checked out and my profile was completed. I did EVERYTHING they wanted and I avidly stayed in communication with them the whole time. Then out of no where, I got declined! And the list of reasons were obviously blanket reasons since every single one of them did NOT pertain to me. For example, they deny based on lack of experience or lack of references or lack of profile. None of those match me! Bogus. AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, the bottom of the email demands me to not reach out about any more details on WHY my application was denied. It literally said if you reach out for further detail you wont get a response. Its terrible, because if I did something wrong I would like to know what it is. But for them, they deny and move on, since I am probably just a number to them. As a cat owner myself and regular volunteer at MULTIPLE shelters, they have lost my business as a client or employee, and I will let everyone know.

I am an avid catsitter and I have personally really loved using Meowtel. The platform is super easy-to-use, convenient, and well-designed. The customer service is excellent. I have emailed a few times with questions or to adjust reservations for my clients, and the customer service representatives have always emailed very promptly to help out. With the background checks and vetting that Meowtel does for sitters, the clients who reach out to me already feel comfortable and ready to book. I also love that I don't have to search for clients. Instead, clients reach out to me with questions or eager to book, after already seeing my profile, rates, availability, etc. Also, I love that this is a cat-specific petsitting site! Meowtel does take a percentage of the booking earnings, but this percentage goes down if you have repeat visits with regular clients. I think this is still worth using the site though, as they do all the work for finding clients and insuring both parties (sitters and clients). I have LOVED using Meowtel and it has definitely increased my cat-sitting tendencies and allowed me to meet soooo many adorable kitties and meet like-minded cat parents :).

Meowtel is successfully addressing a niche part of the pet sitting business by locating and vetting sitters who have a particular passion for/expertise in cats. Cats can be trickier than dogs: your average dog is going to love whomever takes it for a walk! Cats are more discerning and cant be won over as easily. Meowtel allowed me to cut out all the sitters whose primary interest is dogs, and focus my attention on sitters who are likely to be as obsessed with cats as I am. ? I have never (and I mean never) had better, more devoted, loving, patient care for my cats than I did with my Meowtel sitter. She actually played with my cats. A lot. And enjoyed the challenge of winning them over. I have a really hard time fully enjoying my vacations because I can feel so guilty and miserable knowing my kitties are sitting at home alone for days (at times, a week or more), with only someone to come in, put down food, and walk out again. Having my Meowtel sitter stay overnight, knowing she was vetted and insured, and interested in ALL cats, made all the difference to me the last time I went away for a few nights. Communication from my sitter was EXCELLENT. I was 99% sure just from what she wrote in her bio that she was the right sitter for me, and I turned out to be 100% correct. The app itself is fun and easy to use. Great service, Meowtel, thank you!

Meowtel is RACIST I was a cat sitter Meowtel for long enough to make them several thousand dollars. During a meeting with *** and Axel I mentioned a racist client who threatened to contact the police. This threat was sent to me on the Meowtel app for them to see as well. Instead of doing damage control with me they proceeded to tell me I should have been nicer to the client! The racist client! Whom I felt uncomfortable and threatened by! If you are unaware the police kill black people for no reason everyday. The next day *** proceeded to send me an email saying considering the client complaints I have been terminated. The complaints she is speaking of is most definitely from the same racist client. Every other client Ive worked with has loved me or atleast appreciated my work and many have left 5 star reviews. Keep in mind the racist client cancelled his reservation and never truly experienced my quality of work. In the email *** also stated We really appreciate your services provided and the time invested during on-boarding but at this time we don't feel we are the right fit for the type of cat sitting you are looking to do.As if a person like me(a black person) does a different type of cat sitting than anyone else. Yeah right. If youre a person of color or care about people of color I would think twice before trying your luck with this company.
