I signed a contract on 4/28 with King Construction USA to replace my roof. The permit was given by Seminole County on 5/28. On 6/2, they started working on my roof and didn't pass the first inspection. On 6/3, they failed the second inspection. On 6/5, they finished my roof without passing any previous inspections. They failed two more inspections in August, making a total of 4 failed inspections, and now they won't answer or changed their office phone number. The (supposed owner) won't reply to my text messages.

My complaint is that King Construction said they'd finish my roof in 2 days, but it's been 3 months and I'm still having issues. Now, in the 4th month, I found 2 big leaks. I called 2 different people at King Construction last weekend for an emergency fix. They said they'd come on Monday, the 27th (September), but they never showed up, just like before. So, I had to call them again today, a week later, to fix the leaks they left due to their negligence. Why can't they do the job as promised and finish on time? Unprofessional and terrible customer service! I've had so many problems with them on this job, and it's been hard to get them to show up. They never communicated with me, I always had to call them to finish the job they promised. When will they finally do the job right and finish it properly?

On August 31, the roof didn't pass inspection 'cause the company didn't send pics of the roof. 'Til today, September 15, the Inspection ain't got the pics via email from Joe M @***. He ain't returning my calls or texts. I called the owner Bryann T [protected]@*** on Monday, September 12, but she didn't call me back. The property's at ***. Mr. is 80 years old and he don't need the stress. His daughter asked me to help 'em. Joe knows Mr. can't get homeowner insurance without the paperwork sayin' the roof's been replaced. This has been goin' on since the permit was issued on July 15. Also, King Construction contacted the insurance sayin' they had to replace some plywood on the roof. When I saw the new roof, I noticed a new piece of plywood leanin' against the dumpster and 2 bundles of new shingles in the dumpster. Please HELP.

On 02/11, I signed a contract with King Co. to re-roof my house. On 03/02, Security First claim checks were given to them for a total of $26,358.96 (Owner Established value recorded per O.C. Roof Permit). They were supposed to schedule the work within 30 to 60 days from 02/11 and complete it in 2 to 3 days. However, the re-roof project didn't start until 05/03, and they didn't have the materials. They left the roof without shingles OPEN and without a tarp for 9 days, even though it rained heavily, causing new leaks in my house. They didn't order the materials when they received payment. Brayann T asked for extra money that we didn't agree on, and the deductible, even though the work wasn't finished. The O.C. Roof inspection FAILED on 05/12. The roof was full of debris (nails, stains, loose gutter attachments, etc.). They did a very poor quality job that doesn't meet industry standards. They also left all the gutters around the house detached from the roof, which is a safety hazard.

Volusia County Permit *** not closed and no inspections were done. I bought this house and king roofing, who has the permit, said they'd close it before I bought the house. I've had it for a month and still no news on when they'll handle it. Bryan and Karissa keep ignoring me when I call, but they answer when I use a different number. I'm a contractor and I always update my customers and get inspections before starting any job, that's being responsible. I shouldn't have to keep calling to ask what's happening. This permit was opened in 2017 and will expire in June 2022. They need an engineer to confirm everything's good with the Volusia county inspector. They've been paid by the previous owner/insurance company. If this isn't resolved soon, my home insurance won't cover the house. I need answers ASAP!

Company dont want to provide a contract release form. I signed an assignment of benefits to them but the insurance claim was not approved. One of the paperwork I signed was an assignment of benefits, which means any and all money from the insurance claim would go to them. My claim was not approved by my insurance company, now this company is refusing in giving me a release form for the contract, this means I can not place any claim to the insurance on my own and I can not even sell my house because they are so unprofessional that dont even have the courtesy of responding my multiple emails. I have copies of the multiple emails sent to the company and text messages with the salesperson that came to my house how the roof. I have asked multiple times for a formal letter from the company (with letter head and signature) and they have completely ignore my multiple requests and months have passed. Please help on this matter, I feel that they have taken advantage of me and my rights as home owner. King Construction USA provided and email stating that was released, after providing this to another company to proceed with my insurance claim the public adjustor and their legal advisor determined that the email was not sufficient and that a signed letter was required, I Informed this multiple times to kings Construction USA and they have completely ignored all of the correspondence from me.
