I purchased an extended protection plan for my washing machine but the warranty was placed on my dryer. The paper work I received conveniently does not mention which product received the warranty. To try and correct this problem I was sent on series of "the right person". In the end, Home Depot refused to acknowledge the mistake. Not only did they refuse to help me, some associates hung up on me. The did not want to hear my complaint.

This is not our first issue. The stove we purchased has been serviced for the same issue at least seven times. The on and off button for the oven goes out on the control panel, which is the same button the technician needs to see error codes. So, on most of the repair calls for our stove the technician cannot give us a proper reason the problem. They just keep replacing the entire front panel. By Home Depot's lemon policy, this stove should have replaced after the first three incidences.

I did address policy on several occassions, but the number instances that constituted replacement changed depending on who you spoke with. In addition, when we report the on going problems and place the claims for service for the stove, the technician calls us back to schedule service for our dishwasher on every instance.

We have reported to Home Depot that every time we make a repair claim for our stove the tech calls us and inquires about a dishwasher that needs repairing. We just kindly respond, "no, it's actually a stove that needs repair".

Could this be a coincidence, bad communication, or Could Home Depot protection plan be scam?

Desired outcome: 1. Please refund my money for the extended warranty that I never received for my washing machine and remove the extended warranty on the dryer that I never purchased ( I did ask to purchase an extension on my dryer).

Home depot 3 year extended appliance warranty with Asurion is a complete SCAM! It overlaps with the manufacturer warranty instead of honoring the warranty after the 1 yr manufacturer warranty is complete as a result its like getting a 2yr warranty yet paying for 3 years. I will NEVER buy extended warranty from home depot again waste of money.
