Hello Lauren x7009

Thank you for your awful service...
your so called "customer care" title should be removed immediately...AND as far as you being the only person to escalate my issue to in all of Living Social? Hmmm, Ive already written to the CEO of company.

After reading the reviews from other customers posted all over so many sites from all around the world about LS services it is more than crystal clear that I am one of thousands that has a complaint about your
lack of customer care and the LS site in general. The reviews speak for themselves - they are all Negative!

You were absolutely no help, did not resolve the issue and provided NO customer care - the advertisment for ISO Beauty Hair Dryers was 100% misleading.
The Deal Ad showed the ISO Beauty site where there were several dryers to choose from - after finding one, I purchased the voucher - nowhere on the deal ad did it mention there were limitations?
Upon receiving the voucher - the site to choose the product from changed! the hair dryer I originally bought the voucher for was not included! Whoever wrote this ad for you, should be investigated! It doesnt make any sense. There were no limitations to the hair dryer products on the Deal Ad ! And why would you post the ISO main site where there is a broader selection of dryers?

This is totally misleading! AND BAD Business!

I will post this message all over the place on the net and report you to the better business bureau - all your other Living Social EX customers are already there; ISO Beauty Co. is hearing about
about this case too
The fact that you could not even offer up one solution to keep me as a customer is disgusting and you called youself the manager with no other persons to speak with.
Nevermind the Deal ad anymore - Im stuck with it - but more importantly, you have absolutely no experience in customer care or how to keep customers returning!
Apparently you missed training day on "How NOT to loose the Customer"
Too bad for Living Social ! No wonder all the complaints

I've had a similar issue, I bought cupcakes from Rose Marie Creations and called the next day for an order to be delivered on my husband's birthday. The lady left me a message at 7 am the day of the delivery and said her ovens don't work. After calling her no less than 10 times that day and 4 other days she still has yet to return my phone call. I contacted Living Social 10 days after the original purchase and they told me too bad so sad then had the balls to send me a 2 question survey on their "customer service". I let them have it!

The good thing is Groupon is completely opposite. I had a bike delivered to my porch and it was either lost in delivery or someone stole it off my doorstep (which has never happened). Groupon gave me $5 for dealing w/ it and then refunded my full purchase price! They know customer service.

Everyone on this website needs to come together for a class action lawsuit to get Living Social shut down or straighten up.

COMPLETELY MISLEADING DEAL! I bought a voucher for a restaurant in Hoboken (Havana) and the terms were--pay $12 for one brunch and receive one meal and one mimosa, bellini or bloody mary. We told the waiter we had a voucher and he said you can order everything on the brunch menu except for the steak and eggs. When we got the bill it was outrageous and we ended up having to talk to the manager who told us $12 is the promotional value and that we needed to double it to $24 bc it's half off. But how was I supposed to know it was meant to be half-off? All of the meals were difference prices! The voucher said pay $12 for a meal and one drink, not pay $12 for one half-priced meal and one drink!

Same response here, but unfortunately, it's been too long to dispute the charge with my CC company.

I agree that Living Social has issues with fair practices. I bought a product from their store which was lower than the list price. I found out within a few moments of placing the order that the product was not worth the $149.00 "discounted" price let alone $50. I got an email stating that the order was pending and not actually completed so I called immediately to cancel the order. I was told there was no way to do that. I asked about returning the item and was told I would have to pay return shipping plus an $8 restocking fee. So now here I am out almost $25 to start and I have to wait about two weeks(super slow shipping on top of everything else) to get the piece of garbage. I should have orderd from Amazon in the first place. Lesson learned.

I also purchased a voucher from ISO Beauty for a Proliss Hair Dryer and still have not received it. When I spoke with someone from ISO beauty weeks ago, i was told there were problems shipping the product to the Canada. I still have NOT received the product. Have you received your hair dryer yet?

LivingSocial places customer service at the very heart of our business and we strive to ensure members and partners alike benefit from a great experience with us.
We are, of course, extremely disappointed to hear of instances where LivingSocial hasen't lived up to the high service standards we set for ourselves. In the specific cases of Elizabeth Ludlow and Reece George, both parties have received a full refund, and a personal apology from Peter Briffett, Managing Director of LivingSocial UK and Ireland.

YA MY ###!

I have informed you about the faulty goods I have received within 6 hours of receiving them.

Hi, I purchased a fm transmitter and Just received it.
The purchase is an expert fm transmitter. order number 371994.
The product is meant to fit into an Iphone, however it lacks the clips on either side of the fitting which holds it in place. Therefore it will not stay in the phone.
Every device made to fit the iphone has these clips.
Please acknowledge this email and advise on return policy and refunds available including postage.
it defeats the purpose of purchasing discounted products if they dont work and you have to spend time and money complaining
and returning the items.

regards,

I know how to get the money back. The best way is to file a Small Claims action. Any other lawsuit is easy for them to brush off, but with a small claims suit, they CANNOT use a lawyer! Therefore, someone from Living Social will have to show up and defend. They won't and you will win by default EVERYTHING you ask for.
However, there are other ways before going to that extreme. Like, calling the customer service line. it's [protected]. Other numbers are [protected] and [protected]. They will put you through to customer service. Choose option 1 and wait for it to finish. it will tell you to hold if you did not get your answer. Then, you'll be on hold for about 5 to 15 minutes, but someone WILL come on. Explain your situation. THEN, explain what it is you think you have to do to get your money back. If they do not take care of it, small claims is the answer.
Contact me at filmdad3@gmail.com and we can create some answers for those lost in the shuffle and I can help.

Don't bother with the BBB. They only go against a company that does not pay it's dues. Otherwise they'll back the company up.

I've had the same problem with diamond forever, but I've not even had a reply to my many emails. Living social keep fobbing me off, saying they are trying to get in touch with the merchant! I ordered on the 12th march, and have received nothing. Apparently they've has a lot of complaints about this company.

Completely agree with the negative comments about this company - completely wiped their hands of a deal offered by an associate partner in Ireland. Very rude when contacted for assistance. If in Ireland, DO NOT USE LIVING SOCIAL - use Group on or Pigsback, who are much more reputable.
