Hi,

I am so disappointed. My 2011 Hyundai i20 engine has ceased without any warnings. My car started to make a sound that I was not familiar with and this happened on the 18th of June. I have an automatic gearbox and we got stranded next to the road, had to wait for a flathead truck to tow it in. It was a very horrible experience standing in the dark in the cold for more than 2 hours to wait for the unsung hero to take us home. What is so mind boggling is, that there was no indication or warning lights or sounds, until that sudden one moment. After we got a specialist to have a look at the engine it indicates that the vehicle needs a engine overall. I could not believe it and still can't believe it. She, my car, had no problems at all. I am still in shock and in disbelief. But the report from the specialist tells another story. It is not fair that if something was wrong with my engine that I did not get any indication or warning signs from the cars electronic or computer system. To get her fixed is going to cost so much money, that I don't have or planned for, because my car was in no dire condition at all...Except for the bonnets paint that is faded excessively, but nowhere else on the car and I want to bring that up in this matter as well. I researched and I am aware of factory defects and I need to be contacted by a professional representative to assist me to get to the botyom of this snd resolved please. I love my car, she was reliable, but this is such a sudden, very uninformed without a warning or indication that there is something wrong is not acceptable or normal... I need an explanation as to why this happened...

I am at a loss of words and loss in faith with the Hyundai brand and concerned if this is a defect that has not been shared or attended to at all.

I am asking to assist me for a solution for I am getting no answers or a clear explanation as to why and what happened.

Desired outcome: My car to be in working order by repairing it or compensation to get the vehicle in working order. Alternative is to provide me with another i20 2011 module
