for their lack of quality products. I ordered a personalized tote bag for my daughter's birthday and it arrived with the wrong name on it. When I contacted customer service, they were rude and unhelpful. They refused to refund or replace the item, claiming that it was my mistake. I know for a fact that I entered the correct name when placing the order. It's clear that they don't take responsibility for their mistakes. I will never shop at Lillian Vernon again and I advise others to steer clear as well.

Wish I had seen these reviews before ordering. Ordered two baby's first Christmas *** bears for my baby and my niece in early November. In mid-December, I was told the item was out of stock and being ordered - too late to order an alternative from any other company. Just awful. They also DO NOT post reviews of their items to the website, they say they are in review.

This company is terrible! I just wrote a complaint to the ***. I can't get this company to remove my name from their catalog list and the ones they're connected to. I take the catalogs from the mailbox and throw them in the trash, what a waste of money for this company to make catalogs that no one here looks at. Hopefully, I'll see some results soon.

The wreath I bought was so tacky and flimsy, it started losing pieces as soon as I pulled it out of the box. It took me four emails to get the info I needed to send it back. They don't pay for return postage or include labels, and you have to wait for a code to send anything back. They make it as difficult as possible to return stuff. The cheapest return postage cost half of what I paid for the wreath! I ain't never buying anything from this company again.

Check out the review from November 18. We had the same problem. We called customer service three times in less than an hour and got three different answers, none of which were good enough. The main thing is this company took our money for Christmas stockings but didn't send the order even after 6 weeks. They have no clue what's happening and are basically useless. Interestingly, while talking to the third customer service rep to get our money back (which they had for 6 weeks), I got a voicemail from the second rep who I got disconnected from earlier, saying our order was shipped (which I doubt). The only way to deal with a company like this is to never buy anything from them.

Horrible company! Don't order from Lillian Vernon! They got the worst customer service ever! I wouldn't even give them 1 star, but had to pick something. I ordered at the end of March, item in stock and ready to ship in 12-14 days. I waited for weeks and nothing. No email, no notification of any issues. After being on hold with the so-called customer service department for literally hours on 2 different days, someone finally answered on the third day, told me my order was ready and would ship out the next day. That was on 4/27. Nothing received and still no notifications of any issues by 5/25. Called CS again and they said my order was on its way...after a month, really? They couldn't give me a tracking number or any other info. Finally called back 6/1 and now my product was discontinued...unbelievable! So what was already shipped back in April was now discontinued. Every question I asked, the guy's answer was "it's been discontinued" so absolutely NO help at all. Obviously never ordering from them again, this company is a joke! How they have an "A" rating is beyond belief. I will also spread this info to many others.

I ordered something in December and they said they'd email me when it's ready to ship. I never got an email. I called to check and they said it's on back order. They moved it to the end of December. Same thing happened again. I called again and they moved it to January 21. Same thing happened again. I called again and they moved it to February 21. I never got any info. So I called again and they said it's canceled, out of stock! Nobody told me and I wasted all those months for nothing. What a waste of time! This company charges for shipping, handling, and taxes. Such a rip off! Don't even bother! I won't order from them again. Terrible customer service, terrible business. They don't treat customers right. Their stuff isn't even good quality and it's overpriced. Bye bye Lillian Vernon. There are other companies with better products and customer service. I don't know how they're still in business.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! What a joke! This Company does not deserve one star. It deserves zero stars! I ordered a kid's rolling suitcase on November 29. At the time, information indicated it would take 2-3 business days to ship and I would receive an email with tracking information. When I didn't hear anything by December 6 (and giving them the benefit of doubt due to the holiday rush), I decided to call and check on my order. The *** Service agent advised that my order was in process and my credit card would not be charged until the order was shipped. (This was proved to be incorrect as my credit card was charged immediately on Nov 30). I tried tracking my order online again on Dec 8. When I noticed the product said "Out of Stock" and it was no longer on the website, I again called customer service. The agent assured me that the product was in stock when I ordered it and my order was completed and simply waiting on the carrier to pick it up. I received an email on Dec 10 indicating that the Company was sending a credit to my credit card. The email did not explain why the credit was being issued, but I was sure I knew. Another call to *** Service confirmed that the product was indeed out of stock and that information I had received in previous calls was incorrect. I will never order from this Company again and will advise others not to order as well. The ComplaintsBoard.com needs to review the A+ rating they have given this Company!

A few weeks later I got an email that one of the stockings is being shipped, two are on backorder and will be shipped the beginning of December. A week after that I got an email saying that a refund was put on my credit card. When I called customer service they said one of the stockings is out of stock so they refunded me the money. I couldn't understand this since it was almost one month after I ordered the stockings and there was an update the week before about my order. The person I was talking to said that their system does this where it could be in stock one day, people over-order and then when the product runs out they refund the money to whoever's order didn't get filled. HOW HORRIBLE! So I asked if I could be put on a list so that when the stocking gets in stock I'll be first in line to get it shipped to me. He said they don't do that but I could try calling in January to see if it's back in stock. ITS A CHRISTMAS STOCKING! I then told him that I want to cancel my whole order since one of my kids won't match the rest of his family for Christmas this year and the person at first said they'll only cancel the backordered stocking but the one that was shipped can't be refunded. I said that I don't want one random stocking and to cancel so he checked with his manager and said that if I return it to them they'll refund me the money. I said that I want them to make sure the return fee was covered because this was their mistake and not mine to which he (and after checking with his manager) said they wouldn't and that I was responsible for the return payment. NOT ONLY is their product expensive, their system is terrible but now this small thing as a return fee for their mistake! I told them I'll never be ordering from them again and will tell anyone considering ordering from them "DO NOT". They don't care about you as a customer AT ALL.

I asked about my order on Wed 12/18 and got an email response on 12/20 saying that they created a ticket to fix the issue. They didn't mention when the items would be shipped or offer a refund. On Tue 12/24, I asked for more information and requested a full refund. Finally, on Fri 12/27, I got a generic email apologizing and suggesting that I call their Customer Service Team. I shouldn't have to go through all this trouble for a problem with my order. They should either give me my money back or let me know when I can expect the product. So, I thought I'd be smart and ordered the rest on August 25, thinkin' I'd have 'em in time for Christmas this year. But nope, my partial order didn't ship out 'til December 14th after a bunch of delays and after I had to bug the company multiple times. The week before Christmas, a rep promised me I'd have all my stuff by Christmas. But guess what? I called today (12/21) to check on the last two items and I got disconnected three freakin' times! Ugh. This company used to be good back in the day, but not anymore. If I could, I'd give 'em a big fat zero rating.

However, the LV employee couldn't find the original order and got annoyed when I tried to explain the problem again. I don't know what to do now because no one from LV has returned my requests for a call back.

I ordered sleeping bags because we were moving our family of 5 across the country and needed them for hotel stays during covid. I had to cancel because they would arrive after we moved.
