Jack Furrier's Western Tire & Auto Care I took my minivan to Jack Furrier's Western Tire & Auto Care to get 4 new tires and a complete oil change

I took my minivan to Jack Furrier's Western Tire & Auto Care to get 4 new tires and a complete oil change. They were nice and finished faster than I expected. When I got home, my husband noticed that the same old dirty oil filter was still on the van. They charged me $29.99 plus tax for a service they didn't actually do. When we asked them about it, nobody said sorry or tried to fix it. We got our money back and left. I don't know if this happens often, but if my husband hadn't checked, I would have assumed they were honest and did their job properly. I would have been driving my kids around in a car that wasn't well-maintained.

Jack Furrier's Western Tire & Auto Care I rely a lot on customer reviews and I gotta say, not all of 'em have been too good

I rely a lot on customer reviews and I gotta say, not all of 'em have been too good. I've been taken advantage of a few times. It's pretty hard to find an honest garage that I can rely on for good work and honesty. But I gotta give a shoutout to Jack Furrier Tire & Auto on N. Oracle Rd. in Oro Valley. I've used 'em a few times before, so when my pickup died on me, I thought my alternator was shot 'cause my battery was only a month old. I charged it up all the way, so I knew it wasn't the battery. I got a quote for an alternator and was expectin' to pay 'round $340.00 for the replacement. But then I got a call sayin' my vehicle was ready, and to my surprise, they only had to replace a battery cable connector for a total of $25.00! Way less than I expected. I'm super grateful that they were honest and fair with me. I'll definitely keep goin' to 'em when I need to. Thanks again, Jack Furrier's! Ray Jones

Jack Furrier's Western Tire & Auto Care On 05/18, I took my 2009 Nissan Versa to Jack Furriers on Sunrise Drive

On 05/18, I took my 2009 Nissan Versa to Jack Furriers on Sunrise Drive. I wanted them to fix my AC unit by installing a blower motor and resistor. To do this, I had to remove the glove box because the blower motor is located there. I provided both the NEW blower motor and the NEW resistor. However, they only installed the blower motor and didn't put the glove box back. Now, I have a big hole in my dashboard and a glove box in my back seat. Even worse, after both installations, my AC unit still doesn't work. I paid $225.00 for these repairs, and I'm really disappointed. I want a refund because the repairs were done poorly.

Jack Furrier's Western Tire & Auto Care I went to Jack Furrier Western Tire on Speedway Blvd in Tucson, Arizona

I went to Jack Furrier Western Tire on Speedway Blvd in Tucson, Arizona. I wanted them to change my tire sensors from my factory wheels to some alloy wheels that I bought on October 16th. They put one of my alloy wheels on very loosely, and it almost fell off while I was driving to my grandmother's funeral in Los Angeles, California. I contacted a guy named Chris, who connected me with a guy named Sean. Both of them tried to tell me that the lug nuts were wrong for my vehicle. I tried to get them to fix my wheel and the other issues with my car, but they refused. They said they sold those lug nuts and knew they were wrong for my vehicle. They also said they didn't feel safe putting my wheel back on, but they still returned my car to me with the wheel on unsafely. This left me stranded.

Jack Furrier's Western Tire & Auto Care On August 2, I bought 4 new tires for my 2012 Dodge Challenger from Jack Furrier's Western Tire & Auto Care

On August 2, I bought 4 new tires for my 2012 Dodge Challenger from Jack Furrier's Western Tire & Auto Care. When I left the store, I noticed that the tire light was flashing. Two days later, the light was still on, so I went back to the Palo Verde location on a Saturday morning. *** and *** told me that a sensor was broken, but they couldn't fix it. I immediately called the manager, ***, who was nice and assured me that they would take care of the problem.

Since then, I have returned to the store 5 times. My car was "worked on" each time, but the issue was never resolved. The time frames varied from 1 hour to 3 and a half hours. On the last visit, which was on September 12, *** used a racial slur when he told the crew members to give me back my car. The manager, ***, said, "let the monkey rip. If she wants to get it fixed somewhere else, fine, I don't have time for this!" As *** went back into the building, he continued to talk to me and said, "this is a multi-million dollar company. We make money. We don't need your [censored]. You've got too many restrictions on your schedule." On this particular visit, I was told it would take two hours. I left for an hour and came back, but it took over 3 hours. *** then apologized for the delay and said he wasn't sure how much longer it would take.

After all the trouble, *** agreed to pay for the repair that Jack Furrier's caused when they broke all four sensors during the installation of the new tires. Initially, I thought the manager was polite, but he became very angry with me after the 4th attempt to fix my car failed. That's when he used the racial slur, "let the monkey rip."

Jack Furrier's Western Tire & Auto Care On April 14th, I left my car at your Ina Road place to get the oil changed like I've done a bunch of times before

On April 14th, I left my car at your Ina Road place to get the oil changed like I've done a bunch of times before. I picked up the car later that day and paid for the service and went home. After about 3 miles, the car started making a really loud noise in the engine area. As soon as I got home, I opened the hood and the noise was definitely coming from the engine. One of my massage clients, Mr. ***, showed up around that time and we checked the oil level. Turns out, the engine had no oil, or at least not enough oil to show on the dipstick. So we called your place and they sent a tow truck to pick up the car and bring it back to your place the next morning. Later that day, Mr. picked me up and we went to talk to the local manager about the problem. He told us the car was good to go. But we reminded him that the car had no oil and then he started verbally attacking us, saying the car had plenty of oil and that they even replaced the oil filter a second time. He also said the engine bearings were shot and I needed a new engine. With all due respect, we checked the oil level twice the night before and there was no sign of oil, like I said earlier, and we even took a picture of the dry dipstick. It was also funny that he called and said the car was ready with oil but it was still making awful noises. That was a weak attempt to cover up the truth, to say the least. Considering the engine failed right after the oil change at your place, the proof of no oil in the engine after the failure, as shown by the pictures and videos of the dipstick at my house, and the fact that there was no oil leakage on my driveway or under the car, it's pretty clear that the oil was drained and not replaced during the oil change. I've been a loyal customer of your company for a long time, using your Ina place for the past 8 years for all my oil changes, tires, brakes, and other small services. Up until now, I've always recommended your company to my clients and others, and some of them have even become regular customers because of it. I'm looking forward to your response and a quick solution to this problem. Sincerely

Jack Furrier's Western Tire & Auto Care I went to Jack Furrier's Western Tire & Auto Care on September 15 or 16

I went to Jack Furrier's Western Tire & Auto Care on September 15 or 16. I asked the man at the counter, who seemed to be around 50 years old, for a synthetic oil change for my Rav4. He told me that it was too expensive and that I didn't need it. I insisted that I wanted the synthetic oil change. I also asked if they could rotate my tires, to which he simply replied, "No." He wasn't friendly at all. The service was completed so quickly that I don't think I could have even filled up my car with gas in that time. I mentioned this, but he didn't respond. I was the only customer there the whole time. He charged me around $80, so I asked if there was a coupon available. I had asked this before, but he didn't reply. Angrily, he adjusted the price to $67.46. I was about to leave when he dryly said, "You have packrats. They are eating your wires. You should do something about them." I was shocked and asked about them. I didn't know anything about packrats. Did they check under the hood? Why didn't they inform me or take any action? He rudely replied that he didn't know. He didn't know what I should do or who I should call. He just stared ahead or at the computer. It was as if he was dead. Another man came out, sat down, and nervously tried to tell me about a product that AutoZone supposedly had (I later checked, and AutoZone had never heard of it). They both ignored me and treated me poorly. I thought, what kind of garage is this? I left, and within a few minutes, my tire light came back on. Last week, I had to get a new battery from Walmart, and the mechanic there told me that all of my fluids were bone dry and my air filter was really dirty. He also mentioned that my tires needed air. I told him that I had just gotten an expensive oil change from Jack Furrier on Grant, and he couldn't believe it. Then I started to wonder if I even got an oil change or if Jack Furrier lied about it. There was no way to tell, but I checked Jack Furrier's website to see what should have been done during the oil change. Sure enough, all the fluids, including the coolant, should have been filled. I also checked with Toyota, and my air filter is not the inaccessible kind, which means it should have been replaced. To make matters worse, the oil they put on the sticker in my car is not the synthetic oil I asked for, but the High Performance synthetic blend. And that oil change was only $29.95! In fact, the most expensive oil change, the synthetic one, is only $69.99! The only one more expensive is $89.99 for diesel! So, I was ripped off in every way possible. Nothing was done, and I was charged for the most expensive diesel oil even though my car is not a diesel. They even put in the cheapest oil instead of the full synthetic oil that I specifically asked for. They let me drive away with all my fluids either dry or low, without coolant, and they reset my tire without adding air. Everything was a trick to deceive me. What did I ever do to them? I was nice and trusting the whole time. Now I don't have the oil I wanted and took great care to have in my car. I have no idea what is actually in it. I also had to leave with great fear of not knowing what to do about the rats in my engine. If it hadn't been for the other mechanic telling me about the condition of my engine, I wonder how long it would have taken for real damage to occur due to the lack of fluids and a dirty air filter. It really hurt me. Is it because of my age (60s)? Why would they treat a new customer this way? I felt like they slapped me.

Jack Furrier's Western Tire & Auto Care On 4/13 my car broke down, so I had it towed to Jack Furrier (Ina location), the mechanic shop I've been going to for the past 2 years

On 4/13 my car broke down, so I had it towed to Jack Furrier (Ina location), the mechanic shop I've been going to for the past 2 years. They had my car from Monday until Thursday 4/16, and I paid $865.00 for the work they did (throttle body replacement/oil change). After picking up the car, I drove it about 15 miles and it ran great! However, on 4/17 around 3:30pm, the car broke down again, experiencing the same issue it was initially taken to the shop for. Additionally, it now had a new knocking problem and was driving rough.

I called *** to inform him about the issue and that I would be bringing the car back to the shop. He said he couldn't do anything on Saturday 4/18 and they were closed on Sunday. His tone seemed annoyed, as if I inconvenienced him. He did mention that if my car was there on Monday morning, they would look at it first thing. So, I left my car in the parking lot on Sunday evening, hoping they would address the problem promptly.

However, Monday came and went without any word from them. Frustrated, I went to the shop on Tuesday 4/21 and asked about the issue. *** rudely told me that he had just spoken to my dad and was confused as to why I was there. I explained that I hadn't heard from anyone, and my dad hadn't been contacted either. He proceeded to recount the conversation he had with my dad. I apologized for not knowing about their conversation since my dad hadn't called me yet. *** then claimed that my car was perfectly fine and made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. He said they had it in the shop, revved it, and even took it on a 65-mile test run (which seemed excessive for a test run if the car was fine). My dad suggested they keep it overnight and run it in the morning to see if anything changed. However, *** told me it was my car and I didn't have to listen to my dad; I was free to take it if I wanted to. I insisted that we follow my dad's advice and keep the car there.

The next day, the car exhibited the exact same issues I had described, and they ordered parts and "fixed" it for the second time. On 4/23, my parents picked up the car and drove it home. Everything seemed great, and the car was running perfectly again. However, that night, my mom was driving my car to pick me up from work, and it died out AGAIN, with the same issues and lights.

I returned my car to them on Friday 4/24, but I never heard from anyone. Every time we passed by, my car remained in the same spot where I parked it that morning at 7:45AM. It has been nearly 2 weeks without a car, or if I did have it, it was broken down in my driveway. I have spent a significant amount of time and money on this situation, and as a loyal customer, I feel that they don't care about me, my car, or our safety.

Currently, my car is still at Jack Furrier, and it's day 2 of the third round of them "working" on it. I believe they should reimburse me and cover the cost of having my car taken to a more competent and reputable shop. I would never recommend or take my vehicle to this shop again. I pay too much to be treated and spoken to like an idiot, and they show no effort in keeping us informed. My dad and I are the ones who have to constantly call or visit to check the status. I feel like they have taken advantage of me, and all I want is to have a working, fixed, reliable, and trustworthy car again. If they couldn't fix it, I don't understand why they didn't say so from the beginning, especially since they charged me $95 for a diagnostic test. FIX MY CAR! Stay away from this shop!
