As a frequent business traveler, I recently tried HotelEngine for my lodging needs. While the platform offered substantial savings of up to 60% on corporate accommodations, my experience was mixed. The booking process was seamless, and the rewards program was a nice touch. However, upon arrival, I encountered cleanliness issues in my room, unreliable Wi-Fi, and noise disturbances from neighboring rooms. These factors significantly impacted the quality of my stay. Despite the drawbacks, the customer support team was responsive and tried to address my concerns promptly. If HotelEngine can improve on the maintenance and service quality, it has the potential to be a top choice for business travelers seeking cost-effective lodging options.

On January 22, I booked a hotel stay on Hotel Engine. At that time, total cost of the stay was $150. However, upon completion of the stay, the receipt I received from the hotel says the stay was only $135.60. I was overcharged by Hotel Engine.

Confirmation 85592ED006881: I paid $187.56 for a two-night stay from March . Unfortunately, my son and I were unable to stay at the hotel due to several issues. Firstly, there was a terrible smell in the room. Additionally, the beds that I had paid for as queen size were actually full size. Moreover, the hinge on the room door fell off, which made us feel unsafe. The floors were also exposed, and there was a nail sticking out through the bay window seat, which scratched my son's leg and caused bleeding. Furthermore, the bed covers had multiple cigarette burn holes, and disappointingly, there was no bathroom mirror. These are just a few examples of the problems we encountered.

I paid for a hotel room for my summer vacation through the Hotel Engines website. However, when I arrived at the hotel, they did not have the room I had paid for available. Instead, they offered me a smaller room at a lower price. Hotel Engines informed me that the only way to process this transaction was to refund my original purchase and have me pay for the other room separately. I agreed to this arrangement and informed Hotel Engines about the situation. They investigated and confirmed the issue. The problem now is that they are not giving me a refund. Instead, they are offering me a credit of $2,127.72. I need the money to pay off my American Express card. It is not fair because I don't know when I will be going on another vacation.
