I called Lenovo support to say my battery was having problems. I am covered under the extra warranty I purchased. The support agent said he needed to remotely check my battery and accessed my laptop it wouldn’t take long.! After 1.5hours he said that he couldn’t get my laptop back on for me. I was left with a disabled laptop and they weren’t bothered. I called helpline on 13.9.23. I called again on 14/9/23 and the agent admitted that the agent from the previous should have, but had not, took screenshot of my Bit locker key which he needed to leave my laptop working as it was before he went into it remotely. I was told that the escalation team would contact me within 3 working days with a resolution to this matter. I am now 6days on and I have not been contacted and totally ignored. I am now left with a laptop that cost £1000.00 last year totally disabled and unusable. I only called them about my battery and my laptop was working perfectly until the agent said he had to check remotely before sending new one out. I would have never let him do it if I had been told beforehand that (your laptop is working now Mrs Bell but I will disable it and you will not have a working laptop after 1.5 hours of mucking about with it.) I have called every day since but promised escalation team would respond and didn’t. I am upset and frustrated as everything I had on my computer is now inaccessible. This is is disgusting after it was all caused by Lenovo incompetent agent that they employ.

Desired outcome: New laptop. apology for their huge mistake and total disregard for me. Contact me as promised. Immediately.
