I am writing to recommend the services of J. David Tax Law firm. I have been working with Michael C, in the last year, and he has never disappointed me. He is very detailed and is keen to meet all the expectations for IRS and state taxes. There responsiveness to IRS urgent matters when they wanted to withhold my pay was lifted and in the end was able to reduce my tax obligations by over 150K dollars for several years of unfilled taxes when I was working and living abroad has been life saver.

Great company to work with. We had gotten audited for 2 years and *** made a mistake during the audit and was saying we owed way more than we really did. We tried sorting it out on our own to no avail. So we hired *** tax law and they were fantastic. They were able to get ahold of *** immediately to stop further action. Finally after 4 years of fighting with *** J. *** was able to resolve the issue and greatly decreased what we owed. My only regret is not hiring them sooner. You can't go wrong with them. They keep you updated throughout the whole process and are always available by phone or email if you have questions. "

Hands down this is the best law firm that I've used. Ms. M and Mr. C was very helpful throughout the entire case. I mainly was assisted by Ms. M and she was great. Any time I had a question or concern she gave me a clear explanation. Response times were phenomenal. I've never had to sit and wonder if they received my email message or phone call. J. David Tax Law Firm LLC is one of the most trusted Law firm that I have dealt with. I was assigned to Jesse F which gave me upmost respect and handle my case with pure honesty. He took my case and without a doubt knew the best protocol to take to get the case resolved. Jesse F advised me on every step to the resolution and every step he advised me was on point. He was professional and since I was in a different state he made a conference call during a meeting with the auditor to ensure that everything went well. Over the last 2+ years, Mr. F has greatly exceeded my expectations in every conceivable way. I reached out to J David Tax Law Firm for a tax issue that needed to be addressed urgently. I had heard of them on a radio commercial and remembered the name, so it was not difficult locating them on google. As soon as we decided to engage with the firm, a representative from the company got the ball rolling immediately. Nadia M was assigned to our case as the defense attorney. Once Nadia got familiar with our case, we realized she was the right person to handle the case. We were concerned the COVID-19 situation might drag things along due to closures. That was not the case. Nadia was proactive, responsive, and conscientious. Within a few weeks Nadia was able to get an amicable resolution to the case. We are pleased with the outcome. Several years ago, I was in serious straits with my taxes after living economic setbacks including a serious accident. In desperation, I searched for a solution and came upon the website for this firm. After a phone call with ***, I was assigned to *** Fleet. The utmost calm, professional knowledge and courtesy that *** showed me as he resolved my issues were attributes that led me to remain with the firm since that time. Yearly, I have the pleasure and confidence of knowing that ***, along with his associates, will provide the clear, highly affordable advice and service I need to remain in compliance with tax laws. I cannot imagine, even though we are separated geographically, of not being able to contact *** for advice and guidance. In an uncertain time, I feel safe.

To me it was bad. I had been notified that tax liens had been placed on my home; garnishment of income, and not friendly letters and threats form the IRS. The problems began surfacing after I underwent treatment for Stage IV Throat and Neck cancer; Job loss, (I couldn't talk, poured Jevity through a tube in my stomach, could barely walk; the housing market bombed; the market crashed, and going thru a very unpleasant divorce. Even though I paid taxes when I began working again 2 years later, I still owed form the cancer years, because of all I lost, Cancer treatment is expensive; drugs are expensive, I could not pay all. A couple years ago I underwent 3 surgeries to repair damage caused by the radiation. The choice is pay tax, or pay the caregivers. I had heard ads from J David Tax Law, and checked with a couple attorneys I run with their opinions. They advised me to talk to them; that they were very good with tax issues. The initial intake call to the firm was comforting. My case was assigned Nadia M, Esq,, who gave me call to begin the process a short time later. From that first day speaking with her, Nadia so helpful, giving me reassurance and confidence. She advised that she would take care of everything. After getting some forms and documents to her (she made what I thought would be an arduous process) very easy and straight forward. I don't pretend to know all they did, but she worked absolute miracles. She kept me apprised of what the status of my case by continually updating me, and keeping me assured things were on track. Ms M is kind, thoughtful, incredibly honest and straight forward, professional, and has such great wit. I enjoyued working with her, although she did all the work. I spoke with some two attorneys at this firm, *** and ***. I provided then with information about my state tax issues. Both attorneys asked me about my expectations (what I was looking to resolve in this case). I told them that the state tax agency has issued an order to garnish wages and it was submitted to my employer. I told them that the most important thing was stopping the wage garnishment and if it wa determine that I did owe the taxes, I wanted a payment plan set up. *** emailed me later (after taking my $500) and advised that she had just spoken with the agency and they stated that they could not release the garnishment until the balance was paid in full. I have emailed this company asking for a refund. I had already told this law firm that the garnishment was active. They did not have to call the agency to gather that. I want my $500 back, ASAP. Do not hire this firm. Try a law firm that does more than just make a $500 phone call.

I am requesting a refund. I contacted J.David Tax Law LLC because I felt confident to move forward with the company given their online reviews and team expertise, and having members with over 10 years of experience; this was the basis of my decision to do business with the company. They also advertise a free consultation. After speaking with the first person they told me that they only do inbound calls and that I needed to call back to speak with an attorney that would be working directly with me. I called back and I spoke to Rep A, who was personable and who sounded confident in what I needed to do so I signed up for the service believing that I was talking to whom I would be working directly with, and who was actually an attorney based on the hand-off from my original call. Rep A had also been with the company for a long time. Right after I paid for the service, similar to other complaints, I was handed off immediately to another team and Continued in attached...

We contacted J David tax law LLC in late 2019 to deal with a frightening notification from the IRS. We spoke to several members of the account team and at that point felt confident that they would be able to help us with our tax situation. Given the level of expertise that was claimed and all the great reviews we felt that the relatively high cost to engage J David tax law was worth it. Once we paid, we were handed off to a very junior member of the team and communication was very far and few between (despite my constant phone calls and emails).My escalation emails and phone calls to *** all went unanswered. Fast forward a month or two and COVID 19 hit. Obviously no one could have predicted this and both J David tax law and the IRS were transitioning teams to work from home so I had no choice but to wait. Given that they were familiar with our current issue with the IRS, despite the delays, we felt comfortable with J David tax law filing our 2019 taxes. This was a big mistake as once again it was handed off to a recent college grad with little to no experience. I was disappointed that I had to explain that I needed to depreciate certain assets and honestly at this point I do not feel comfortable filing what has yet to be produced. We have yet to resolve our initial IRS issue (after many thousands of dollars paid) and are currently in a predicament with the Oct 15 filing extension expiring. If I were to do it again, I would ask to interview the team that is actually handling my case or not engage their services at all. Please be careful before making any payments

I contacted the J David Law Firm to inquire about a tax debt that my wife and I had. We initially, jointly spoke with *** assured us that due to COVID, the IRS was pretty much, "Taking any offer in compromise". He made it seem like an offer in compromise was absolutely the likely outcome. My wife and I were clear that we didn't want to any kind of payment plan, and that if an offer of compromise was not the likely outcome, we'd handle it ourselves. His response was that although he couldn't guarantee that outcome, it was definitely likely, "And like I said, the IRS is VERY understanding right now due to COVID; they've been pretty much taking any offer." They initially assigned us an attorney who we literally couldn't understand (and my wife is fluent in both English and Spanish). Not only could we not understand her, she couldn't understand us. We had no choice but to ask for another attorney. The second attorney, during our initial consultation, he was suggesting that an offer in compromise would actually not be the most likely outcome, and then asked us what kind of payment plan we would agree to. We let him know that we had told *** that we were not interested in that outcome - at all. I wrote an email to him on Saturday, Feb. 27th letting him know that I was not happy with how the firm seemed to be misrepresenting itself. Today, on March 1st, we were given a call by that lawyer's "supervisor". He apologized, and tried to explain again that we would actually not be eligible for a reduction in the amount owed to the IRS. He said it was because we had a second home we use for rent. I let him know that we were VERY clear from the start that we were looking for a reduction based on the fact that we lost over $30,000 last year due to COVID. We let him know that during our initial consultation (before paying anything), my wife and I were VERY clear that we had a second home that was generating income. From that fact alone (and the supervisor agreed) they should have realized that they would only be able to "help me" get on a payment plan (which we have NO interest in doing due to how the IRS collects interest). They already have collected $1,000 from us (2 installments of $500 each).I have already asked my credit card for a correction on the second $500 payment (they wanted $2500 in total). I feel that the entire amount should be credited back as they misrepresented themselves during their very first conversation with us (my wife was on the call too and can confirm everything I've written).
