Let me just air my side on this matter... a rant perhaps on the travel agency that I will not and never recommend to anyone.
I am not a well-seasoned traveler but I do travel a lot of times in a year. But the most recent experience I’ve had was far worse than any travel I’ve been into.
My friends and I wanted to climb Mt. Pulag ever since. I’ve searched for numerous sites to take us there and I inquired with many travel agencies and I found one that suits our budget and our needs.
This was their itinerary, terms and it’s only for 3000 all in!

0400 Early morning trek to summit for sunrise

Good to be true right? Anyway I decided to open this up with my friends and they all agreed to pay for the down payment. I deposited the amount required but before depositing the amount I even asked Ms. Dannish the person in charge if they were legit and she texted me back “yes ma’am you can check our feedbacks on the page po”. After a week, I still got not updates as to where the meet up would be. I wanted to call this person but she would always say nasa meeting siya. Which maybe nasa meeting nga siya so ok lang. I would set up and text her if ok lang I can call her at 7 pm she would say yes but then again di naman kami nauusap.
Our climb was supposed to be all set but she just messaged me this:
“Hi mam gudam sorry late reply ksbaba LsNG ng team from pulag. Mam yung kasama niyo po sa group nag back out po. 4 na LNG po kau natra for this weekend. Kapag wla po iba nagjoin you have to choose po if you will resched the tour or you will just take the private tour po instead”.
I MEAN WHAT THE F!?!?!? We have been preparing things for days, buying jackets, insulators, things for climbing up the mountain that we want to climb and we got this? Can you just imagine my disappointment?

JOINER GROUP TERMS and CONDITIONS
* Target number of participants for the tour to push through is 12 pax.
* Prices varies for 8-11pax
11 pax - 3300 per head
10 pax - 3900 per head
9 pax - 4200 per head
8 pax - 4900 per head
* Discounts will be forfeited in case the target number of pax was not reach.
* 7 and below pax . Tour will be cancelled and will be move to the next schedule. Participant can either join the next schedule or choose other tour events. But reservation fee will not be available for refund.

Just to get things going, we chose to have another tour event BALER.
But the thing is... since the previously cancelled trip didn't push through, we are being asked for an additional amount since they said they've paid for the van already. We didn't back out in the first place! Ano to pera pera lang?! Don’t you think it’s unfair for us? Oo nasa terms ninyo na you can resched and change to another tour but it was never stated na same ang fees nababayaran kung mag change ng tour. Nagbayad kami ng tama pero kami pa yung magbabayad sa lintek na van na yan na hindi naman naming na gamit? Tangina naman maam noh?!?! UNFAIR LANG PO TALAGA
Not only that, since we cannot refund our down payment we opted for BALER, I cannot express my negativities then because natakot ako takbohin niyo yung pera ko.
Let’s continue ma’am, you told us that we would be picked up in our hotel but your assistant called us that they would meet us at Petron/Mercury? I MEAN SERIOUSLY MA’AM? I already said na hindi kami from Manila. We don’t even know the places that he was instructing us to go to ma’am just so you know we walked for maybe 1 – 2 corners only, yes, but we were carrying bags ma’am.
Then there is the van, it was too small ma’am I hope you do something about it. I’m not going to stress it out but ma’am the second van that was with us? They don’t have air conditioner can you just imagine their suffering? For 6 hours no aircon at a crowded space and I saw them ma’am they were big people. I can just feel for them ...
Then there is the driver, whom I actually feel is like running against time. I’m really not sure but he doesn’t even answer questions correctly. I remember before we left one of the tourist asked “manong anong hotel po bah yung tutulugan natin?” he then replied ”may matutulugan po tayo ma’am” I mean, dude, she need a noun, the name of the hotel, she didn’t ask you if we can sleep somewhere. I mean I’m not the only one complaining really. One tourist even commented re: driving of the driver “buti nga kayo nasa likod kami nasa harapan kitang kita naming ang lakas ng patakbo niya pero nakatinging sa ibang kotse” Another instance... one tourist again asked "kuya san ba yung balete dito?" the driver then replied "ay ma'am nakalimutan ko po nadaanan na natin" ay sooooo ano kalimutan nalang din yung itinerary na anjan yung to visit the balete tree? i know it's just a tree but i'm sure every tourist would want their money's worth... I’m sure the driver knows his way… maybe even if he sleeps he can drive all the way to aurora but there are 12 passengers in that same van 13 including the driver … I hope he knows what he was / is/ will be doing when he is/ was/ will be driving. and maybe gusto niya ng umuwi talaga ... i mean we had a 9 hour trip from aurora to manila afterall
Then there is Peter, I’m not sure what he does … I never saw him in any of the tours really … he was there to ask for the remaining down payment. I think that was it, with his sardonic smile… literally that’s it. And this guy has the nerve to text me “ma’am wag mu nalang po ipaala, m sa iba na libre namin entrance fee niyo po”
Wait let me tell you what happened to this:
We finally contacted Ms. Dannish through Peter, her assistant’s, cellphone. We agreed to pay 2800 but they will shoulder all the entrance fee and tour guide fee. Guess what? All the entrance fee would only amount to 60.00 (30.00 moseo de baler and 30.00 mother falls). Given that is 2800 – 60.00 = 2740 that is still 340.00 higher than what is originally planned out … anyway may magagawa paba kami?!? Wala na diba? …
Mind you ma’am in your ADS you already said it includes fees and surcharges… it means it should include all fee and even the tour guide fee….
Kung sasabihin niyo po na hindi talaga kasama yung tour guide fee, hindi ko nga po nakita ang ibang tourist na nagbayad sa tour guide naming na si sir Adrian…
BUT SERIOUSLY?!?!? You still have the nerve to text me that sir?!?! … ABA MATINDI AH!
so here's my review to you … if I could just give you a negative score I would … I understand ma’am na any company would want to gain profit … pero seriously ganito bah ang gusto niyong way na kumita?… I have 4 thousand plus friends ma’am sana lang po mabasa nila ito and they would learn from my experience … so that THEY WILL NOT CHOOSE YOU…
