I used to love the app so much, until suddenly it got full of inappropriate movies and then the new update. The new update is more like a downgrade unfortunately, the app had categories that made it way easier to find something and even the colours were better, and PLEASEEE clean the app from all these inappropriate stuff it’s really REALLY annoying, sad and disgusting. I know people who deleted the app bc of the two reasons i explained above and im about to too. So please fix these problems

I LOVE THIS APP SOOO MUCH! It was hard to get used to all the controls at first, but it’s easy to figure them out. The only complaint is, I was watching the beauty and I had one episode left but the next day I checked true beauty with English subs were gone! And it’s still not back. But it functions perfectly, and there’s a wide variety to watch! ALSO WATCH F4 THAILAND SO GOOD OML! (p.s there is an option to enhance your quality, which I recommend bc it can look blurry if you don’t change the quality)

I would have given a five star rating but now because of the update I can’t even search dramas
Every time I try to search it appears no related content or whatever but before the update I could search freely and it was so amazing I have watched many dramas from here before the update you should really go back to the other update it was so much better then this one. Lots of apps are doing this because of new year as so it became ruined I hope this app will go back to how it was before this ridiculous update

I was gonna use the web version to watch this show but it tells me I need to download the app to get all of the episodes but when I downloaded the app you have to log in so you can see all the shows including the one I came to watch but it makes you only log in with your phone number that’s not that bad but you need to put you area code with they don’t have a lot of choices my phone area code is 1+ which is very common but they don’t have that. Besides that I’ll definitely try again if they add more options and even sign in with your email!

Is this an android app on app store? Cuz on my tablet i could watch true beauty and other stuff but i moved to my phone and i searched up true beauty and nothing came. So then later i searched up Welcoome to Waikiki annd nothing came. And then i thought why not search a movie that was on the popular section. I searched it nothing came! I got very frustrated cuz im normally on my phone than my tablet and its hard to watch something. Please fix this! Aldo i looked at this for updates and it was totally up to date.

So dont download this unless your on android.

I really liked how the app was before and then when the update came out it’s not saving any of the progress on my shows and anything that I’ve been watching. I keep losing where I’m at in my shows and constantly having to search for which part I’m on, It doesn’t let me log in or sign up and I just don’t understand why they changed it because I liked it how it was originally. I ended up not using the app anymore because it’s just too much work trying to watch anything on there. i’ve tried reinstalling it many times to be able to login to save my progress, but nothing will work.

I got the app to watch true beauty, I watched it in the original audio with English subtitles: I think the feature was removed as now you can only watch the show in Spanish audio and veitsub with no captions. Please please please at least let me have English captions so I know what’s happening. I’m too far into the show and I can’t seem to watch it anywhere else. Please add the captions back!

A review of the app in general; it’s pretty good, everything’s free and you only have to watch an add once. There’s sometimes subtitles and you usually can add any language captions. I recommend it if you’re getting into Kdrama!

Like I barely started using this app and I read the reviews which was surprising to me because people were saying that the app was better before the new update and I saw that the before the new update you didn’t have to go back in the search bar and look for the Asian drama, movie, and etc that you were watching and but if the app would have saved the thing that you would like to resume like Netflix does. That would be better because when you close out of the app it’s does not resume the thing you were watching and it would be a better experience and way better reviews that the app did before the new update happened!

I’m using it recently but just short period of I realize that how awesome this app is , first of all it’s free the ( the app that everyone is looking for ) I just found it but I wish I could found it earlier . The second point it that it has all type of k drama , anime ( especially the new ones ) , it has all of them with subtitles but the point is that I noticed it has Persian sub which is really rare and it really surprised me , really good . The third point it that it’s really easy to use and last but not least it allows you to download whatever you want up till 6.54 GB ( which is really awesome) . After all thanks for your hard work . Keep it up. Also I really recommend it for k drama, anime , movies lover . Really amazing!

I certainly love the app and it has been letting be watch k-dramas without netflix since i cant have netflix. Lots of people have been concerned about the pausing yet I have found a decent way to pause if your pause is not there. You just double click, it will have a box pop up but no worries, there will be a “x” so just click the “x” and your pause/unpause will pop up. Im very sad yet to not see some dramas I want to see such as Its Okay Not To Be Okay. Lots of people are sad about the ads but I really dont care about those. My only downside is how you guys dont have 1 popular kdrama yet its fine, i dont wanna make a big deal about it. But this app is very good even though it has a 2.4 rating. Another thing is that you dont have to sign in if you don’t want to!

Please HITV change the update back to how it was the way it is now is not good ads are now popping up it never use to do that their would just be ads b4 eps and whenever it was paused. Now ads are taking up the whole screen with no “x” out please change it back it was very nice withjust dramas and a little of American but now it not
PLEASE HITV change it back we could download keep for as long as we wanted and YOUR APP was the only app that had certain content for free please change it back

Many IG accounts placed your apps names when ever they promoted a drama they told their followers to download YOUR APP but now it’s very bad because of the UPDATE please CHANGE IT BACK and the ratings will go BACK up! THE WAS IT WAS BEFORE WAS NICE AND SIMPLE PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK (respectfully I don’t mean to yell)

Warning….. this is. I fell in love with this app about 8 to 9 months back. It was a wonderful experience. It was and app that I share or talk about with peers and like minded people. Then the unthinkable happens to I phone users only. It got an up date that put this app into the Stone Age. You can not find movie that is advertised in it screenshot above. You wouldn’t be able to following along with the absence of English subtitle. So if you are an English speaking individual that love the Asian culture and want to enjoy the work they produce. This is not the app to use anymore for the iPhone user community. Please check out other apps or hopefully if you have an android device you might be able to watch it on there. Otherwise this is not the app you would want to use at the moment. Try Viki Asian crush or Netflix Disney.

I did enjoy this app at first, however there has been a lot of issues. First off, when I switch to my iPad to watch a show on here, you cannot watch it in full screen. When I try to put it in full screen, it completely cuts half the screen off! I’m not sure what’s wrong with it but it only does that when I’m on my iPad. Another problem is that it’s hard to use. My mom has this app (she has an android phone) and hers is completely different from my iPhone one. There is no categories on mine, unlike androids, and I get many ads before I can even view what the show is about! I cannot pause the show without it freezing and playing another ad. The subtitles are very slow and when I get off the app, it doesn’t save where I last was on a show either. Lastly, this app has too many inappropriate covers for other shows, so I wish you can change that because it makes a lot of people uncomfortable. But other than that, I do like this app somewhat because it has a lot of K-dramas that I wish to watch!

Okay so the app is good and I’ve had it for many month now but since yesterday it would exit it out of the app and I would try and try multiple times to click it again. And the app would open and load then it would exit out again. I thought maybe I needed to update it. So I went to the App Store and checked and nope. So I deleted the app and re-downloaded it again. But that didn’t fix the problem it keeps exiting it out. Another thing is the ads when I click my screen to turn on subtitles. It takes me off the app and onto google and it starts opening a site. I think it will eventually give my phone a virus. Please fix this bug or whatever it is. It’s annoying. Also I can’t have an account without a phone number? Why not? Usually apps let you make an account with just your email. I want to make an account to keep track of which shows I’m watching but I can’t do that. Also this app needs a pause option. The only way I can “pause it” is by turning off my screen or switching to another app. I’d rather pause the show instead of going through all this hassle.

Why would you do this? This is really ridiculous because why y’all updated the app the app was perfectly fine The way it was until y’all updated it it’s just ridiculous because now the K dramas aren’t the same I don’t have the same K dramas that it had before you updated it and it is ridiculous because ain’t no way it should have got this bad the ratings have dropped all the way down when I mean all the way down I mean all the way down because ain’t no way you should’ve updated this this bad we think y’all should put it back the way it was because everything was perfectly fine there was dramas that I needed to watch and I cannot watch it on this new update because it’s ridiculous utterly ridiculous I don’t see why y’all updated if y’all can put it back the way it was the ratings might go up a little bit but I don’t think they’re going to go up anytime soon with this new update because it’s ridiculous everything is just ridiculous about this new update this app is just ridiculous really I’m not even the only one I think this I’m not so we really think you should put this app the way it was and that’ll be all I have to say for this review thank you for your time if you read this…

i love hitv and I use HITV all the time but I can get really annoying at times ‍♀️. It’s kind of annoying how I cannot sign up because the region I’m in, I highly dislike how you can only sign up in specific regions. also I dislike the update PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK the update made ads pop up another thing I’m upset about is true beauty. Not that anything is bad with True beauty it’s just that there is no English sub there is only Vietnamese sub and Lantino audio. I’ve been trying to watch true beauty for a while but there is no English sub I’ve noticed since the update ratings have gone down SO PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK IM BEGGING ANOTHER THING WITH THE UPDATE IS THAT (CONTINUING WTIH THE AD PROBLEM) IS THAT ADS WOULD ONLY POP UP BEFORE EPISODES AND WHEN IT WAS PAUSED IVE SEEN A TON OF KDRAMA VIDEOS AND THEY HAVE HITV ON THE TOP AND THEY ARE PROMOTING THE APP AND THATS GOOD BUT WHEN I FIRST SAW A KDRAMA VIDEO WITH THEM PROMOTING THE APP I WAS SO HAPPY TO FIND AN APP FOR KDRAMAS / ANIMES BUT I WAS KINDA DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE OF THE ADS ,THE TRYE BEAUTY SITUATION, AND THE APP UPDATE. THE APP CAN ALSO LAG AT POINTS AND TAKE ME OUT OF THE APP FOR SOME REASON (PLEASE FIX THAT and respectfully I’m not trying to yell and put it in a mean way sorry !)

I miss the old setup on this app, where it look easy to navigate. I was able to add series to my wishlist for me to go back and watch it. When I reopen the episode, it took me where I left it, now with the update, it doesn’t do that to me anymore. Now, I had to watch it from the beginning

Why would you guys change the app I can’t even watch any of the kdramas I was watching before and it doesn’t even have my area code on there I was literally in the middle of a drama and now I can’t even finish it the app was perfectly fine just the way it was. If I could rate it zero stars I would.

The new update should not have been done it’s not the same it doesn’t work how it used to AT ALL! Can’t save my show in the continue watching I say y’all should change it back this new update is a two star for me but the old version is a ten for me

So my daughter and I both had hiTV and when she last updated her iPad hi TV no longer worked. So I have not updated my iPad so that we can continue to watch shows. But with security nowadays it’s important that we can update and we need to be able to update devices and not lose the app so are y’all doing anything about this?

It says that in chinese. I was able to use the app but now I can’t even watch anything. I have good connection and I can’t watch anything. Please fix your app.

Edit: you guys took off the glory and other dramas. Everyone says the old update is better and I guess it is. Please change it back because your app is no longer usable.

It was beautiful before updating it. I felt angry. It was my favorite program. Then I updated it. It became ridiculous. It is not worth downloading. It is bad. It also does not deserve its star. Who updated it? I wish it would come back. Previously, it was better than any program, but now it does not deserve anything

Why is this app totally different on my phone than it is on my iPad. Cant even log in or find the show I found on my phone with this app. Very strange but it seems every single other review is as bad so hopefully someone will fix this. It’s not like there aren’t several other apps like this that are good so fix it or lots will just delete it.

I loved this app and how it let me watch the show true beauty with English subtitles then all the sudden one day it was only showing different languages for the show without the subtitles or anything and it was bad quality. I don’t know what happened but I’m not able to watch my show anymore and you guys were the only ones who carried it and I’m really upset.

It’s so much different from how it is on my computer. There is so much more variety on there and here theirs literally nothing interesting to watch. I can’t even sign up or anything and I can’t find my country. This app is a literal mess and needs to be fixed. But if you have computer, I recommend downloading it on there cause it’s way different. This is the most worst app ever ! And it’s frustrating and annoying! The other hitv I see on peoples phone isn’t like this ! If you guys can’t upgrade the app pls delete it on Apple Store pls ! Cuz I’m tired and frustrated. I can’t fast forward a movie , there’s no pause, or I stopped at ep8 I would have to go back to ep1 what type of useless app is this ! Do something about this app please !

I have the app downloaded on my phone and have already created an account there. From this account, I have my favorite list, and my currently viewing status, but this version on the iPad operates as a totally different app. I am not even able to find my favorite list which I saved from my phone here on the iPad and I am also not finding the shows themselves.the iPad version of this app seems bogus.

This is not the HiTV app I used to have on my iPhone. Something happened and I can’t no longer download that app. It still works fine in android but not on iPhone anymore…. Forcing me to consider changing to an android phone. This version of HiTV is terrible and not kdramas. If Apple App Store will not do anything about it, I am going to switch to Samsung… so tired of dealing with not having good apps on App Store!

It was low quality no good k-dramas good K dramas that they have a boring don’t download it’s horrible and I just saw a K-pop person on there so that is the only reason why it’s a very horrible. Please don’t download it. I don’t recommend it look at the other reviews they’re just horrible just please don’t download this app you’ll regret it, and plus there is no way that anyone would like this app and plus they don’t have English subtitles

This was my favorite app where I can come to watch dramas for FREE but now that it updated it is very hard to work and I can’t even watch Kdrama anymore also when you try to search up stuff no k-dramas
come up this is the worse please change it back to the old version it was way better way better I’m begging you this went from good to the worse this very hard to deal with I want the old one back less work and I had my account up and everything.

This new update is just horrible I was able to enjoy my k-dramas but now it’s just not the same anymore now it’s so much more hard to work with the app and it has so many problems the k-dramas are the same when I try to pause the movie it will just start over again all the things that I had saved aren’t there anymore so anything threat I was watching before this update is just not there anymore I really liked the older version of the app and really hope that this gets fixed.

Terrible app
I don’t even know why they would update it !? I downloaded the original app on my ( now old ) phone before the update and got a new phone. When I tried to download it on my new phone it immediately updated and it was so terrible I was so shocked but thank God I have the original non updated app on my old phone and watch kdramas normally but I’m super mad I can’t watch it on my tablet or my new phone I have to bring my old phone if I want to watch a kdrama smh
